"let. him. go." she bit out, Xal at her side fully grown. he easily passed her hip, and his claw's were bared as he crouched down. she had been looking for Tyler, only to fallow Xal here. she had a carfuly blank mask on, watching Avarice tensely.

her smile was an exact copy of her fathers, a devil-may-care grin. " because. one i asked as nicely as i could at the moment.. and two." her hand shot out, phantomish purple fire spread out and singed the spirit's clothes. " because spirit's are energy, and if i use my energy right now i can blast you like a bottle rocket." she lost the urge to laugh when she looked at Tyler, trying to sound like this was just another day out instead of a very bad situation. " do you always have partys like this? it realy isnt good for your health Ty."

she wanted to laugh. Xal was an elemental, or earth spirit. he could kill other creature's from his plane of existance. to prove this point, he phased dangerusly out. his form wavering before comeing solid again. then he growled lowly and took a small step forward.

"Touch her and I will send this brat to his death!" Avarice growled. His skin rippling with the violent urge to shift. "I did not want to fight. The child sought me out! He was the first to strike. I have the right to defend myself, do I not?" Avarice eyed the dog on his arm, hands shaking.

she jerked slightly, but stayed carfuly in a defenseable postition. her stance was a little more less agressive though, and Xal stood at her side watching what was happening. he seemed to be fallowing something across the road, but she didnt want to be distracted by looking. ignoreing the woman she murmerd. " then you should have neutralized. not cause pain. speaking of Pain.. a friend of mine... i want to give him the option of traveling with me from you pack at Haven." she thought the shift in conversation was a good one, distracting everyone long enough to defuse the situation.

Avarice hissed, swinging his arm, knocking Tyler's body into a tree. He didn't stop there though, picking up his speed, he treated Tyler much like a cloth, beating him against tree after tree. He was getting very frustrated.

Tyler kept his hold and after the fith tree he let go and lay on the ground but still breathing.

Kirai simply took it, like a shockwave. "Have you no realization I am a spirit of those same sort, similar in ways?" She said with a smile, tilting her head to rest on Xal's shoulder. "You people are all the same, it really is a wonder how you thrive in this foolish world. Do all of you not agree?" She just bit her shoulder to see what the large cat would do in response, taking in blood and energy quickly.
