Aurelia shook her head. "Acutally, I enjoy your company. But, if you have something to do, you can leave if you want." His presence was comforting, even if her heart ached. "It will take some time for me to get over it, but I will." She tried to reassure him. Not wanting to go any further with the topic she picked up her soup, testing to see if it was still too hot for her. "How's your jaw? Feeling better?"

Jay shook his head. “No, I have no where else I’d rather be. To be honest, I kind of am enjoying spending time with you” He said as he smiled, still not quite right. “My jaw, its... ok I guess.” He laughed softly picking the bottle of pain killers out of his pocket. “I kind of took one more than the required dose but, I really needed it.” He put the bottle back into his pocket.
Slowly he moved closer to Aurelia taking one of her hands in his. “I heard that well, we’re supposed to be putting on a winter ball soon.” He said as he looked away letting go of her hands. “I was well... wondering if maybe... You’d want to...” He cleared his throat as he rubbed the back of his hand against his forehead; he was sweating more than anything. Why? He was just asking a girl he cared about out. That shouldn’t be that hard? But, he was still a child and he was nervous as hell. “Maybe... Go with me?”

Tai looked up and shook his head. "No, no, it's my fault. I should've been more cautious." Taking the hand he pulled himself up, with her help of course, and adjusted his glasses a bit. Studying her with a slightly more keen eye that only teachers seemed to have... except the young ones. Although, he didn't have that eye yet, he could at least pretend he did. After all, he did look up the student roster, and could identify her since she was also a court member. "No, I don't think you would've recognized me. I was long gone by my sophmore year." He took off his glasses and wiped them off. "So, I hear the schools annual Winter Ball is coming up. Are the Court members setting it up?" Ken slid down the wall to a sitting position, one leg at an angle, the other straight out in front of him. Most of the time, he and Riku played a game, but Ken had no control over what game it was. However, his favorite game that they played was Soul Calibur, and recently, he had found himself playing it. Even when Riku was not around. "I like playing the fighter games... I think that's what they're called." Riku didn't quite know what time it was, but he was pretty sure it was either 8, or almost 8. He was grinning as he laid his back on the concrette roof, looking up at the looming dark clouds above. He tried picking out the stars behind them, or at least spotting them. Aurelia knew more about the stars than he did, so generally, he'd find them, and she'd name it... if she could. He grinned and continued to wait, he had too much to tell today to leave. And Riku waited. Before long, an hour had passed and she had yet to show up. Riku, having become bored with his game, took a soccer ball that had been lost on this roof and began juggling it, and he also worked on his foot work. When that was exhausted, he practiced his shooting on the fence until someone from below told him to stop. Another hour passed, and it had begun to snow heavily once again. Shivering, he began to wonder: where was Aurelia? Did she get caught up in Court things? She wouldn't be this late if it what ever she was doing wasn't important. Not too long after the snow began, his nose had begun to run, and he was huddling himself to try and stay warm. She'd show up eventually, she always did. He knew she would... A half hour passed, and by now, he had lost most feeling inside his fingers. He was really starting wonder where Aurelia was, and just how important whatever it was she was doing, actually was. He thought about calling her and asking where she was, and if she was even going to show. However, his phone had been broken, and he had no way of confirming. So he would just have to hold out until she showed up. He knew she would... she always did... (OOC: Urk... got a little carried away with Riku's post.)

Trey smirked as he told her what kind of games, fighter games huh? Perfect two player game. Seeing they had nothing else to do, and she knew he wasn't in a mood to talk, nor was it in his personality to hold a conversation for long.
"If you want to, you could play me." she shrugged as if saying, she was good to play any kind of game really, it having been a long time since she last played, it would be fun.. She thought.
"I mean, if you don't mind getting your a** handed to you by a girl.." she said jokingly, a slight smile on her face. She really just wanted to help make things as comfortable as possible.
Absent minded she reached up and combed her bangs with her fingers, her obvious obsession with her hair made clear from that action. God she hated having it looking like a 'rats nest' as her mother use to call it.

