Muraki sat down in his usual chair, leaning back and closing his eyes. "I don't know, Oriya-kun... I... I just don't know what came over me..." he whispered, moving his head to rest in his hand.

The teen nodded, saying nothing, and refusing to look up at Oriya.
How could he even begin to face his friend when this had happened.
Could he tell him?
Could he let Oriya know that it had been all to protect him?

He closes his eyes, resting his face in his hands and letting out a deep breath. "I've always seen this. I'm just... afraid it's going to get worse. I don't know how to protect you, anymore. When we were young.. all I needed was my katana, but now..."

"It's okay, Muraki-san." Quietly, not at all knowing what to do. "I'm not going to leave you again. What can I do?"

" I had.. a nightmare is all. I'll get over it. Plus i didn't to sleep till 5 am." he said sighing. " So i got.. like 30 mintues of sleep.."

"Go back to bed? Or at least take a nap later..?" A vague strain of worry there -- concern for him.

Looking over to his friend, Muraki's grey gaze locked onto the form of his friend. "Oriya-kun... I never meant for it to be this way... for me to trouble you so much..." he sighed, obviously nowhere near his usual confident self. "Lately... there have been times when I can't even remember what's happened..."

Tears continued to fall from the teen's eyes. "I..." but instead of staying away, or saying anything, Muraki suddenly clung to Oriya.
He needed the close contact after all.
The poor teen hadn't slept all night, thanks to his brother's visit.

He looks over at him, sighing. "Don't apologize for worrying me. I just want to be able to help you. That's all I've ever wanted." He stands, going over to him and pressing a kiss to his forehead.

Oriya blinks, very carefully sliding his arms around him and hugging him gently, kind of naturally resting his cheek on his head. "It'll be okay. It will."

Hisoka put a hand on his head. " I suppose i should.. but a nap will better. Since i promised i would meet Watari in the office in like.. an hour."

"Just promise me you'll take care of yourself" He reaches over and lightly ruffles his hair, accidentally brushing his fingers with his own, allowing for a moment of connection.

Muraki reached out, taking Oriya's hands in his own and pulling the man down to sit on the chair, on Muraki's own legs.
"I know... but I don't think this is something you can help me with."

Sobbing, Muraki spoke softly. "I couldn't stop him." the teen whispered. "He was going to kill you, Oriya... I couldn't..."

Shudders a little, leaning in to bury his face in his neck. "Who can? Don't say no one. There has to be something we can do."

He just very gently picks him up and carries him into the other room, figuring he'll want to be... elsewhere. Sitting down on the futon with him. "Please don't do that again..." Quietly. "I appreciate that you're trying to protect you, but I thought that was supposed to be my job."

"I'll write myself a prescription for Fluphenazine." Muraki replied, holding Oriya close, his eyes closed in exhaustion.
He wasn't about to tell Oriya that the prescription was an antipsychotic drug. One that was usually reserved for schizophrenic patients.
But Muraki had his own suspicions about what was wrong with him.

Muraki shook his head, "I was protecting you, Oriya-kun..." the teen whispered. "Saki... he... he told me he'd kill you... I didn't even know he was there until it was too late, Oriya-kun..."

He nods slowly, not pulling away, just hugging him tighter. Wishing he'd talk to someone... but he doesn't think that it'd help, truthfully.

"We'll share a room for now, and double security." He presses his face into his hair again, sighing. "I'm so sorry... I should have anticipated this. I could kill him myself, right now." His voice is distantly furious.

Muraki looked up at his friend quickly. "Please... don't do that, Oriya-kun." he whispered, fear in his grey eyes. "I just... I don't want to hurt him, Oriya-kun... Saki's... Saki's scared... he doesn't understand what friendship means... and he's jealous."
