Sukotto was the first to reach the cavern that Akiko had ventured into. Since he hadn't been to the lagoon too much since he had lived in Shimagakure the Uchiha didn't even know about the hidden passage until Akiko had sent a signal from it. He climbed down into the dark space and to his relief, found Akiko safe and sound. He immediately noticed the staff that the Tenmoki girl had found, and just as she had managed to surmise, he figured that it had a great deal to do with the spread of the infection, given the clues of the surrounding environment. The Uchiha didn't expect a single chakra-infused artifact to be the cause of the entire infection, and began to wonder if there were more of these. As he silently examaned it from a distance, his heart lept a little when he caught sight of the sideways figure-eight symbol that represented the seal of Shimagakure. This marking could mean any number of things, but judging by the expression on Akiko's face, it was clear to Sukotto that each of them had guessed that it had been crafted right within the village. He merely gave a nod of approval towards Akiko, as he too heard the unusual sound of a person in what sounded like distress.
Without any knowledge of the beings who had attacked the village, Sukotto knew that they had to treat every unusual sense as though it were a trap, and he was happy to see that Akiko hadn't checked it out on her own. Remaining silent, Sukotto looked at Maia, tapped his ear, and pointed in the direction of the sound to let her know that they were going to deal with it before discussing the staff. He then motioned for her to follow him silently by waving towards himself and pressing his index finger to his lips. Since he was going to be taking point and had no idea what was up ahead, Sukotto activated his Sharingan in order to more easily understand everything he could about the upcoming encounter before Akiko and himself would act on it.
Sukotto's Spy Roll 1d20+12(Spy)+13(Sharingan Bonus)= 44
Cp: 90-10(Sharingan Activation) = 80/104
Akiko may roll either Hide or Spy. With Hide, she will have a better chance of not being seen by anything but with Spy, she may have a chance to learn something more about the sound before acting on it.

Scotty-san seemed to be the first to arrive on the scene. Judging by his expression, he seemed to have reached the same conclusion as Akiko. He seemed oddly quiet about it; Akiko would've loved to know what was on his mind. Instead, he began to give her a few silent clues. She nodded back and followed behind closely. It was rather dark and she doubted she'd be able to see very much--certainly not as much as Scotty-san. But, it did seem like she was gaining an impressive night-vision. She couldn't see colors or textures, but she could make out the shape of the cavern and a lot of the nooks and crannies. As they walked closer to the source of the sound, she could make out a large cavern up ahead. As she looked at what was within, she put her hand up to her mouth. This... this wasn't going to end well.

Akiko and Sukotto witnessed a gruesome sight indeed. One of the infected beasts had gotten a hold of a villager and was tearing them to shreds with its pincers. The creature was once a crab, but had mutated into a monstrous crustacean, about the size of a human child and weighing in at about as much as a human adult. Red and purple rings lined its shell and legs, showing that it was in fact infected, and the beasts shell was protected by spines on either side. It was clear that the villager would die if nothing was done to stop the creature from tearing them up with its sharp claws.

It appeared as though the infected creature that the pair of shinobi happened upon didn't notice them as it feasted on one of the villagers. Sukotto knew that something would have to be done swiftly to save the villager. He figured that the crab's armor was pretty thick, and it would take quite a powerful attack in order to kill it as quickly as they needed to. He would have to use that technique.... Unfortunately, it would be too risky to use it against the crab when it had the villager within its grasp, so the creature would need to be separated from the person in order for the plan to succeed. Since the creature seemed to be too distracted to even notice the pair of ninja, Sukotto figured it would be okay if he quietly spoke to Akiko. "Akiko, I'm going to need you to get that thing away from the villager that it's attacking. Once you do that, I will take it out quickly with one of my ninjutsu techniques. Since we have the element of surprise, you will be able to strike the creature at a weak point more easily, hopefully taking its mind off of the villager for a few moments, and getting it to pursue you."
Akiko's Assignment: Use a Sneak Attack in order to lure the crab away from the villager so that Sukotto can safely use his technique against the creature.

