Sam smiled as Atem put his arm around her and said she could. She really wanted to stay with him again and the puppy too this time. She picked out a few toys and food and other stuff they would need. She didnt pick out a collar yet. She wanted to get an expensive one for he beloved puppy. "Sure. I like cats too but dogs are my favorite." She said, leaving the basket with their things there as they went into the other room. There were a bunch of cages, some with kittens, some with cats. Pharaoh barked, scaring some of the cats. Sam shushed him and squated down infront of the cage, looking at some black kittens. "Aww they're cute." She said. She moved Pharaoh over and opened the cage, taking out one of the kittens. it purred and rubbed against her. She giggled and stood up. "Its purring." She said. Pharaoh was jumping at her leg to get a better look at the kitten who got frightened in her arms. She handed the kitten to Atem and then petted Pharaoh so he would calm down.
Mai chuckled. "Sure hun." She said, not believeing him. She wasnt sure what they did but she knew they did more then talking. She was distracted for a while so who knows what they did. But she wouldnt pry. Joey had a right to privacy... even in a public place.
Yugi nodded when she asked about the millenium puzzle. he would tell her one day about the puzzle and Atem but he just wasnt ready. He had to just keep mentioning it so she knew more about it until she knew all of the truth. When his other friends found out they witnessed the changes, there was no more proof to show her and he didnt want her to think he was crazy. There was a sound at the door, making Yugi jump. He didnt think it was the dog, he was afraid it was her mother comming in while they were cuddling. He felt relieved as she let the dog inhe laughed a little at himself for being so nervous. He watched as the dog ran in on the bed and he chuckled. He opened his arms for her to come back and cuddle with him.

Well, at least she liked cats a little, Atem thought. "Well, dogs are.... ok. But I do like Phaoroah," he said looking at the puppy- he was rather cute. When they walked in, the cats who were playing at their own discretion suddenly stopped and looked at Atem. They all faced him and laid down properly. Except for the kitten in Sam's hand, which was too busy playing with Sam and being scared of the puppy. It was a strange thing to see really, Atem wasn't even sure of it himself. He glanced at Sam to see if she noticed then looked back. He opened one cage up to hold the cat. The cat gave no fight and seemed pleased to be in his arms. He looked at Pharoah who seemed to want to chase the kitten away, "Pharoah, be nice."
Joey scratched the back of his head. He was still blushing and thinking about what happened. "Well....." he said tore between too shy to say it and wanting to blurt it out. He looked away nervously then looked back at Mai. He then looked around him, making sure nobody was around him- especially Kaiba. He shrugged his shoulders a bit and smiled- trying to be cool about it but was still a bit nervous, which was obvious. "Well, we you know.... er," he said then whispered, "just kissed a bit." He meant to say 'make out', but could only manage to form the word 'kiss' from his mouth. His attempt to act all cool about it wasn't working.
Spirit faced away from them and toward the wall when she laid down. Akiko rolled her eyes one last time at the dog and felt Yugi tug down on her to rejoin him. She smiled and did so so he wouldn't have to force her down. "Aw, miss me so soon?" she said playfully and jokingly. She wrapped her arms around her and snuggled her head against his shoulder comfortably.

((My kitten is like a puppy, I play fetch with her sweatdrop ))
"Whoa... thats weird..." Sam said as all the cats stopped and looked at Atem and laid down. As Pharaoh kept barking she put the kitten away and picked up Pharaoh. "I just dont know what to do with a cat. Dogs play and go for walks and do tricks and stuff, cats... sleep I guess." She kissed Pharaoh on his head and smiled. She loved her puppy.
Mai giggled. "just a bit huh?" She said. She smirked a little. "So is he a good kisser Joey?" She teased. She was happy that Joey was happy now but she would still keep a close eye on Kaiba. She didnt trust him.
"I just didnt want to lose the moment." Yugi said, kissing the top of her head lovingly as he wrapped his arms around her. "Everyone always hung out as a group before but now it seems we're all going our separate ways." He said. He wanted to be alone with her but at the same time he was wondering what the others were up to. Before they wanted to hang out with each other so they could see their secret crushes but now that they were all together, well besides Joey and Seto to Yugi's knowledge.

