If you mean they want to be considered on a higher plane, you would be right. If you meant they all wanted to be seen as equals, I'm afriad you would be wrong. Gods and demi-gods have powers that humans don't, I guess that means they think they are superior, or they just want to play with humans. I am the goddess of Chaos, people give me sacrifices so that I don't use my powers, instead of the other way around."

::walking with one hand on Chap's head, she thinks a moment before answering:: there's always going to be those who want power over others... and those who seek protection from those with more power... it's easy to let praise go to your head... and that people sacrifice to you to keep you from using your powers is almost the same as them asking your protection... ::shakes her head slightly:: it's all so confusing... i like things simple

::Belinda makes it to the temples, looking around, she sees one of all black, black marble, black fixtures, all the priests and priestesses wearing black robes, etc. This is the one she chooses to enter, brushing past the humans who try to stop her, because she's not carrying the right offering or wearing the appropriate clothing to enter. she walks in and calls out:: HEY!

Mariata smiled and chuckled. "I have a soft spot for foxes, they're extremely chaotic after all and I was born to love chaos. But, war is too much chaos for me, and besides, the war god is whiny and simpering once he is hurt." Mariata disliked many of her kin as many of them were selfish, rude, or idiotic. Belinda was different though.

Get your uptight, ugly, pathetic face down here now! ::her voice, though unheard by most of the city, would be felt by the whole city as a slight earthquake, followed by a much larger quake as the Goddess Belinda had been calling to appears with a resounding clap of thunder:: It's about time!
::the goddess that appears is all jet black, hair, skin, eyes, clothing, etc. She looks like a statue carved out of onyx come to life:: How dare you speak to me like that? What do you want? ::her voice sounds irritated, but due to the lack of destruction around her, she isn't angry at all.::
I need you to help me out. My father banished me to Asmera. I can't go home. So as revenge, I'm going to stop the wars. I need you to send some of the peaceful souls to the humans as they sleep to help guide them in the right direction.
Why would I want to stop this war? It provides me with more subjects in the underworld.
More work, too. Don't you want a rest? Some down time to relax and not worry about overseeing the whole underworld?
Only you would care about relaxing and downtime. Some of us have more important matters on our minds.
You know that I work just as hard as the next god. I also know that it's just as important to not work, and remember who you are.
::sighs:: I will think about it. ::dissappears with another clap of thunder and accompaning earthquake.::
::Belinda smiles happily and heads back to Ran's house, running into the two girls again, in an even better mood than when she left:: You two are still out? It's late.
