Princess Volupine I'm sorry, dearest guild [[and rad guild membars]] I've just had a lot on my mind recently. Seriously, I log onto Gaia and just sit there -- staring into space :/

yeah.
a lot of teenagers are really stubborn and obnoxious and unreasonable and don't like listening to what others have to say.
i mean, i'm a teenager, but... i don't think i'm as horrid as all the other teenagers out there.
in fact, i think my parents are damn lucky to have me. >>
sometimes i just think they don't know it.
i mean...
-i don't drink.
-i don't smoke.
-i don't do drugs.
-i don't have sex.
-i don't swear at them or yell at them.
-i don't use my body to my advantage.
-i have a 4.o.
-i like learning.
-i like reading.
-i think about life and what everything means.
-i'm unique.
and i like those things about me.
and i don't think my parents realize that a lot of people my age can't say that all of those apply to them.
so i don't know.
that's just me.

Yupyup, I know what you mean!
Like, I was the same except for 4.0 GPA XDD!
And my parents didn't realize what almost all other teenagers were like, so they kind of took me for granted.
One day, however, they came home and hugged me, because I guess they saw some of Jerry Springer or something, and they were all "Oh gawd, I'm glad MY kid isn't like that!"
So hopefully they will be enlightened. =D
They're probably a lot more proud of you than you realize.
Like, I didn't know it at all, but, apparently, my mom brags about me constantly.
Your parents are probably the same way, yupyup! =D
I just realized that I said the same thing at the beginning and end. >.>

Also, has anyone else heard about the event in Moscow where a woman suicide bomber killed at least 37 people (the deaths are still racking up) and injured hundreds by blowing herself up in a subway durring rush hour?
Some people say it was two bombers, but I heard one.
I just heard about it from a friend, and it seems it happened only this morning.
For some reason, I want to mention that, in the Islam faith, this is the only way for a woman to even get a hint of being allowed to enter into heaven.
Like, they aren't guaranteed entrance at all.
It's really sad.

 Not like my absence is anything new, but I'll be in Vancouver for the next few days!

and you know what? i think about that allll the time. i wonder if my parents appreciate that i'm not running around partying, doing drugs, and courting STDs. they rly don't seem to care :/

oh shut up about the 4.0. that doesn't have anything to do with whether or not you're a good teenager.
and by the way, people have a tendency of underestimating just how similar they are to others. like with your statement about thinking you're not as horrid as all the other teens out there. most teenagers think that and most are just as horrible (or just as bad, depending on how you look at it).
other than that, you seem like a pretty good kid. :3

I can relate to your last statement. My dad wants me to stop studying so much (even though I don't study nearly as much as a I should.) Like, I don't start until maybe 6, even though I got home at 5, and then I go to bed at midnight, so I barely do any work. and yet he's yelling at me. I could understand him getting annoyed at me for having a 3.63 GPA (at which I'm surprised I haven't been kicked out yet for), but not for not studying enough.

i guess you're right about the 4.o, seeing as some kids can get wasted and party all they want and still get good grades, but i think solar was trying to say she's studious is all. >.>;;
dude, i hate to agree with you. i woke up today and realized there;s nothing attractive about me sweatdrop
hay, a 3.63 isn't so bad!
i hate talking about skool and grades because that's all i have. and i'm starting to realize the real world doesn't give a ******** whether you've got straight A's and are in NHS and SHF. a diploma's a diploma. v.v

Jor parents get mad because they want you to be preps?
I can sort of understand if you were stydying constantly and doing too much work, but this trend is quite odd.
My parents encourage me to study because they didn't get an education beyons HS, and they barely don't have to live paycheck to paycheck.
So the more money I get from a nice job, the more I can pay for a retirement home for them XDD!

I feel bad for not being on here anymore, but school.. it's just awful right now.
But I have a favor to ask of you.
My best friend, Alyssa, is a model. She has been contemplating giving up on her dream, because her scholarship isn't enough money, and modeling isn't a sure path.
It means so much to her, I can't watch her give up.
So, there's this contest, and she needs some more votes to make it to the top 100.
It does cost a dollar to vote, but it would mean so much if you guys could vote and help her make it..
