Kaida cuddled into Kale's chest, extremely glad that she was with him again. and let him talk, curious of who the other girl was anyway. Gifts...she wondered.

kay frowns at talons thoughts as her eyes change back to a icy blue "i am truely sorry for being sutch trouble to you i shall leave you be" hearing a screach a larg white owl flys stragiht through the door and land on kays shoulder saddly looking from the bird back to talon "it apears i have work of my own to attend to" kay frowns

Talon blinked obviously surprised by her words. "You don't have to go, I just need to get my mind organized is all. Kale often scattered my control." He bowed lowly. "I will show you to your room if you'd like."

kays eyes change back to there warm gold color at his gesture kay smiles at talon "there is no need to bow to me and i would truely apreact your offer" kay slowly moves her hand up to retreve the larg owl siting on her shoulder peting the larg bird kay smiles

Talon nodded and headed up the stairs. "This way."
Kale only tightened his arms around her a bit in response. 'One of the oldest vampires you'll ever meet. The oldest are usually considered royalty in our world.' Kale smiled to her and kissed the top of her head. "You seem tired."

kay fallows talon "so what is this family u speek of it intreags me to no ur ways for i have lived to see many life's but none realy speek of family at least i have fergoten what family was when my father was killed and even then it wasn't family it was rules and training thats all it ever is for me" kay sighs "thats why i left my clan there are more things i wish to learn about the human world i want to learn more about my other half my mothers half"

Talon chuckled and turned to her, but his eyes on Kale and Kaida. "They are family now cause they are mates, however Kaida has become family the moment she stepped into those doors and saw Kale. Family here has many meanings. Love, dislike, hate, anger, boredom, content, everything that you will see and hear during your stay here is what our family does. I'm guessing that this house has the biggest family in the world right now. With over 40 vampires in this house and a couple humans, it wouldn't be surprising if I was right. We respect each other in our own ways. We each have our own personality. Kale and I are like brothers I guess you can say. He loves to get into my personal space with I require time to myself and I love to get on his nerves endlessly." he stated, hoping that giving her an example of what his view of family was would help.
Kale chuckled and rubbed her hair. "I'm sorry to have kept you up then." Without waiting for her to reply, he slid an arm under her legs and supported her back with the other. "You are sleeping with me from now on, in my room." he told her softly.

Katie held the cloth to her neck. Her knees were trembling. "How do you feel?" John asked. Katie replied, "Weak...dizzy...my neck kinda hurts..."
"Did you know that vampire?" John asked.
"...no..."
"are you sure?"
"...yes..." her trembling knees gave and she started to fall but John caught her, "Really Katie, you can tell me anyting, it's alright, are you sure you didn't know that vampire?"
"What makes you think I knew him?"
"The way he went after you only and the way he seemed to know exactly where you were....Also," there was a troubled look in his eyes, "He knew my men were here and he was able to get past them."
"I'm sorry, I don't know who he was," Katie replied and this comment was partly true.

Kale laughed, a real laugh for once and they were already at his room. "You are too precious you know that?" he asked her as he set her on his bed.
