"Damn Vampires.." Quint silently spoke to herself, squirming underneath Ryukinzo. "So quick...I guess that's a perk of being semi-dead.."
Surprised by his lust for her blood, Quint moved about more, trying to find something to use. Her hands were bound, so she couldn't use Alchemy, or her skills, but her bats were free. So far they hadn't proven as useful as Quint would have hoped, maybe now however they can be of great assistance. A sortie was given out, and her frown turned upside down as the two were slowly being risen into the air. Once off the ground, they accelerated upwards into the sky, and once the desired height was reached, both plummeted.
If she were going to be bitten, like the tingling feeling in her neck told her, then she'd do it without seeming so...helpless.

For a moment, the Vampire thought he would have his way, but he froze as they arose into the sky. Still fully secured on her body, he turned his head to quickly scan the area around him, just in case anything else strange was going on. Now seeing that things were okay, he prepared to snap down...
Ryu jerked his head to the side as soon as they began to dart towards the earth. But with swift thinking, his wings jetted out of his back, making holes in the back of his shirt in the process, and used them to catch the wind, causing the two beings to slowly float down.
When they landed, Ryukinzo was laying on top of Quint with a devilish grin slapped onto his face. Within a matter of seconds, the Vampire shoved his fangs into the female's neck and drained just a bit of her blood. He soon released his entire body from hers and whipped away the red liquid from his lips with the back of his wrist. Ryu was hoping that the bite didn't cause any transformation. He still wanted to see more of her skill before he became her master. "We done?" he asked with a smirk.

With the same wild grin that Ryu wore, Quint rubbed her neck tenderly. Being bitten wasn't as painful as most led her to believe. Also, that need for a certain red liquid wasn't present, Quint a little grateful for that.
"I suppose we are.." She spoke, rising to her feet. Quint then took a moment to look at the vampire, seemingly judging him. With a knowledgeful hum, Quint asked, "You know...I'm about to head over to a...friend's house, and I was wondering if you could maybe give me some assistance.." She went on to tell him about her mission, and how Rioushu needed to be killed for the mission to be fulfilled.
"Want to come?" She smiled wickedly.

Ryukinzo's fangs reverted to its natural size, and he stepped up in front of the female. He then gazed into her eyes, attempting to scan for any tricks. He had become victorious in battle a few times by staring into someone's eyes to see what they were up to. Though it rarely works for him, he figured it wouldn't hurt to try. He could tell Quint was up to something, but he wasn't sure if it mainly involved him or not. Realizing how bored he would be if he stayed, he decided to tag along. The man looked up at the moon and licked his lips. "Alright. I'll come," he stated without emotion.

