"Thatwouldbegood," he replied in one breath, all too quickly. Averting his gaze, the boy frowned slightly as he eyed his hand. Just because he asked Shin if his mother would mind if he liked him didn't mean Haro actually did...or at least that's what he would like to admit. It was a simple question, it didn't mean anything...it...
Pressing his free hand to his head, the boy sighed heavily. He really needed to think before he said stupid things.
"Eh, nm-"
Think.
"Uh..."
He couldn't think very well at the moment, apparently, thus he shook his head, "Mm, nevermind...I...would like to go back to your house if that's what you'd like to do..."

He smiled. "Let's go back, then. If I remember correctly, you're not very fond of the dark..." He lead the other back to his house. He closed the door behind them and upon entering he was met with the smell of something sweet cooking. He looked surprised. THe door had been unlocked as well... "Who...?" he began, but at that moment a boy stepped out of the kitchen, oven mits on his hands and an apron on. Shin smiled. "Hey, cos. How are you?" The boy grinned. "Aunt sent me. Says you need company and cake. Who's that?" he said, gesturing at Haro. "Haro," he said with a smile. "Haro, this is my cousin, Ryan." The boy smiled. He looked like he was about fifteen. He had the same nearly-black purple hair as Shin, the same pale skin, but his eyes were a golden-brown toffee color. And he was short. Very short.

With a slightly pained look, Haro forced a smile, "Ne...it's nice to meet you," he murmured, quickly letting go of the older teen's hand. Folding both hands behind his back, Haro turned to Shin for just a moment, "You needed company?" He asked in a quiet voice, eyes not meeting the other's.
Taking a few steps forward, the teen laughed, "Ne, Ryan, is it? Eh, so you're making a cake, ne?" He asked, peeking into the kitchen before returning a perfectly feigned grin at the younger boy.

Ryan grinned back, looking extremely self-satisfied. "Yup!! And it's not burnt this time, neither!!" he said, flashing a thumbs up. He seemed full of estatic energy, almost the opposite of Shin, although there was something similar in their smiles. "Mmm... I spend most of my time wither working or alone, so Mum figures Cos needs to check up on me now and then," he said with a shrug.

"H-heh, is that so?"
Haro smiled softly at the shorter boy.
"Eh, don't keep us in..." The teen's expression changed from one that of seeming happiness to a panicked one. He couldn't...he couldn't think of the word...and...he didn't know if this kid knew anything about Shin...or his father... if he knew anything about humans that weren't really humans...
"-Uh...in..." Fingers curling up, Haro's head dropped slightly.
"What...what kind did you make?"
Suspense?

Ryan frowned slightly at first, the very image of a younger Shin, but then smiled. "Chocolate!!!" He grinned and turned around, trotting back to the kitchen. There was a small black dog's tail sticking of his pants and it was wagging happily. "He's a chocolate addict," Shin said conversationally. "And he's a black labrodor..." he added under his breath so only Haro could hear.

[[Chocolate+dogs...that's ironic. XD <3]]
Haro simply stared at Shin with wide eyes. Blinking away the glaze over his amber eyes, the teen brushed fingers against the other's lightly. "Ne, I wish you would've told me sooner," he murmured, pulling his hand back to side before following after the enthusiastic boy.
"Ryan, eh, do you make cakes for Shin often? Because if you don't I suggest you start," the teen said with a light laugh, "I think ...I-" I would like to try all the kinds of..of cake, ne they smell good, eh-heh. But that comment would imply that he was staying here...
"I...think Shin could use a bit more food, ne?" He murmured with a smile, of course he was only teasing...

Ryan giggled. "I come here as often as I can, usually once every week or so. More if I need to." He smiled. "I'm guessing you'll be wanting some cake?" Shin sauntered in behind them. "Haro, if you do want cake you'll have to get it quick before the chocolate fiend eats it all," he teased.

"Nn, well, at least Shin certainly can't be lonely," Haro remarked with a laugh, settling himself down in one of the chair's tucked under the kitchen table. Pushing back his bangs, the teen let his eyes rest upon the top of the table.
Glancing over at the oldest of the three, Haro mustered up a small smile. "Eh, I don't mind, I can just have some if there's any left over," he murmured, averting his gaze, fingertips idley drawing nonsensical pictures across the tabletopwatch.

((xD I think you'll enjoy this: www.makingfiends.com )) "I was only joking," SHin said quickly. "Of course you can have some!" Ryan nodded hurriedly, looking concerned. The timer on the over dinged. "Oh, good!! That's it, all done!! That was the timer for it to cool... I iced it already, so you guys want to eat now?" he asked eagerly. ((Sorry for the load of bs, I'm doing about ten things right now. ><))

[[Omg. Mr. Milk. DD: <3 xd
It's okay, mine are equally as CRAPTACULAR, I'm just procrastinating on doing homework. I think this will be my last one for the night, I'll try to make it okay. XD]]
The teen shrugged lightly. "Fine by me," he murmured, watching with an amused smile as the boy started to dish out the cake, the younger boy giving himself a rather large piece in comparison to the others. It made him laugh, if only softly...
Turning to Shin, Haro shook his head, murming softly to the older teen, "Ne, it's fine...I- I know."
[[Or...not. o__x;;]]

Oh hey, I drew Wei a while ago [this was supposed to be a partner picture to the one I drew of Haro], I thought I'd post this incase you wondered what he looked like.
If anyone can guess what animal he is, you get a doodle from me. Note: He doesn't really have any animal characteristics in his human form, [well, kind of] so wild guessing would be in your favor. <33

((A snake? =o And sorry about not replying. >< I thought I did before I got kicked off to go to bed... Dx Sorry.)) Ryan served up the plates. "Milk!" he said suddenly. He poured three glasses and set them on the table. They sat down, Ryan looking eager and Shin looking his normal, mildly-interested self.

[Waaaah~? gonk I knew I shouldn't have picked such a stereotypical animal. xD Anyway, yeah, he's Florida Cottonmouth [Ooh, venomous] you get a doodle. <3 Anyway, it's fine, I've been busy studying for exams. n.n]
Flinching at the sudden exclamation, Haro looked up sharply, amber eyes following the youngest until he sat down. Dropping his gaze, the bright haired teen laughed softly to himself, fingering the rim of the glass lightly before picking up the cup.
Turning towards the brown eyed teen, Haro smiled, "Ne, this was very njce of you, Ryan, I'm...I'm glad I could meet you," taking a quick sip, the older teen continued, "Ne, are you staying the night, or...or for a few days?" He asked, scooping up a chunk of chocolate cake carefully with a fork.

"Nah. I'm leaving later tonight unless you want me to stay," he said, grinning. He took another large bite of cake and drank some milk, his legs kicking slightly under the table. He looked exceedingly childish. Shin took much smaller, neater bites, listening to the conversation. "He usually doesn't stay very long. After all, Ryan has his own worries," he said, a slight grin on his face.