Akiko nodded. It seemed like a fairly sound plan. But, she couldn't really do it from the position she was in, though. Not only did he need a clear shot, he also needed it not to lunge in his direction right away. What's more, if the plan failed, she'd want to have enough room to lead the creature around so he can get a good shot in. If it went horribly wrong, she'd need a good escape route. All these considered, she figured it would be best to sneak into the room, if she could. She crouched down low as she entered the chamber, slowly circling around the beast. She traveled swiftly along the sides of the room, ducking behind rock formations along the way. She wasn't spectacular, but if the creature did see her, it would only be for brief seconds. It would've made a human quite paranoid, but she wasn't sure how this creature would react.

The crab continued to tear away at the villagers flesh, slowly chewing on its meal and savoring it as much as it could. The infection that had taken hold of its body had granted it additional size and strength, but also created a constant burning sensation throughout its body. The creature didn't understand what was wrong with itself, and was incapable of using even the limited logic of its past self, as the infection had eaten away at much of its natural instincts. For a moment, the beast thought it heard something scrape against the cavern floor, but quickly lost interest, as it was too focused on its feast.

((You didn't have to do that extra Hide roll, because Sneak Attack works with Spy as well, so you were already covered. However, if you were already aware of this and did the extra Hide roll for the sake of roleplay, then well done.))

Akiko silently maneuvered around the battlefield. She worked quickly, knowing that someone's life was on the line. Nevertheless, she had to pull this off flawlessly or else something could go horribly wrong. At least, if she missed and hit somewhere near the crab, things should be fine. She drew a shuriken from her robe and flung it out toward the crab, perhaps a little too dramatically than she had hoped. Nevertheless, it should get the creature's attention. Her throw was sloppy and weak, but she did have the advantage of surprise. Besides, it was rushed; she would've executed it much better had she a little more time for preparation. Of course, she shouldn't just expect the enemy or the victim to sit around and wait while she "got ready".

Even though Akiko's throw had been a bit inaccurate, she had been aiming at a large and slow target, so her weapon still managed to connect with the creature's shell. Unfortunately, its armor was so tough that she didn't manage to harm it very much. However, she did get the beast's attention away from the villager, which would potentially open up an opportunity for Sukotto to take a shot at the creature.

Before Sukotto would have a chance to take a shot at the crab, it threw the villager against a nearby rock and then decided to counter-attack with a charge towards Akiko. Since she had chosen to use a ranged attack against the beast, it had a bit of ground to cover before being able to take a swing at the girl, so she would have an opportunity to escape the blow by retreating back a little ways in addition to dodging the attack if the crab got too close. If it did manage to get too close, it would swing one of its large arms at Akiko like a club, in hopes of knocking her down so that it could then use its pincers to pin her to the ground. If she managed to run away from or dodge the crab, then Sukotto would have a clear shot and Akikot wouldn't need to attack it anymore. However, if it did manage to hit her, then it would be too close to the girl for him to risk aiming the technique at it.

Akiko saw the lumbering beast charge at her, but it was obvious that it hadn't planned out the move. What's more, most crabs she had seen walked sideways, not straight forward; it was clear this was not a natural motion for it. Akiko didn't even break a sweat; she simply waited for the beast to gather enough momentum that it wouldn't be able to turn in time. Then she simply walked right out of the way. "All yours!" she called out.

Sorri had beeen been searching throug some of the ideas his family left behind for him while Sukkuto's group's quickly left for the water fall area. He broke everything, at least half of everything in to groups, Cloths manufacturing dupplies , so on and so forth. He was likely to just give it all away to those who need it. People who had ended up with nothing after th invasion. No reason for him to actually keep it, If he was without whatever he need, he'd find some way to work for it. He'd had been searching for the set of clan scrolls, those needed to be found as soon as possible, With no luck at all this go round he shrugged it off, he needed to xcat6ch up with the rest of the lilttle pack.

By now Sorri had been jumping from tree to tree seconds after judging if they'ed stay stable is he leaped to them. the fighters on the ground were still taking care of business agaisnt the there annoingly disgusting frogs the Ibazi went in search of bigger fish, er, frogs to fry. By now those who would recognize Sorri had noticed him by now. Surely the Uchiha did. He continued along anyway. They had to be something out of place in the area. There was no perfect excuted crime scene after such a messy job. They criminals leave some type of misshapened things around the island, specifically this area if the spent enough time to poisin the land AND the animals at the same time.
