It is capable of misinterpreting information. It is capable of doing stuff completely wrong. Generally, if you have somebody do a problem, and another person do the problem, the one who does it faster, is smarter. And the one who gets it right, is smarter. A machine will get it right 99.99999999% [repeating of course] of the time. Even if you put it in wrong, a machine will get the answer to that wrong. Computers are superior in almost all ways. The only reason computers are inferior to people, are because we have brains, and can function on our own. Neither of you have good arguments, and both of you need to learn what you're talking. You're pretty much saying "The only reason cars are faster than humans, is that humans can't move their legs fast enough. If humans could move their legs really fast, they would be like cars." Because unfortunately, humans can't do that, and they can't contain information and retain it for a lifetime, and they can't process problems as fast, and they can do a problem wrong, and get the wrong answer, whereas a machine doesn't even need to think before it gives you the right answer. You really don't want to join him on that side of the argument, because we already have computers that are exponentially as capable of problem solving as the human brain is.)) ((Yes, but computers can't solve every problem, only the one they were programmed for. A computer may work better than a human in certain areas, but the human brain is more functional as a whole. I beleive that, in the future, computers will surpass the human brain, but the technology is not at that level yet.)) ((I never said a computer was as functional. I said it was smarter. Computers are already smarter than the human brain, because they take in information differently. You can teach them a concept, and with that concept, they can input it and use it to solve any problem within that region of information. Whereas you can teach a human how to do something, and they can still be completely incapable. Learning how to do algebra, doesn't mean you are suddenly able to do any algebraic equation known to man.))

A computer is made to be able to make equations, and then be able to solve them. Using the mathematical symbols, and numbers, an infinite number of problems can be created, and a solution is created with them.))

((Actually, it was algebra as in 9th grade. And it was during 7th grade. And will you shut up, get a girl friend, play football or any other sport. You trying to prove me wrong and discredit me is getting on my nerves. And I don't care what you think, you could be some fat old lady trying to get a date on some dating website. Which aren't that acurate. And humans can diagnose themselves to a certain extent. Like computers, when the brain can't function, then they can no longer see themselves what is wrong. And why do you care? This is all fake. Its an rp, so get off your high horse (Or in this case your donkey) and go harrass some other kid that has to sit in an office all day while on gaia. And you need to get out of this thread. You have no character that is an Athena kid. So please stop posting. Nobody really cares what you have to say.))

The Medulla Oblengata is responsible for muscle memory, which is why you only need to use thought to control your organs once, then the process is remembered and done automatically. And since it is done automatically, it is remembered when it is automatically done, which is why when a human dies, their bowels empty because they lose control of their organs. And being capable is not smart, once again. Humans do not complete more complex tasks at all times, if they did, once again, we wouldn't need computers.))

Neuron's are not irrelevant, I'd say that they would be the most critical cells in the human body. Also, I'm pretty sure neurons are pretty important in every part of the nervous system, including the brain stem. ((The brains activities are not directly controlled by the nervous system. They are controlled by electrons, and the electrical impulses that cause activity in the cerebrum, cerebellum, medulla, and other parts of the brain. The brain is also not a muscle, though that's kinda just a fun fact. I didn't even like biology class, but it turns out, it does kinda help. ^-^))
