Ha! 3nodding I am not sure which I should be either. mrgreen
But I'm going to give her RP a shot anyway, see where it goes. She wants to just come up with a setting and then do alot of sandboxing before letting the plot take over. XD

I hope so as well rolleyes I really do not mind role-played intercourse as part of a campaign. It can be fun, and add a great relationship and/or drama subplot. When it's handled correctly.
But it's GOTTA make sense as far as the campaign goes, and not become a distraction from everything else.

Agreed. Which is why I usually don't include romances in mine. I've met very few people that can handle them. My girlfriend RPs too, and we don't even include romances when we play together.

From personal experience, trying to put a romance into a campaign is like trying to put the plastic square in the triangle-shaped hole. It doesn't work, usually because it's either "not tasteful", or if it's done TOO well, it completely dominates the RP, and everyone seems to forget about what they were supposed to be doing in the first place.
I think the best story-based "bow chicka wow wows" are ones that you can just say happened; leave it to everyone to decide what you did exactly, if that's what they want to do. Kind of like "the noodle incident".
That's not to say that the juicy romances aren't needed at all, just that more often than not, if the romance itself isn't the main subject of the RP, the details aren't as necessary.
