Alex nodded her head, she turned around and went back into the dressing room and closed the door again, she looked at herself one more time in the mirror then changed back into her regular clothes, she drapped the dress over her arm and walked out of the dressing room again.

Tao glanced up at Alex, his cheeks a good shade of pink. The dress looked wonderful on Alex. Quickly he hid his face again and took the offered clothing.
"Thanks for the offer. I may take you up on it.",he said looking up with his usual smile, the pink from his cheeks had faded by then. His gaze went to Alex who had come out just then. "You'll make the Queen herself jealous with such a dress!"

"It was meant as a compliment. . .",Tao smiled weakly. Alex just never seemed to like his compliments. Like when he called her little, did she not like looking and feeling young?

"Oh....sorry." Alex said, Stupid!, she mentally slapped herself, she walked over to Tao and smiled, trying to cheer him up, "In that case, thank you."

Tao just chuckled at Alex and gave her a nod. "No problem.",he smiled, tilting his head. "You should head off to bed, it's really late.",he said standing and placing a hand on her shoulder. Gently, he guided her to the blue room quietly.

Alex did feel kinda tired, she rubbed her eyes as she followed Tao to the blue room.

Marcie hated being such a bad host but for some reason she just could not help it lately, she needed to inspect the security systems of the castle to see if there had been any modifications lately and what better time than the 'delivery' of the dresses, but before that she would bring some tea to Matt, that boy was really going to get anemia if he kept this tea-only 'diet' of his.
Marcie Went in to Matt's room unannounced and placed a tray of Nighty-Night Tea (a blend of Chamomile, Damiana, Catnip, Lavender, Oatstraw and Bach Flower Essences) and some sandwiches on the night table "You will catch a cold if you sleep like that" Marcie said brushing her fingertips softly against Matt's hair.

Matty sighed, and looked at Marcie. "Marchy, do you think that..maybe...I could...." He looked away, "Nevermind, it's foolish..." He sat up and took a cup of tea. "Why are you so...motherly to me?" he asked. His white hair was in his eyes. His hat was off for the first time in a long time.

"umm.." she blushed a little bit, she had always trough of him as his little brother thou maybe it was getting unnecessary to act in such a way, he was a teenager now and more-less could take care of himself but she had taken care of him for at least 8 years now, it was kind of hard to let go "It's just an old habit i guess" it was not like that was the only reason but she could not quiet figure out anything else to say "You might not remember but when your mother died 8 years ago i kinda became attached to you, it was not like you where alone since uncle Hater was still alive but, somehow, it just felt right to take care of you a little bit, i am sorry if you feel like it is not my place to do that" Marcie looked at the floor, and well, she needed not to mention what happened 4 years after that.

Matt ran his hand through his white hair, "I just wanted to say thanks. I really appreciate it." He smiled at Marcie. "So when is this ball?"

Tao opened the door and led her to the bed so she could lay down. Once in her bed, he tucked in Alex and smiled,"Get some sleep, we're going to be prre-tt-y busy tomorrow~",he said before morphing into his feline form. "Remember, I'm but a call away if you need me."
And with that his small form faded.

Alex smiled after Tao faded, she closed her eyes and rolled over on her side, she fell asleep quickly after that.
Rabbit lied down on his bed after kicking his shoes off and taking his hat and glasses off.He closed his eyes a drifted into slumber.

Marcie just smile, melancholy was no good but she couldn't help it, aunty had been the person who taught her to cook and sew and that had saved her from the darkness within her but this was no time for memories she started her new sentence still looking at the floor" I really love you, i am sorry if i am overprotective at times, I'll try to stop looking at you like a child" she needed to get out of there before she started hugging him, or worse, "I will be out tonight, i need to Deliver Maria's dress" Marcie stated getting up, she walked to the door and turned around to give Matt a mischievously enigmatic smile "The ball is tomorrow night, i will be looking forward to it" and then she closed the door

Matt pretended to fall asleep. AFter a while, he stood up, and started to pace. The way that she said that was very weird, he thought. Hmm, maybe she's having second thoughts about her mission....He sighed, and looked at himself in the mirror. Putting on the act of "mad" hatter took a toll on him. He put his hair back and took out all of the piercings. He looked at himself, afraid of what he saw. He saw himself a few years ago, back when he didn't have this job.
