Artemis rolled her eyes. " This is where all of you are and I want to hear the story behind these people. As for why Apollo's here it's because I don't trust him alone when he has a hangover. I mean do you seriously want to come back to Olympus and find out he's been in everyone's rooms? Besides I left my dogs here if you'll remember. "

Jasmine nodded. "Uh, yeah. If Pan's still ticked off at us, and I'm pretty sure he still is for invading his secret grove or whatever it was, maybe he'll get his revenge soon." The little faun closed his eyes sleepily and yawned.

Sage smiled when she noticed Arwa had fallen asleep. She gently handed him over to Delilah who was by the bed. " Here you go Delilah."

Markos just stood in the hut thinking. "So... we're in the time of the Trojan War... Just f***** super..." he said out loud, but not too loud. "Hey wait a second," he said looking at Sage. "Wasn't there a god of time or something like that...? Kronos, right?" he hadn't really learned about Greek mythology, at least not about Kronos being a bad guy.

Sage shook her head. " Not gonna work Markus. Ask Flicker for the details. She knows the story better than I do."

"Flicker...? Alright... Hey, Flicker, how did the story go with Kronos and everything?" he asked her, still on the Kronos theory.

"Kronos has really gone to pieces recently." Hermes said as he looked uneasily at Apollo, who was somewhat dishevelled in appearance. "However if you can find a piece of him willing to listen to you, you're welcome to try." Turning his head to Artemis Hermes whispered, "Reckon he needs another bucket?"

Flicker shook her head at Markus. "No dice man. He's chopped up in a million pieces, and was thrown into the deepest, darkest pit of Tartaros. I highly doubt he had anything to do with this. I can tell you the whole deal about how he got there later, okay? We really have to take care of that sacrifice, you know?"

Artemis eyed her brother before nodding at Hermes. " Probably wouldn't hurt knowing him."

As Hermes left the room to fetch a bucket, Delilah, voice quiet so as not to wake Arwa, whispered, "When we do make the sacrifice to Pan, will he accept it?"

Markus asked Delilah, "How did you guys make... Pan... angry?"

Sage shrugged her shoulders. " We can only hope so. As for the story ask Flicker." She said quietly.

"I wonder... " he started to say but then stopped. "Hey, are nymphs under protection of Pan? Because those guys were mad..." He shook his head slightly. He was surprised that none of the soldiers were coming up to him and asking him where he got what he was wearing.

Hermes returned with a bucket in his hands and an unfamiliar dog at his heels. This youthful dog was white, powerful yet graceful, and wore black spot markings over its pelt. "Shoo.." Hermes said as the dog sniffed at his feet, "Artemis, call off Leodes- I don't like the way he's sniffing around my feet."

Artemis chuckled and snapped her fingers at her dog. " Leodes come here." The dog trotted over to her side. " Sit." It wouldn't do for her dogs to drive Hermes off when he was the only one who helped her when Apollo got drunk or was willing to babysit her dogs.