Ken nodded, getting up from his sitting spot and walked over to the PS3 that he had got as a gift from Riku's family. He rarely got gifts from his parents anymore, and most of the stuff in their room was Riku's. All he ever got was a five hundered dollars a month as spending money, and frankly, if they just wrote him a letter every once in a while...
What did it matter anyway? He just wanted to play a video game. Putting in Soul Calibur IV and handing Trey a controller, he sat down and went to versus. When a thought occured to him, both he and Riku had a custom character (although Riku helped Ken design his to be more suiting), Trey did not. He looked over at her and asked, "Do you... want to create a character?"

Trey shrugged, she never really played any of the soul caliber games. The only fighting games she had experience in was Teken and Dark Stalkers, along with the Nintendo Mortal Combat, and arcade fighters such as street fighter..
"It doesn't matter, I haven't the pleasure of playing this one, so if you don't mind showing me.. "
She held the PS3 controller in her hand, wow it had been a while, she looked at the analog stick, along with the famous X O Triangle and Square. She shook her head, remembering the hours she use to stay up playing RPG and first person shooter games.

Ken nodded, and went on to the character selection, where he of course, selected his custom character, who looked so much like the real Ken, it was almost scary. Not only that, but his axe too, was the same as the one he used when he fought in real life.
Although, while his character looked mean and tough, Ken couldn't play worth a darn. He hadn't quite made the connection that a fighting game revolved around controlled button smashing, rather than strategically planned combo's (although those played a factor in it, too). "Try Maxi, or Riku's custom character, Ryelle. It's a good beginners character... or that's what he told me, anyway."

Trey nodded as she selected Maxi, not wanting to anger Riku for using his character she smiled, pressing the accept button as she tilted her head toward Ken. It was a little ironic the knight was telling the Queen how to play, she couldn't help but laugh at the situation, what would others say if they found out the two was playing a video game together? Talk about your awkward glances.
She smoothed her thumb over the controller, it felt weird in her hands, alien. It wasn't hers, and she could tell. It didn't fit comfortably in her hand like hers did from years of use. Even though she just had a PS2, the controllers where very similar.
"Okay, there we go then.. " she said in a unsure voice, she was sure she was about to utterly fail against Ken, how funny was it one who hates fighting, playing a fighting game. This yet again, caused the girl to shake her head with a slight chuckle.
After a few rounds of her getting a beat down, she looked at her watch. It was late, she widen her eyes as she stood. How did she let time pass her like this!? She laughed uneasily as she stood.
"Um.. It's late.. I should probably get going.." she really didn't want to, they where having so much fun! Which was surprising to Trey. She looked around the room, Riku still hadn't made his entrance, which she guessed was a good thing. At least Ken could keep his 'bad a**' persona.
Trey handed the controller back to Ken, smiling as she walked toward the door.
"It was fun, Ken.. Thank you.." She said, her voice sincere. She really did enjoy herself. (edit)

Ken looked up from his fiftenth victory. Playing against Trey was fun, he wasn't constantly beat down by Riku, and discovered that winning is really fun. Better than just playing and getting beaten. As Trey said it was time for her to go, Ken swallowed and took the controller, signing her out, and was ready to start another game.
Now normally, he'd watch the person leave, and continue what he was doing. However, something compelled him to give a more formal farewell this time. Unsure of what to do, he remembered what his brother would do. He'd simply wave. So, Ken decided he'd try that approach. Lifting his hand up to just eye level, he had to concentrate hard to get his mand moving in the proper directions... how his brother did it constantly, he'll never know.

Trey gave a look that said "what the hell.." she had never had someone just wave her bye before. Not standing two feet away from one another, she could tell it was a awkward move for him, this made her laugh on the inside.
She rose her hand, lifting two fingers, she waved back at him as she closed his door. Heading back to her dorm. She sighed, her mind blurring with thoughts as she traveled down the halls, not really caring if any facility caught her or not. She was already in trouble as it was, maybe she could talk her way out of it... She was good with words at times, when needed..
Once she got to her dorm, she looked left then right.. Was this really the right door? Wait, where was the door? Her eyes widen as she walked over the pile of ash. This wasn't right.. The other bed was occupied by blankets, the second desk cluttered by someones belongings.. She had a roommate.. What the hell, when did that happen!?
Fear rose in Trey as she walked through the room.. Had they touched her things, and what was up with the rope on the others bed? Just what kind of freak did they board her with!?
Trey had half a mind to go back to Ken and Riku's room and ask if she could crash in the floor, because what lay in front of her was horrifying to her.

