Aelo trotted into the meadow, this time accompanied by the very-eager-to-be-back Mizu. It had been some time since her last visit to the meadow and she couldn't wait to spend some quality time with her Tala and catch up with the others. They both walked along to their favorite spot in the meadow and took a seat. Aelo was very eager to get the day started after finding out that Mizu had a little surprise for him.

*yawns and climbs a nearby tree watching all the Talaye* Everyone is so pretty... One day maybe I'll find someone meant for me?

Caelestis pads into the meadow, tilting his head this way and that to search for any signs of life. He's grown up since the last time he was here, and the handsome adult Talaye stills seems to be getting used to his larger size. He swipes a paw across his face to adjust his headphones before settling down into the grass to enjoy the sun.

*hoping into her tree, Pink hugs onto Ceri and watches the Talaye. Adopting Ceri hadn't dimmed her longing for a Talaye*

Skylar padded into the meadow and looked around eagerly. It had been quite awhile since he had stopped by and was quite curious to see if new talas had come while he was gone. As his eyes gazed on the different talas he could only see one face that he recognized which was Aelo. The blood red tala happily trotted over to Aelo and nodded a hello to him and Mizu.

((I know I should reply to your previous post, Mizu, but there's a small problem: since you've already posted twice, and this time you re-enter the meadow with Aelo, it would be kind of strange if Aelo both re-entered it AND sat beneath the tree with me. sweatdrop )) Yume sat by the small pond, watching the water move slowly together with the soft winds which blew by. By this pond, she thought, closing her eyes, there've been many to sit. There must have been a lot of Talas sitting here. One day, if I ever get a Tala, it will probably sit here too... watching the reflection as me... Opening her eyes again, she saw Aelo coming with his owner. With a smile, Yume got up and walked towards them. "Hello, Aelo. And hello, er... I don't know your name, but I guess you're Aelo's owner?" Yume asked with an even friendlier smile. She stretched out her hand to greet Aelo's owner. "Hello, my name is Midnight Yume, but you can call me Yume, if you like. Some call me Midnight, but I prefer Yume."

Remus leaped out of his parents' tree carefully, landing with a soft thump on the grass below. "It's been way too quiet," he told the tree in annoyance. "I'd have been just as well off staying home, if I get stuck talking to you!"
The tree rustled its leaves as if in reply, and Remus shivered, turning to look out into the meadow.

Weary and beaten, Kenchan returns from a long and arduous journey, facing dead-ends and cul-de-sacs on the road of life. Exhausted, he collapsed on the soft, moist grass of the meadow and gazed around, seeking a familiar face. Not seeing who he sought, Kenchan rested his eyes and let his face soak in the warm sunlight flooding the meadow.
Excited to see an old friend, Meriko began descending the hill upon which she rest; however, upon seeing the lack of recognition on Kenchan's face, she grew confused, puzzled, then upset. "Why is it that he is not happy to see me?" Meriko decided to return to her hill and let things unfold on their own.

Finally having rid himself of the little scamp that insisted that he was a servant, Ovid waded through the long grasses on the outskirts of the meadow, gaze darting over the amber leaves. They would be falling soon, and he could not wait to play among their poetic shades, as they tumbled to their weary graves.

As he surveyed the field, his eyes lit on a young, but thankfully not pup, Tala. She looked somehow familiar, but he wasn't sure how, as he was certain he'd never met her before. Shrugging, he started over, when another, far more familiar face caught his eye, and he abruptly changed directions. "Hey, Ovid! How're you?"

Meriko, purposely walking directly in front of Kenchan, approached and greeted Remus with a hearty "Top 'o the mornin' to ya!" despite the fact that it was readily apparent that morning had long since past. Ignoring all puzzled looks, she began her 'morning' ritual of circling Remus, studying him thouroughly.

Remus stared at the familiar-yet-unfamiliar tala as she started around him. He almost yelled, but that wouldn't solve anything. Putting on his best polite voice despite confusion, he coughed. "Do I know you, miss?"

Brow quirked at the unfamiliar femme, Ovid returned Remus' greeting with a warm smile, one paw lifted in a wave. "Morning Rem, I'm not bad, finally lost my 'lord and master.' How're you?" Attention returning to the oddly circling tala once more, the black and white figure nodded politely.

Meriko felt rather hurt, but did her best to keep her usual, tongue-lolling big smile on her face. "C'mon c'mon, don'cha know it?" she replied, playfully nuzzling the older tala. "Yeh remember yer favoritist 'lil pup, don'cha?"
