I'll be back online, Bomber. I tend to take breaks occationally.
Just so you two know, I use Toon Link and Kirby the most, Samus is my latest obession, and I also use Wolf, Fox, Marth, Ike, DK, Diddy, and Sonic. There are also times when I'm not all that serious, so don't get cocky just because of one or two victories. razz
Good Game, guys, btw. I always have fun battles around here.

Good fight friend. You still are formidable.
Seems kinda sad, as soon as someone else joins our little fight, my internet connection goes really bad. Talk about bad timing.... *sigh*
Here is hoping it starts working again tomorrow.
Edit: I figured at the last of our couple of bouts, your focus has slackened a bit. We shall battle some more another night then.

I'll admit I had fun. I was a little rusty since I haven't played in a few months. I was not liking the multiple trips to the spear pillar stage. Anyone who was fighting me could tell that I struggled with that stage. Maybe I just need to get rid of the rustyness...eh I'll see.
Meta knight is Hax...why do you think my brother uses him SO much. Though before Meta Knight he was kick a** with Bowser.

I get back on for a few more battles, see that people are still active, make a room, no one joins, I go see why, and everyone's off. Guess we all got tired around the same time. xp
I know I fought Mel last night, but I don't think I added you to my list, so I will have to do that.
Spear Pillar is one of my favorite stages. I just don't fight on it much because of all the chaos and distractions, but it is good for a full fledge free-for-all.
Honestly, I have only face two really good Meta Knight users. All the others I have fought where about as good with Meta Knight as they were other characters. Reason he is so good is because of his extremely high recovery abilities, and his very quick attacks backed up by average Priority. What I mean by quick is if two people did the same attack hitting the buttons at the exact same time, Meta Knight would always come out first. Regardless, he's still not unbeatable.
Anyway, if anyone wants to Brawl, just send me a PM. cool

Well I do have favorite stages...just Spear Pillar is not it. I love Castle Siege, Brinstar (glad they kept that melee stage), oh and I LOVE the WarioWare stage!

I just find it so much fun!~

WarioWare is probably my second most hated stage. Though it is fine some of the time, it is rarely ever fair to anyway. The worst thing to happen is you become Giga while everyone else is invincible.

I can't stand Spear Pillar. Such an annoying level, especially when putting up with Cressilia and Palkia. (Annoying boomerangs and time altering abilities can be very frustrating at times. ) A couple of other levels that tend to annoy me are Pork City, Hyrule Temple (both notorious for long drawn out gorilla warfare as well as turtling.), Warioware (Too chaotic for my taste) and the Donkey Kong Arcade level (This is just fun in its own right but for true competitive play, just isn't feasible.
Also Luther, I wouldn't call Metaknights priority average. After all, its really hard to counter both his tornado attack, forward drill attack and up B glide attack, especially when someone is spamming it. (not to say that I can't counter it, just those moves tend to always strike first when someone straight up attacks within the range of those attacks.)

I concur, I struggle sometimes, especially against an aggressive metaknight user, to lob eggs just to cancel out his many attacks. Though, I suppose a grossly unfair challenge is healthy now and again. It makes you act more resourceful. smile

I think my Boomarangs have a higher priority than your eggs do, which would explain why we stand of two different sides of this. Honestly, I can't think of any solid counters that I can use aside from Samus' projectiles. I am not goof with Snake, otherwise I could throw bombs into Meta Knight's own combos.
Edit: Soren says that a Boomarang wouldn't work. That bombs are the best way.
