 CallieThe tapping was coming from the small egg.
A small chip of the egg broke off, and a tiny blue eye looked out from inside.
The egg suddenly rolled on its side as the baby Pokemon struggled.
"Nyuuuuu!" A tiny voice cried from inside.
The eggs shook and cracked, eventually splitting apart.
A tiny Sneasel sat up from where she lay, a large chunk of eggshell on top of her head.
As her feathers uncurled, it was revealed that they were actually leaves.

The Umbreon leapt back in alarm as the egg shattered open and once the small Pokemon had broken free he stepped forward cautiously.
"...well...hello there...little sister~" Xavier leaned forward to flip the remaining egg shell off the Sneasel's head.
"Arent you just adorable."

CallieThe little Sneasel looked up at Xavier, purring softly.
She was about to say something when her eyes quivered a little.
She let out a tiny sneeze, which in turn sent a few flakes of snow into the air.
Well, it seemed she was still an Ice type.
She just didn't look it.

Hrm, very odd. The little Pokemon looked very sunshine-y and spring-like, but it was still Sneasel.
Either way, he felt an extreme sense of guardianship. Overprotective older brother instincts kicking in.
"Are you cold? Is that why you sneezed?"
...Yes, Xavier. The Ice type was cold...try not to-
"I'll get you a blanket!"
-freak out. Moron.
The Umbreon scurried to the nearby closet and tugged a sheet loose from the top shelf. He moved back over to the little baby and tossed it over her head.
There we go!

 Callie---&--- LucyCallie sat there with the blanket on her head, wondering why it suddenly got darker.
She began to crawl around, dragging the blanket along with her.
Suddenly, the door burst open, and Lucy was standing there.
"Mama senses are tingling! Where is she?!" She squeed.
She then looked at the crawling blanket and blinked.

Xavier looked up in alarm when the door suddenly swung open.
He immediately lifted a paw to point at the crawling baby under the blankets.
"She...erm...she was cold?"

Callie---&--- LucyLucy giggled and lifted the blanket, scooping up the little Sneasel and smothering her face with kisses.
"She's so cute! My little Calliope!" She sang happily.
Callie, short for Calliope, simply curled up in her mother's arms, purring contently.

"...Cantelope?" The Umbreon cocked his head to the side. Why name the kid after a fruit? Well, sure...she was kinda plant-like but still that didnt make any-Ohhhh, Calliope.
Nevermind.
"Erm...can we shorten that to Callie?" The name was...rather complicated.

Callie---&--- LucyLucy was nuzzling Callie lovingly when her pager went off.
The Weavile sighed and cursed the heavens.
"Mierda. Look after her, take her to the courtyard or something for me, will you mijo?" She asked Xavier.
She didn't even wait for an answer.
She set Callie down next to Xavier and ran off to work.
Callie, almost instinctively, wrapped her arms around Xavier's leg.

Mitch and Cadarl exchanged glances, and they somehow decided without speaking that it was time to leave the hospital. Hell, no one on their team had even gotten hurt.
So, Cadarl took the liberty of picking up Vienna (Mitch was still a bit iffy about having a girl on their team) and they all walked out, not quite sure where they were going.

Nyte burst through the double doors in an almost frenzied panic with Fire on his back, he quickly sputtered out some nonsense about a crazy Mightyena and the nurses all grimaced. They knew that a*****e all too well.
Fire was quickly taken from his back and rolled into a room on a stretcher.
"There...there is a Sceptile coming as well. He is in far worse condition!"
A Chansey nodded to him and rushed out the door to meet Mugen as he came stumbling in.
So disoriented was he, that when a nurse asked for the Flareon's name he gave her real one rather than 'Fire'.
She was gonna kick his a** afterwards.

Apparently a hoard of Chansey just having to be waiting for his arrival as he stumbled through the door, Mugen let out a slew of profanities as he watched Fire being rolled away. He tried to struggle from being subdued but in his condition he was no match as he was laid out on a stretcher of his own, a few well timed shots of painkillers taking care of the rest as he was carried off. Fortunately, the staff being pressed for time when it came down to saving both of their lives, the two ended up in the same cramped room, the nearest place they could both be treated for their injuries. As of now only a curtain separating the still out cold Flareon from the grass type who was being prepped for surgery directly next to her.

The Absol paced outside the door anxiously, finally after what felt like hours when it did open, he nearly assaulted the Chansey who stepped out.
"They will both be fine. Let them rest." She shooed Nyte out the hospital and the dark type trudged off with his tail and head lowered.
By then Fire had stirred awake, multiple blankets tossed over her to help her body tempature move back up.
Luckily she wasnt at that spontaneous combustion point.
"You feeling alright, Elizabeth?" One of the nurses asked and the Flareon sat up with a snarl.
"WHAT DID YOU CALL ME?!"

Just waking up also, Mugen examined over his now nearly completely bandaged body, an even more tight wrap holding his left arm firmly in place indicating that it may take a tad bit longer to heal than the rest of his minor (in his mind) battle wounds. From the looks of it he was coherent just in time for a visit from a nurse, oh joy...But to his surprise the Chansey wasn't there to visit him instead whoever his roommate was that was still blocked out of view via curtain. After a few words were exchanged, of which he heard all, a familiar raging voice caught his attention. He would have jumped out of bed at that moment if it wasn't for the fact that the name 'Elizabeth' was used. Eh, he must have just been hearing things though. The sudden feeling of deja-vu was at least enough to get him to his feet and back on the hunt for Fire, some recently implanted stitches most likely tearing out as he scudded awkwardly for the doorway, figuring the front desk would be the best place to start his search.
