Grishelda had a shock face when she saw Alcyone appeared. Not only that, but Alcyone had stopped her attack and told her to retreat.
Anger and annoyed went through her veins as Grishelda bit her lips. She didn't want to leave. She didn't want the job to be undone. She didn't even want Synra to escape again.
Bitter by the order she was given, Grishelda gave a cold stare to Alcyone, even though she didn't mean it. She blurted flatly, "Understood."
Grishelda then turned her attention to Synra and cried out, "But not without her!!"
Grishelda teleported to where Synra stood. She took out her wand, which changed into a staff immediately, and waved the sleep spell over Synra. She could see Synra's eyes began to droop as Grishelda catched her and yelled to Alcyone. "Let's go"
Grishelda bitterly teleported with the sleeping Synra.

Of all the kinds of units that were to assist in perserving her life, it was two thieves and a lord. Truly, irony at its best. She would laugh if the situation wasn't so dire.
Nodding to the conditions and stumbling to her feet as soon as Roy gave her the opportunity, she gripped Luna's good arm tightly. It was foolish behavior, but she didn't want her given shield to vanish before her. Being alone and vurnable was a horrible feeling.
"You're wounded..." The shop woman stated as she spotted the bolt, it's fletching sticking from her arm like a small flag. Reaching over with her other hand, she quickly snapped the shaft in half. The point and some of the arrow was still inside the lady-thief (thus serving as a cap for the bleeding), but now the fletching's red color didn't make her a target, nor would the crest get caught on anything and deepen the wound.
She wanted to actually clean the girl's wound, but the shop woman had a feeling that it would be a bad idea to postpone their escape for a moment longer.
"...When we are safe..." She glanced over at Roy and Matthew as they prepared to fake a fight, then looked back to Luna. "... I will take care of you." It was the least she could do. ...After all, she was apparently in debt to everyone else.

"....Thank you." She said in response to the shop woman plan. She lead them to the only gate that was left open.

Alcyone gave a nod as her ally submitted herself to the order, but not without taking Synra with her. "It was meant to be, I suppose. Milady can fix her." She cringed as the thoughts crossed her mind, wondering if such a fate would ever befall her.
Before she also left, she turned back to the wounded laguz. Rather than capture her something told her to let the bird woman go. The morph's gaze traveled to the ground as she said a simple, "I'm sorry." With that she teleported after Grishelda and Synra.

And fly he did! There was a good reason why he was a thief, and that was because he did not enjoy sailing through the air without an enemy or Hector or Serra to land on and soften the blow.
As the top of the wall fast approached, he quickly realized that he wasn't going to clear it comfortably without some acrobatics. Holding his hands out, he deftly caught the wall and catapulted himself a good few meters past it on the other side and hit the ground running, with Roy's instructions well in mind, towards the hideout.

Tacitus watched Ikirru lead the faceless morphs as they were finishing up securing the premises. He turned around, and slowly began walking inside, unable to teleport in his current state. "............" He looked back, only once, as he pushed aside a thought, knowing that his goal was complete. ......Susan.... He continued on.

Roy sighed, seeing that Matthew had cleared the wall. He then turned and saw an injured Tacitus. He then approached the nomad, reaching into his bag for an elixer. "Here...this'll take care of those wounds." he said, passing Tacitus the elixer before heading inside.

Tacitus ignored the boy, and kept going. He did not require aid from a human, but did not wish to tell that to the boy. His silence would suffice.

What...what were they doing?
Grishelda had put Synra to sleep, grabbed her, and teleported off. And that other morph had just turned to her...had she just apologized before teleporting too?
Vika struggled through the intense pain to rise to her feet, the flame circle dying around her. She looked around frantically -- isolated battles were dying down, and all focus seemed to have been drawn away from the conflict that had just taken place.
"No...no..." Vika staggered a few steps towards the castle, falling to her knees. "No...Synra...no...I failed...I failed you..."
"SYNRA!" she screamed into the darkened sky.

After they cleared the gate and was at least a several feet away. It was enough that they are safe from the morphs. "We should rest for a while here. I believe that we are safe." Her wound was slowing her down with it's pain. She then sat down on the ground leaning against a near by tree. The pain was getting wrost.

Her wound was slowing her down with it's pain. She then sat down on the ground leaning against a near by tree. The pain was getting wrost. The two girls were safe, for now. The vendor woman could only hope that the morphs chose not to search outside the gates for any stragglers.
After sitting down and catching her breath, the vendor woman gently rummaged through her bag.
"...Here, I said I'd take care of you." Though her words were some-what commanding, her voice did not hold its usual resentment against less morally sound units. After all, how could she shun a thief that had assisted her with out argument nor barter?
Patting the ground next to herself, the vendor woman then began to prepare for a little first aid. Her dress, as new and beautiful as it was, would have to serve as cloth and bandages. It was torn anyway, so she had no excuse to be stingy about the material. She ripped off both a swatch that would be used to help clean the lady-thief's wounds, and a long strip that would be used to hold the injuries closed. Afterwards, she then took a vulanary out from her bag and began to work the cork out of the bottle's neck.

Vika fell to the ground, beating her fists against it as she moaned.
"Synra...no...no...NO!"
What were her options now? She...she could charge into the castle, she could rescue Synra herself. But that wasn't going to be the best idea; she was incredibly injured, and that nomad would strike her down before she entered the doors. No...her only option now was to go back to the resistance, to recover before she made her next move. She knew where her allegiances lay now.
Spreading her wings, she slowly rose into the air, shifting into her avian form before soaring back in the direction of the FEFGA house.

Madriana faces Tibarn, smiling wickedly. "Hawk King! So you came, hm? Well, I'm ready then. You came for a fight?" She moved in front of the door to Vah's room.

Tibarn narrowed his eyes. "I came to... save Vaherianslyeri... and you... are just a sour b***h standing in my way..." His feathered chest was heaving, but he wasn't going down without a fight. He suddenly leaped into the air and with a screech turned himself into a deadly streak of green, weaving along the corridor so she couldn't target him with a spell, racing along toward her. Though he was in a weakened state, the Hawk King was still very fast, and Madriana had enough time to duck aside as he turned himself and slammed into the door hard enough to break its hinges and knock it inward!
Tibarn staggered back, dazed, as the busted door fell, and managed to focus on the form of Vaherian long enough to hoarsely call, "Get... get out of here..."

Madriana looked in the door for a moment. Without thinking further, she cast a high level spell straight at Vaherian, causing her to fall unconscious. "Stupid bird! Why do you risk your life to save her?! She's not like you!"