"Umm..." Aurelia looked to the floor, thinking about what had just been set before her. Her reasoning followed that it would be okay, that it would be nice to go with Jay. Even if she had to patrol around the dance to make sure all students were acting appropriately and to avoid any trouble, she could still have fun with a date. But... "Jay, I'm sorry...." Her voice trailed off as she replied. "I would go with you, I honestly would. But, right now...I have some things to sort out." Finishing her chicken noodle soup she set it aside to the nightstand and stood up, finally gathering the courage to face Jay. "I'm sorry, but I can't go...with you as a date." Aurelia then saw the time in her peripheral vision; time to do dorm check.((Still, T3rran, nice post. ^^))

Jay rolled his eyes and turned away heading for the door. “Yeah... Sure... I understand.” Stopping at the door he sighed loudly. “You remind me of someone Aurelia... His name is Nex, after his girlfriend died; he turned out just like you. Scared of making a commitment, go to the one you really love Aurelia. The one you truly care for... He should be on the roof waiting for you.” With that he closed opened the door and slammed it shut. ((I'm testing something here Kuno, tell me if you get my reference... Please?))

Finally, Riku was unable to resist the cold and despite his valiant effort at holding out for as long as he did, and no matter how hard he tried to convince himself, Aurelia wasn't going to show tonight. Thus, his waiting had been in vain. He got himself off of the wall he used to sit on, broken and battered, that he had been stood up today. However, not all was as well as he thought it was. He knew his fingers were numbed out, but he hadn't expected his legs to be so weak from the cold snow that melted on his jeans. So rather than taking a few steps forward, he took one, then fell face first into the snow. He tried to move his hands, but they were also too weak from the same effect. And now, he felt tired, his eyes become heavy, and his head became light. He tried to resist, he needed to get inside, and he knew it. But, he could not. He let out a half hearted laugh, and muttered, something incoherient clinging to what little concious he had left within him.

Trey sat down on her bed, looking at the what should be door. She felt like crying, felt like her privacy had been destroyed. How was she suppose to sleep now?! With the constant worry of someone walking though the door, who isn't her roommate? And not only that, but where was this roommate? Who was she?
She walked to her computer, looking up the list of current students. Clicking on the one that was located under her dorm.. Mandy.. A busty blue haired teenager, her chest looked like two balloons that where about to pop. She couldn't help but laugh at the thought.
She sighed as she then opened her email. She needed to write her letter of absence to the school board, so she began. Explaining that due to her condition (Which the school knows about) she had passed out in one of the stalls of the girls bathroom, just having woken up she realized that she missed all her classes. She requested her missing assignments and pressed send. It was a sucky excuse she knew, but hopefully her vain attempt would not go unseen.

Aurelia stood with her eyes wide after Jay had slammed the door. He... It took her a while, but it came to her. He is... Without her knowing her feet ran forward, and she opened the door and ran out into the hallway. Closing the door behind her she continued to run, passing by Trey. "Ask Mandy." She said simply, not slowing down as she ran past the Queen of the Black Knights.
As she made her way to the staircase she saw the faces of other students staring at her, the Queen still in her pajamas, as they made their way to their dorms to make it in time for curfew. However, she didn't care. Ignoring the murmurs and snickering of others she began to skip steps, wanting to get up to the roof as quickly as possible. But, in her current condition, it wasn't long before she was running out of breath. This is pathetic... Aurelia thought, summoning a wind and riding on it, forming it into a board on the way up. She didn't know why she had received that text message, and who had really sent it. Right now, she didn't have enough time to think about that, knowing that the snow was falling outside.Impossible...he's still...
Opening the door to the roof she saw Riku lying in the snow, wet and obviously affected by some time in the cold weather. "Riku!!" Riding forward she stopped and knelt beside him, not minding the cold snow melting through her clothes. Focusing she summoned a warm wind around them, gently flipping him over and hugging him for the sake of body heat. "I'm sorry..."