gunyo puffed his pipe as he strolled through the akumu forest, the wind singing through the branches of the trees, as the sunlight stabbed through the leaves to the forest floor.
" such a tranquil place, not a sign of anyone" he said out loud to himself as he came to a stop, settleing down between the roots of a particularly large tree
*i wonder why no ones here, on such a busy island?* he thought to him self as he got his book out of his coat and started to read, a favoured passtime he hadnt had a chance to indulge in since landing on the island...

~~~~~ Wispy fog and humid air was the forest's forecast, and wandering inside was Quint. Calmly he snapped twigs under his feet during his walk, hardly stopping, until he reached a large tree. Facing the large oak, Quint gave it a clean kick with a leg, frowning upon his bats' automated protection of his body. "It's not always a bad thing to be hurt." One wouldn't call this scolding from the tone of his voice, but his moral was understood.
Dizzy
Dizzy tilted her head up to look at the path in front of her. It was simple dirt, trodden smooth from the passage of countless feet before she'd arrived. A slight breeze gusted around her, running invisible hands through her hair as she stared into the sun-spackled depths of the forest. she'd always had a soft spot for forests, such natural repositories of nature's wonders. Here were places of solitude and tranquility, where one could get away from the noise and vibrant emotions of everyday life. Moving forward, she entered the forest at a casual pace, solemnly placing one foot in front of the other as she ventured deep into the forest. Once she crossed the threshhold and felt the cool shadows play over her form, she sighed with relief, a conditioned response from many long days of peaceful solitude. As she walked deeper into the wooded area, she noticed that there was justa hint fo fog, that hadn't been boiled away by the heat of the sun. The moisture in the air lent her breath a humid bouquet which subtly carried the delicate scents of rotting wood and vegetation, and animal life. Breathing seeply, she smiled, and enjoyed the natural scenery. There was a small clearing just ahead, she slowed to a stop once she entered it. She stood still, her long blue hair slightly waving from faint winds, as the sun played out on pale ivory skin and sparse clothing. A dark grey-black tail swished slightly, and a pair of wings rustled at her back. Red eyes took everything around her inside of herself, they showed a slightly pained, yet hopeful expression that didn't quite make it to her mouth. She turned around where she stood, the wind playing over her as she let whim decide the path she'd take. Even though she was currently at peace with herself, her senses were dulled from the lackadaisical atmosphere she was indulging in. She didn't even notice there was already someone else in the forest, and not terribly far away, either.
It took a while for Quint's helpers to catch on, but once the bats did, they began to sit back, watching their master work. Taking a couple more blows to the trunk, the tree lost a few leaves from the force, they falling slowly to the ground. Catching one in his hand, Quint wondered how long it'd be before Morrigan returned. A part of himself said never, but he kept optimistic about her arrival, just like any good puppet would.
There was a slight sting in his leg, but it was ignored due to the itching in his nose.
"AAchooo!" Quint sneezed quite loudly.
Dizzy
Dizzy had been enjoying her walk in the woods, and let her feet make a path for her, wandering in whatever path she happened to go on. But as quiet and peaceful as her path was, the sudden disruption of it was all the more startling. When the huge sneeze erupted nearby, she yelped in surprise and whirled around to face it. That sounded like a person! She hadn't thought that there was anybody else nearby. Suddenly self-conscious, she glanced around, and wondered if she should see who'd made the noise. "Umm, is anyone th-there?" How dare they bother us! Destroy them! Let them be! The conflicting opinions tore at her for a moment, and in the end, she decided to at least take a look, see who it was. She poked her head out of the brush and saw Quint standing next to a slightly-battered tree trunk. She wasn't sure if she should draw attention to herself or not, so she just stood there.
(Pink is for Dizzy, Bold is for the dark wing, silver is for the white wing. The wings' voices are just in her head.)
Sighing, Quint dropped the held leaf. It wasn't that he didn't care for the lady, it was that he was exausted from waiting so long. Even thinking about her now didn't bring up the same wishful thinking.
There was something he missed most of all however: Their fights. Being a perv for most spars, Quint liked Morrigan best because she'd almost never turn down a good duel. On the island today, there weren't too many who liked the same, and that left Quint in a slump, he actually gaining a few pounds.
When his bats weren't helping out, they were scouts, looking and warning for any possible threats. It was really helpful for those "Jenova's Witnesses". Thus, they found Dizzy standing alone quickly, their master Quint turning a shoulder to face her.
He greeted her the same as any stranger: A quick "Hey", a smile, and a wave.
Dizzy
Dizzy watched the man for a moment, but then her attention was diverted to a bat. Aside from the fact that it wasn't night-time, there was something a little unusual about it. She couldn't place her finger on it, but something seemed different. She didn't even notice that it told Quint she was there until he greeted her. Startled once again, she hopped a little and turned to face him, stepping the rest of the way out of the brush and shrubbery. "Um, hi, sorry to bother you. I hadn't known there was anyone else here." Make them leave if you want to be alone so much! Maybe we should go? Dizzy listened to the voices, once again they couldn't agree. She wasn't surprised by that, they never agreed. Unfortunately, the black wing's voice was a bit stronger, calling up memories of the other times it'd been the dominant voice. Those were bad times, times when she had fought and fought and fought, even though she hadn't wanted to.
"Well, with the way things are.." Quint spoke, advancing on Dizzy, "It would be mostly safe to assume noone's here, but we got lucky." Smiling a bit, Quint could tell from the lady's shaky posture and wandering eyes that something had her doubting.
"..You okay? If someone's bothering you.."
Dizzy
Dizzy stepped back as she saw Quint approach. She still wasn't too comfortable around people, and in a place like this, where she had expected solitude, it was even more noticeable. It wasn't necessarily that she was afraid of socialization or people, but more she was afraid of what might happen. Not necessarily paranoia, but more a strong uncertainty of the future. She never knew when she could lose control or go berserk like she had the other times, and she didn't want to risk the chance at hurting other people just because they were close. The voice of the dark wing preyed upon this uncertainty, playing to her fears. You should scare him away, before something bad happens. You remember the blood, the taste of it against your lips, that crimson heat? Of course the dark voice had been the instigator of that particular instance, but it wouldn't mention that. You don't have to scare him away, it would be better to leave on our own. Dizzy shook her head a little, she didn't know which voice to listen to. With the two conflicting voices, her own opinions were always stunted, she usually had no choice but to listen to whichever voice was dominant at the time. And when they were equal, like now, she was lost in indecision. "Um, stay back... I'm very... scary...?" The dark voice took a momentary advantage, just enough for her to make a pitiable attempt at trying to scare Quint away. Downright laughable, in fact.
Now Quint crossed his arms, confused. It didn't take long to see that she had a problem with space, so he gave Dizzy some, taking a deliberate step back. Gazing into her eyes, Quint noted the ways at which her eyes moved, like she was getting two seperate orders, wanting to please both.
Her threat, while not even close to threatening, seemed forced, like she said it to appease. Quint would push to see what her motives were.
Uncrossing his arms, he shuffled his feet towards Dizzy, leaves and twigs tossed in the wake. "You must be, that I won't doubt."
"However, I'll need to hear a roar, just to make sure this isn't a bluff.."
Dizzy
Dizzy sighed with relief as he backed up, and a moment of peace washed over her. Maybe this could be settled easily, maybe they could just go their seperate ways and there'd be no need to further risk anything happening. But even as she thought this, he advanced again. He had seen right through her pitiful attempt at scaring him off, and from the way he stepped forward, she didn't know what would happen next. She got more and more nervous, and the dark voice took the opportunity to further impose it's will. He's not listening, he wants to attack and drive you away! He wants to keep you away from the forest, take you back to where all the people are! He wants to make it all happen, all over again. The blood will be on your hands, though, not his. Yes, it will be... all... your... fault... The light voice was almost silent, it knew that it would scarcely be heard anyways. But it did offer up a token resistance against the path of darkness. No... Dizzy shook her head, she didn't want to listen to the dark voice. But it was so insistent, she didn't have any recourse. Her head went still, then it whipped back up to stare at Quint. The innocence in her eyes had vanished, in it's place was a cold look best reserved for those who'd seen hell on earth. Her body posture had changed as well, it was obvious she was now easily ten to fifty times more self confident than she was just a moment ago. "I said I'm very scary, you miserable speck!"
