Next post is up, shortly to be followed by the scene rundown, and then the Interlude.
Maybe someone will be surprised by what comes out there, but... I doubt it. It's pretty obvious by now I suppose, no matter how much Cressa has denied it in the past XD
EDIT: Btw, I also totally feel for Jessie with the way he feels he's falling apart... I also feel like I'm falling apart recently... sigh... so confusing. Anyway, he'll get betetr, eventually. We'll start seeing pillarofcalm!Jessie again, I'm sure =]
In fact, the start of the next scene begins with Jessie regaining some of his cool.. but when he comes back and finds Coline gone I'm sure he'll lose it again .___. damn

The Interlude is done, and I have a feeling people're gonna get confused about. It was confusing to WRITE, because I needed to put Cressa's thoughts into an order that would make her accessible to the reader, and I had to re-tweak a lot and add bits to substantiate certain points so that people didnt get the wrong idea based solely on the things she was apparently implying.
Cressa is half-insane herself, in the sad kind of way, and so I made use of connections drawn before in the Event to try and make people understand just what's going on with her and her feelings. Hopefully you'll be able to pinpoint the common themes developing here.
I still think people are gonna be confused, though.
If anyone has any questions, just post them here and I'll answer them. XD

As a note in avdance, I didnt mean for more random song and dance to creep in there, but seriously, Cressa has a freaking mind of her own.
And since nobody asked but I figure no one got it, theeeeeeimportance of the verse "and then the black-winged moth shall break itself upon the bark" in the last Interlude: a metaphor for the fact that all of these characters are pinning their hopes and destinies on things that will ultimately destroy them. sadness

Ahahaaha, actually, the opposite... XD I had a feeling some people would do the intelligent thing and not mess with the artefact, and so that one is the one carrying the more unpleasant consequences... bwahahahahaa
