Night dropped his hands since he felt that Ichi didnt want to shake hands. instead Night just simply said
" It is nice to meet you too"
Night listened as Ichi explained what they were doing to get info about the chuunin exams, but it seems that Night had some points to discuss with Ichi.
Night said.
dont you think its really risky to send a mere genin to different villages to get Info? there might be some other Ninjas from other villages on a jounin level that is just waiting outside for an ambush to extract infos from other ninjas for themselves or even to eliminate the participants of the exams early so that the genins on their village could get a higher chance of success.
If you think about it... its highly possible to happen.
Night calmly explained to Ichi.

Ichi nodded slightly to Night as he said that. "That crossed my mind;... but Akira is fast enough... to outrun any ninja following him; and K-Kyou's whole Jutsu list f-focus's on keeping out of other Ninja's Range of attack,... Evading them;... and keeping away form them in the first place" Ichi said with his hands still clinging to his side. "If t-there where two Genin... To send alone to another Village alone, it would be those two" Ichi said still looking at Night. "If.... you don't feel safe you can try something else" Ichi said remaining in his place; the Mission never said they where to work in teams so if they wanted too; it was completely up to them; Night could refuse if he wanted too.

Night looked down after hearing Ichi's answer.
I guess you're right. i maybe underestimating the sand's ninja a bit.
Night was really impressed on the level of trust that Ichi gave to his comrades.
If we already have a man on both the leaf and the stone, then the only thing thats left would be Water, and the Cloud itself. but to travel those distance would take several days and might just be a waste of time.
according to the clue given on the letter....
the event will be held somewhere south of the cloud village.
in that case... it would probably be in the middle of the cloud and water.....
with that said... chances of getting a good info would probably be the leaf since it is the one closest to both said countries.
if its ok with you ill also head towards the land of fire and start gathering info from there.

"With it being.... south of cloud; that means it can be anywhere other then Cloud;... and s-some of Stone" Ichi said shrugging slightly. "All the villages are south of Cloud, it didn't say Directly under it... it just said south of it" Ichi said before continueing. "And We already have another Ninja going to Leaf, so where in the land of Fire are you going to go for clues?" He asked as he waited for Night to reply, Ichi wanted to start looking through the sand village for the Jounin who would have clues to where it was located.

If theres 2 Ninjas going to the land of fire then theres no need for me to be there. im sorry i guess i relied on the clue on the letter too much...
Night told Ichi with a slightly apologetic tone.
do you have any idea for me to search info then?
Night asked Ichi as he stood up waiting for his answer.

Ichi paused for a moment and thought about what Night had asked him. "Well.... I-if you travel light, and fast.... I would think that the Mist would be good, If you are q-quick you can get back... about the same time as Kyou and Akira" Ichi said after thinking about it for a moment. "That will be 4 Full Villages of Info all put together..., Which should give us enough Info to find the exams" Ichi said nodding once more. "If that sound a-alright with you... if you head out now; I w-will start here.... we are meeting back up a-at the Village gates"

All right, ill do my best to get some info from the Mist.
theres no more time to waste.. ill be going now then.
the clone made a hand seal to undo the technique that instantly made the clone disappear passing all the info that the clone got to Night's original body.

As The clone Vanished Ichi sighed slightly, most likely out of relief, with that Ichi turned and started to head into the village; he had to get the clues from the Jounin throughout the village, so starting in the center would be the logical place to start. There where a number of people who Ichi thought would have clues about the location of the exams. With that Ichi headed into the village.

Ichi wondered into the training ground, he was still looking for Someone, but in truth he was mainly here because, 1 there was a good chance he would be able to find someone here, and two; seeing as how it was a Canyon; there was a good deal of shade meaning it was one of the coolest places in the whole village; which after such a long trip was something that sounded very nice indeed.
As Ichi walked into the training Canyon he continued to look for anyone; the only Jounin he knew about that he hadn't talked too was Shiki; but he hadn't seen her in quite a while.

