Kai looked confused. "You don't have the ability to come back from our defeat better Devon? Huh, that sounds like a big problem."

Kai frowned at Devon. "But then the whole world would fall into shadow, or whatever it is that The Fool wants to do. That would also be a big problem." He sighed and sunk in his chair.

Seta took the Evoker out of its case and tossed it at Kai, who caught it lazily.
Kai looked it over. "So this is what those Evoker things you were talking about look like."

Kai held the Evoker up to his head. "I wonder if I'll die if I pull the trigger..." Seta and Minato were watching him carefully.

Kai's hand shook as he tightened his finger. "Y-yeah...maybe..." He shut his eyes tightly. "P-per-son-a." He pulled the trigger, causing a glowing blue energy to be shot out the back of his head. Behind him an unfamiliar persona appeared. Kai stared up at it, his jaw hanging. "You're not Norn."

Kai started laughing. "It's so small compared to the other persona and shadows we've seen! I'll call you Yamato!" He looked at Seta. "What did you guys do?"
Seta shrugged. "We put Yamato into the Evoker, so that we could change your persona, I know you're the wheel of fortune, but that roulette thing was unreliable, you guys need a persona that wont end up helping your enemies sometimes."

Seta shook his head. "No, nor can he summon his card again. The Evoker's his way of using Persona now. We changed a few things about Kai's ego when he shot himself. Not enough to change his arcana, but enough to alter his true self a bit."
Kai frowned down at the Evoker. "That's....intrusive."