Atem gave no mind to the cats after Sam mentioned why she liked dogs more so. "I guess I like cats so much because of my era. Cats were viewed as sacred. Besides, I like how calm they could be. And how they'll rest right next to you," he said scatching the cats head gently. He then asked, "Is there anything you need to get from your house before we go back to my house?" He couldn't help but continually think about her staying over the night again. He didn't even think if Grandpa would allow Sam's new puppy to stay over. He was feeling optimistic, so he supposed he would let Pharoah, as well as Sam stay. As long as the dog doesn't destroy the house, and Pharoah didn't look like he would. And Sam already slept over, he should be fine with her staying over again.
Joey smirked and blushed a bit. Was Kaiba a good kisser? Dear lord yes, if only he could think of a better word then 'yes'. "Heh, yea he is," he said in a cool tone. Obviously he was a rough kisser, his neck was the proof. He should have looked around for a few turtle necks while he was in that store- no need to show the world the aftermath. "So um, are you and Valen still..... going out?" he said. Despite his sexuality, he still kind of hated Valen. Well, not hated, but he disapproved of him.
Akiko giggled as she happily cuddled next to him. She blinked a bit and replied, "Aw, it's not like the group is split up for good. Yes, everyone has grouped up with who they wanted to be with and they'll have their own seperate time- just like we will. But we'll still all hang out as a group- like we used to." Akiko didn't feel like people were going their own seperate ways, everything would be the same but everyone would now have somebody special. Well, except Joey. She had no idea what was going on between them. "Well, I don't know about Joey..... But it's not like we're pushing him out of the way. He's part of the group too. I just....." she said and looked down at the ground. "I just feel bad cause he really does like Seto and well..... well, it's Seto," she said though she could come out and say that she felt Seto wasn't the loving type. Nor could she fully belive that he was incapable of loving. Perhaps it was just a bit harder for him.

Sam smirked a little as she thought about Atem being Pharaoh. She was attracted to power. Thats why she always loved watching him duel. So picturing him as a king was such a turn on. "You have no idea how hot it is that you were a Pharaoh." She said and giggled a little. Sam blushed a little and thought about what she needed. "Yeah, I need some clothes..." She said. Last time she had to borrow Akiko's but now she could get he own since she assumed Seto was at work.
"Valon? No, I'm far to busy with dueling to settle down for anyone now." She said proudly. She missed valon though, she missed Joey too. But she just convinced herself that she wasnt the type who could have a relationship, she was a loner. Thats how she always was, so she pushed them both away and now she was on her own, pretending to be happy.
Yugi smiled as Akiko said things would change. "Good." He said. he knew things would change eventually but he wasnt ready for that. He always wanted to see his friends. He frowned as she mentioned Joey. "Yeah... well hopefully mai can cheer him up. He'll be ok... I hope... I wanna check on him latter though. He's my best friend, I have to make sure he's ok..." He said. Yugi always looked out for his friends. And knowing that one of them was unhappy made him unhappy.

Atem couldn't help but first smile proudly when she said that. He was a little shocked she said it the way she did, but shocked in a good way. He kneeled down with her and said, "If we were back in Ancient Egypt, you would be my queen." He shut his eyes and went to go place a kiss on her cheek. Suddenly, he say a flash of light and quick images flash before his eyes. An echo of his name rung in his head. He quickly opened his eyes, he had only placed a small kiss on Sam's cheek before this strange event occured. He jerked his head away and looked puzzled. He blinked a few times and tried to brush it off, "Right..... clothes." He was still shocked about the phenominum he wittnessed. Though he couldn't take any of it in, it still bewildered him. It could be seen on his face.
Joey couldn't help but smile satisfyingly to himself. She was too busy for him, that's what he heard. He didn't realize that that meant she was too busy for him as well- when he was interested with her. Nope, didn't mean that to him at all. "You gonna hang in Domino for a while? Rest until the next tournament at least?" he said hopeful to have his friend around for a while. He hasn't seen her in a long time, he wanted to spend as much time with her before she was off again- like she likes to do. Or at least have her and the group all hang out together. He didn't feel singled out because everyone was dating one another- he didn't feel that way at all, but it would be nice to have somebody he could hang around. He knew Kaiba would never do that- he didn't expect him to. Though he wanted him to, he knew he would never be like that.
She too wasn't ready for another change. She already had to deal with leaving her friends who lived back in the states. That's why she was happy that both of them shared the same friends. And also, she wasn't going to be like one of those girlfriends that disallowed their boyfriends to go out with their friends. Not at all. She didn't care who he hung out with, and whether or not she was with him. She trusted him, she trusted his judgement. Akiko looked worried too, "I know he is. He's a good friend too....." The secret that she held was making her raw inside. Joey still thinks that he was raped, and Seto expects her to watch her friend moap? This wasn't fair, on one hand she was keeping a secret that could make her friend feel better, and on the other hand- that was Seto's privacy and she promised. It would be like a therapist telling classified information to another person. "I....." Akiko started to say, "I don't know if I should tell Joey what Seto told me....." She didn't even remember if she told Yugi, but none-the-less, she wasn't sure what to do.