Shiki Nohara  Shiki was here, alright, but was watching from one of the plateaus up nearby and had dropped silently and soundlessly right next to Ichi-te and glowered down at him with her towering, terrifying height, and soul less black orbs that penetrated through his soft, violet ones; the woman hadn't changed a bit. Even after getting a new kage, a sexist at that, she still hadn't changed her demeanor even in the slightest bit along the way...
"Ichite," retorted the bug kunoichi coolly as she folded her arms and stared down at him with dark, glass-like eyes, "I trust the days have been treating you well? I hear-talk that you've been under alot of stress lately... Regardless, it's a pleasure to see you again, Ichite-ru. I take it you're here for that clue on where the next chunin exams will be held, yes?"
She worked fast; caught on quick. But then, with the reflexes and senses she had, this was nothing new to her as she stood right next to him and waited for his response, her eyes ever-studying the boy as she stared down at him from a great height.
Although, she had to admitt... He had gotten rather tall now, to the point where he was up to her shoulders instead of her waist...

As Ichi entered the Training Canyons at first he didn't see anyone that would be any help to him at the moment, but after a but more searching He saw Shiki' the Ninja that had once been his, Kazuki and Kyou's Jounin. "Ohhh H-hello Shiki" Ichi said looking up at her; He didn't notice how much he had grown; but Shiki was no longer so tall he would have to crank his neck back in order to look at her; he actually only needed to tilt his head back slightly now. "Yeah.... I've been fine" Ichi said nodding slightly as he said this to the Jounin who stood before him. "I was w-wondering... do you have any clue's or Idea's about where the Exams would be?" Ichi asked with his head still tilted slightly to the side, as well as his arms in there normal position; but it seemed now that they remainder there out of reflex, and not as a defense.
"Also... Do you have any idea where I m-might find anyone else with a tip?" He said still looking up at the Jounin. "Ive.... run out of ideas..."

Shiki Nohara "..." Shiki stared at the boy for a while, before cracking her neck and looking over at the village with a piercing gaze that looked as though she were ready to eat a baby or two, "... I do. But none that would tell you where it is..." she said, before looking back at him with fierce, coal-colored eyes, "However, I do know a place that might help you on your search for the chunin exams... It's not far from here, actually. It's a bar called the 'Scorpian's Tail'. Perhaps it might assist you in solving a few things; I hear, though, that it's with puppet users. Perhaps... I should come along with you?" asked Shiki as her eyes changed color and directed themselves toward the light that would lead them to the bar, "Believe me, it wouldn't be much trouble if I were to help you on this, Ichite. It is, after all, the least I could do for you as your jounin," said Shiki with a nod as she gazed down at him with multicolored eyes which refracted light everynow and then.
Not that she didn't mind going with him; she just looked for an excuse to do something around these parts that didn't involve her doing menial work such as paperwork or meditation, which seemed to be the only thing she had been doing for so long just as soon as they usurped Tanto as the Kazekage...
'I can't wait until you fit into your Grandfather's shoes, Ichite,' thought Shiki with a scowl, 'Because as sooner you do, the sooner that racist a*****e will get booted off his high horse...'

"A.... bar?" Ichi asked tilting his head slightly; normally Ichi wouldn't even be allowed into a bar due to his age, but if Shiki went with him then; that most likely wold cover that issue; after all there was a high chance that She would out rank any of the people who where there; seeing as how she was already high enough rank to have her own Genin Team. Which meant she was the upper level of Jounin. "Thank... you" Ichi said giving Shiki a slight smile; it wasn't very large; but it was a smile non the less; something Shiki had never seen Ichi do before' and in truth he had done very rarely up until a few Days ago.en
Ichi then followed Shiki as she started to lead the way towards th bar known as the scorpions tail, after all Ichi couldn't lead the way; seeing as how he had no idea where it actually was...

Within every illusion, there is reality"  As Akeru made it to the training canyons, a thought crossed her mind. You always saw a bunch of academy students and genin training there, and even a few chunin, but she never saw any jonin training at the canyon. Actually, she never saw jonin training at all, unless they were training someone else. It puzzeled her; when one reached jonin, did they become such an elite killing machine that it would be too dangerous for them to train in such an area? Or maybe it was so that they could keep their techniques a secret. Maybe once you got to so high a rank, you didn't need training anymore and you only improved yourself by finding special scrolls and stuff... Well, no matter what the truth was in that matter, the truth here was that Four was nowhere to be seen. "Helloooo! Four, are you around here somewhere? .......Hmm, I gues not..."She figured it would be best to look somewhere else for him, maybe somewhere where there were more adults.
