well in the first one, the flood could HIT each other and it was hilarious, but i've never seen them actively hunt each other down. I've noticed that flood act differently in each halo game copy. The flood in my games act differently from all my friends games and what not. I'm used to mine and i let my friends play and they get there a** kicked.

When I had halo 3, my flood would just wonder around aimlessly like real zombies until I got close enough for them to hit me.

Mine were tactical silent assassins. you'd know if you were about to get hit because of the gurgle they make but you couldn't run or jump out of the way fast enough. My flood always seemed to be the hardest ones out of my group of friends and their games. Even the slow ******** boomers could sneak up on you. youd back into the room, make a quick circle around and see nothing. you turn and see like two flood rounding a corner and start to fire. then some boomer would lay behind you and detonate! whole bunch of little poppers running around poppin on you or reanimating a freshly killed corpse because i haven't blown off all the limbs yet...

Ah yes, I usually look for them first, or after I've taken out the ones with grav hammers.

Ah, yes, just make sure the boomers aren't near by, or you're gonna have to fight the same enemies, again.

not if the hammer connects with one of em, lol, then it just rains his body parts. ya know..... i've never seen a female flood despite the fact that there are female marines. . . .
