We never said it was Corporate Sector... Sectors are political units created by the Galactic Empire... in order for the sector capital to be neutral it must have declared independence. They probably have trade agreements and extradition treaties between each other, but I doubt they'd have coalesced into a single government. This isn't to say these independent planets don't have major naval forces as part of their self defense and security.
Case in point: The Sepan Civil War was fought between two planets in a single star system (That spilled over into the rest of the sector). One of those planets somehow owned and operated an MC40 Calamari Cruiser around a dozen Nebulon Bs and B-2s, fielded hundreds of star fighters and etc...
Cellana itself probably field a number of ships for its own defense, and considering the local Corporate ownership of its moon, I'd say they probably own quite a few Loronar Products. Can anyone say Strike-class Cruisers for their self defense and security patrols?

PM me so we can discuss this. I had a lot of work put into this, and I'd be crushed if it was scrapped

Hey stellar, heres an idea. Let us know this s**t. Sorry, thats not big enough. Let us know this s**t. Put your cards on the table. All of them. I sick of this out of the loop crap,
You want to fancy this yours and Cales little project, go the hell aheld, but you need to remember that there are others working on this too.
If your not ready to, then make your own rp, and request permission to host it in the guild.
I'm sorry if I'm being an a*****e, but I'm really getting annoyed about working on stuff, then finding it it doesnt matter anymore, and that we, are irrelevant, as EK said.
THIS GOES FOR YOU TOO CALE.

Eh, I see this as more of a lack of communication between parties. People who want to help aren't communicating with each other.
I know I mentioned on a post a while back that I was willing to help, and noone said anything saying I couldn't, or that the information was already being worked on.
So, I dunno. Maybe we should all just stop what we're doing and fiure out who's doing what, before Nelo decides we're being idiots and cancels the RP before it even gets moving.

I pointed this out in my PM to EK about his setup. The Sector Rangers are independent from the Government of most sectors, much like the BSS is. One of their primary powers is the ability to deputize both local police and military in pursuit of a criminal. This includes both the New Republic and Imperial Navy! You don't need a ton of independent neutral policy when you can deputize my Task Force when you need it!

I think I said that when we first suggested the Sector Rangers for his character.
BTW: All squadron formations are 12 ships in Star Wars. Ignore everything you've seen in EAW.

This is the development of an fledgling independent sector, as such theres nothing saying they do not have an SDF they have invested in, nor that they have already had. After the Empire packed up and left 12 or so years ago, that left both the SR and the local government defenseless more or less, you retreated back to your vacation planet and left Cellana to rot, fearing the New Republic, and here they are. Do you still expect to police a Sector along with the New Republic WHILE fighting a war with them? Both sides would point and laugh at the Rangers for requesting a ship to tackle a pirate base or whatever.

Des there are records of it occurring, and even reports of joint operations between the New Republic and Empire to combat warlords and piracy arranged by the local theater commanders, without approval of the higher ups. In fact I was hoping you'd do it... You're gonna need me when Cale's Terrorist starts blowing things up.
I was plotting it out so that me and my task force (Perhaps without EK who might be more loyal to the Empire than his commander) defect after having some joint operations with the New Republic after being deputized by the Rangers... That's my endpoint for the RP... EK may be the loyalists among my crew and be one of the ones that leaves the ship, that'll be up to him.
