The secretary turned her attention over to her computer and began scanning through some names. Chris Brooks wasn't anywhere to be found, but a Cobblepot was. Which meant that he had at least had a conversation with the boss.
She picked up the phone and pressed the first button on her machine. "One moment, Mr. Brooks." she said with a smile.
"Mr. Fisk? There's a Chris Brooks here to see you about a business matter.....yes, sir.....no, sir.....Mr. Cobblepot referred him......yes, sir.....Alright." she said into the phone, then hung up.
"He'll be with you in just a minute."

Mr Brooks nodded, "Very well. I'll simply wait here."
Chris then casually glanced around the decor of the office.

There were cameras everywhere. A few in plain sight, angled to get every inch of the room, and a few in rather nicely hidden places.
After a few minutes, a man walked out of the large doors that led to Fisk's office. He placed his hat back onto his head, glanced over at Chris, then turned to the secretary. "I'll be by again next week, Miss Yates." the man said as he headed towards the elevator.
"Alright then, have a good day Mr. Foswell." the secretary replied as the man in the suit dissapeared into the elevator.
After a few more minutes, a light on the secreary's desk came on. She glanced over at Brooks and smile. "Alright, Mr. Fisk will see you now." She replied.

"Thank you very much, darling," with that Mr. Brooks walked into Mr. Fisk's office and saw a very large man. Something about Mr. Fisk reminded Chris of a sumo wrestler as apposed to someone who was just fat.
Mr. Brook tilted his head forward slightly, and then back, "Mr. Fisk, thank you for seeing me on such short notice."

"Of course." Fisk replied from behind his large desk. "Please, have a seat." he said as he motioned towards the chair in front of his desk with one hand. With the other, he motioned for the two large guards standing on the sides of the door to go wai outside.
Once they had left and closed the door, Fisk turned his attention back to Chris. "So, what is it you came here to talk about...Mr. Brooks, was it?"

Mr. Brooks took the seat offered to him and then addressed Wilson Fisk, "Well, Mr. Fisk, my employer has a problem; one that we can't address without jeopardizing our current project. So, we need an outside contractor with 'specialized' skills. When I spoke to Mr. Cobblepot, he told me that you are the man to see to make such arrangements. Is that the case, Sir?"

"I have an unlimited number of resources and contacts at my disposal." Fisk replied. "The nature of your situation and how much your employer is willing to pay is the only thing you'll need to be conserned with."

Chris smiled, "Of course. The problem that needed to be removed is criminal lunatic known in Gotham as the Joker. As my employer would put it, the Joker offends his sensibilities. If it would help your contractor, I have copies of GCPD's and Arkham's Asylum's files on the Joker..."

"The Joker?" Fisk asked, his expression changing a bit. "He stopped by to pick up a payment for one of my other employees quite some time ago. I've gathered as much information as I could on the man after his visit, but any other information you could provide would be helpful."

Chris concidered Kingpin's words, ...stopped by to pick up a payment for one of my other employees... "I take it that the Joker performed a snatch and grab."
Mr. Brooks pulled out some files from a briefcase, "Here's what we have on the man. Feel free to look the files over. And... Just be straight with me. Can this be handled?"

Fisk took the files and looked over them. Some, he'd already seen. Others, he hadn't.
"There have been times when my employees were unsucessful." he replied, turning his attention back towards Chris. "But, if that becomes the case agian...I assure you, Joker's attention will neither be on your employer or myself."

Chris smiled and relaxed slightly, "Excellent. Who do recommend? Of course, I want to make sure that my boss gets his money's worth. Also, will you be handling the arrangements from here on?"

"The ones I would recomend, I'm afraid I've yet to see in this world." Fisk replied. "I can't recomend anyone with absolute certainty at the moment either. There are a few under my employ that are new, so I've yet to see any serious work from them. Another is good at what she does, but she is unstable at best. Another woman would easily be able to take care of your problem, but she does seem to be allied with the Joker. Unless something's happened to change that, getting her to turn against him may be difficult."

[Enter Lady Deathstrike from the Choser's Realm]
.......
Chris nodded, "I understand. So what would you advise?"
All of a sudden, one of the boxes that were delivered in the office mail began to ring....

Fisk thought for a moment. "How long is your employer willing to wait before I send someone to take care of your problem?" he asked.
The man in the mail room jumped a bit and looked nervously at the box. He hesitated a moment, then moved and gently picked the box up. He took it outside the room and handed it to a security guard. He looked at it a moment, then took it and quickly moved down the hall with it. Within seconds he was inside a small, but heavily built room. He closed the door behind him, and pressed a button on the inside of the door. There was a metalic swish and clack, and the man was sealed inside with the box. The then took the box over to a metal table...the only furniture in the room, and began opening the box.
Considering who the boss was...they had to be cautious of bombs or other types of threats.