Sam blushed and giggled as he kissed her cheek and said she would have been his queen. "Yeah? I dont think I'd be very good at that. I'm not good at making important decisions and stuff like that. Seto's always made decisions for me." She said. "Plus I think the Pharaoh's had many wives. And you dont want to know what I would do to you if you ever cheated on me babe." She said in an extreamly sweet but threatening tone. Sam was a lot like Seto when it came to possesiveness. She trusted him but she was insecure so then she got worried he would cheat on her or leave her for someone else because she thought he was perfect and she was nothing. She kissed him gently on the lips and then noticed his strange look. "You ok Atem?" She asked a little worriedly.
Mai shrugged. "I thought about doing a little traveling to get some good practice in before the tournament but I suppose I can just duel here in Domino. Besides, I'm sure you can get your boyfriend to give us all a lift to California for the tournament for free right?" She said with a giggle.
Akiko had told him that Seto had talked to her about Joey but she didnt tell him the details of what he said. Yugi had no idea what his best friend went through. He rose an eyebrow. "About what? I thought Joey said Seto didnt want to be with him? Did Seto change his mind or something?" He asked confused, not realizing how seriously Seto hurt Joey's feelings. He felt like he was missing somthing that they knew and he didnt. He would like for that not to be true since Joey was his best friend and he wanted Joey to be able to tell him anything.

[[I guess logically, Atem and Sam should get there since they have a car. I would like Mai and Joey to get there as soon as possible and then Yugi and Akiko. Because isn't Seto going to fight about the puppy but because Joey is there he doesn't give a damn? lol I also forgot to ask, how does your cat play frisbee? XD that sounds so cute ^___^]]
Atem rubbed his head a bit. He couldn't worry Sam. "I'm fine," he said smiling for her. He stood up and offered his hand to lift her up. He had to think about what she said before, as he was still dazed from - what ever he went though. He chuckled a bit, "I think you would have been a great Queen. Your strong and powerful, yet kind. And you would be my only wife, because I would only want the best and you are the best. Nobody can surpass you." He then sweetdropped and added, "And I wouldn't want you to kill me during my sleep."
"You've got the best of the best in Domino- so why not train here? If you can beat me, you can beat anyone," he said cocky yet with his comic flair. He then nodded, "I think he would agree to that. He better." Joey was planning on Seto bringing them all anyway. Sam is his sister, she would want Atem to go- he seemed somewhat partial to Akiko so she would be able to go and bring Yugi, and obviously, he like Joey- a lot, and he could bring Mai. And if that wasn't good enough, then he would have to be persistent. What he didn't realize was that Seto disliked both Atem and Mai, well, he just thought he was trying to make Joey made by saying those things about Mai. "Hey, you wanna head back to Seto's mansion?" he said, "didn't you say you were going to be staying there or something? I'd offer my place, but you know. My old man isn't the greatest."
How could she be keeping this from Joey? How could she not tell Yugi? It wasn't even the threat that worried her- it was the fact that it was Seto's privacy. Even more importantly, she was worried if she told Joey, he would go after Kaiba and things could be worse. But if it was chewing her up this much, then she should tell somebody. That's right, Yugi didn't even know about the whole part about Joey thinking he was raped. "Yugi," she said, thinking of the right words to say, "You have to promise two things- you can't tell Joey what he told me and you can't tell anybody what Seto told me. I shouldn't do this, but Joey needs to know what Seto told me. I was hoping to try to convince Seto to tell him himself." She then took a breath and explained, "Joey, pulled me off to the side to tell me another part of the story- the main reason he was upset. I.... don't know yet if I should tell you what it was....... but Seto did something really bad. But Seto told me that he didn't do it. Remember Joey said he was drunk? Yes, Seto did bring him to his house to take care of him- but in the morning he told Joey... the thing that Joey thinks he did, to get him away from him." She looked down at her hands, "What it comes down to is that Joey thinks Seto did this thing to him and he didn't- he lied. Seto didn't say it, but it's obvious that he feels something for him and is too afraid to admit it even to himself." She looked up at Yugi with fear in her eyes- was she horrible for holding onto these two secrets? Was she horrible for just telling him?

