Core heard and felt a gear grind and he grit his teeth, waiting for the pain to go away, "It is Chiasa. It's important to me. What were you doing?" He asked after a moment.

Barick got out of the bathroom. He was still half wet and his towel was around his waist again. He headed back to his bedroom, passing by the living room again.

"Not much..." Core said in reply, "Can you tell me more about him? I only heard bits and pieces of it when you were talking about him to Aislin."

Chiasa nodded and then looked down. "He was a Guardian, like me, except his growth stopped much later than mine. I met him not long after my parents died, and we traveled around together, watching each other's backs. He was my best friend."

Aislin walked out of the kitchen with her slightly burnt Omelet, she was in the middle of taking a bite of it when she saw Barick. She nearly swallowed her fork, and turned bright red. "BARICK!!! What the hell are you doing in nothing but a towel?!"
Gab jumped to his feet surprised by Aislin's sudden yelling.

Aegina woke up and giggled at the sight of Barick and Aislin.
"I was showering..." Barick said calmly and his face turned red slightly in embarrassment. He kept on walking and headed upstairs.
