Well, technically, there should be.
But Rydel can actually retract them so that they don't cut Seven while she's whipping him around.
The actual ringblade is about a foot taller than Seven. It would be incredibly heavy, especially to a little girl like that, if they weren't as synched as they are. That's why she had so much trouble learning to work with him--it's a very hard weapon to manage.
xDDDD
It's large enough so that, if she wanted, she could actually ride inside of it as a battle strategy.
It would just be a very dizzying experience.

xDDD I never said that she would grab it... he is a ring, I am a sword, I'm mainly used for disarming a weapon and then kill... I know a way to disarm a ring from someone...

I love him, and Stein the most. Mostly Stein. But he is by far most the MOST awesomest character ever made.
Makes Naruto look bad everytime he uses Tsubaki as a microphone... rofl

Black*Star is either way better than Naruto or way worse.
There's no middle-ground with Black*Star. Just the way it should be. whee
My favorite character is Chrona. After that, it's pretty much a free-for-all between Kidd, Giriko, Mifune, etc. I can never have just one favorite character. Because they always, ALWAYS die.

I love Crona too.
But I have to say that Kidd, Patty, and Liz are the best team out there.
I mean, look at them.
They have everything.
They have twin pistols, they have OCD, they have Patty being Patty, they have Liz keeping anyone from accidentally killing anyone, they have stripes, they have the power of badassery, and...