((oh, I think i said she plays fetch, not frisbee, but yeah, she has these rubbery lizards that she absolutely loves. We throw them and she runs after them and brings them back. Its really cute 4laugh
order sounds good, yeah we'll have Seto flip out about Atem and the puppy, then Joey can come and calm him down.))
Sam took his hand and got up with Pharaoh still in her arms. She blushed a little as he complimented her. She was flattered but she didnt believe him of course. "aww thanks..." She said. She giggled about the killing thing. "I'm gunna go pay for the stuff if you want to keep looking at the cats." She said. She set Pharaoh down, holding onto the leash, and grabbed the stuff before going to the counter to pay. She was really looking forward to being alone with Atem again tonight. It made her both excited and nervous. And she got to be with her puppy. She smiled. Everything was going great.
Mai giggled as Joey said that Seto better bring them. "I see who is in charge in your relationship." She said. Seto and Joey were both stubborn, she never would think they could be together without killing each other. "Oh yeah, Atem's bringing my car and I'll stay with Sam. Are you spending the night with Kaiba?" She asked with a wink.
Yugi listened to the whole thing, looking really concerned and worried. It was a little hard to follow but he think he understood, however he didnt have a clue what Seto could have said he'd done. He didnt know what she should do. he always respected privacy but this concerned Joey. He was worried about how Joey felt right now. He knew Joey was tough but he seemed in a lot of pain. "We have to get Seto to tell him..." He finally concluded. "If he refuses then you'll just have to tell Joey if its really that bad..." He said. "Youre not going to tell me what it is?" He asked.

Atem watched as Sam left. He put the cat down back in it's cage and pet it's head gently. The cats watched him as he left and as soon as he shut the door, they went on as if nothing had happened. He caught up with Sam, she was just finished paying when he reached her. "All ready?" he asked as he rubbed her back. He loved touching her, even the simplest touch. He waited so long to be able to do so, he wasn't going to hold back. Pharoah wagged his tail uncontrollably as he watched both Atem and Sam standing next to each other. He wagged so fast that he couldn't stand still.
Joey wasn't too sure himself who was in charge of the relationship. He'd like to think he was, but he knew he wasn't. Part of him denied the fact that he wasn't and that he wanted to be the domineering one, the other side enjoyed letting seto take charge. Plus, hearing the word 'relationship' made him feel better- it felt like it really was a relationship. He smiled a big smile when she mentioned that he would sleep over Seto's house. He then said, "I believe I will." They exited the mall and headed toward Seto's mansion.
She nodded, "I hope Seto would tell him, I kind of think he will on his own. But he's so damn stubborn." There was a slight bit of aggravation in her voice when she said that. Why do men have to make things so difficult? She agreed that Joey has to know. She just had to make Joey promise her that he wouldn't go back to Seto and say something or do anything hasty. Seto had to figure out his feelings slowly- Joey would get too emotional and confront him and that would just ruin any chance of them getting together- if there even is to be a chance. She looked at Yugi and looked upset. What she had told to her upset her enough- how would Yugi feel about it? Probably even worse since that was his best friend. "I know, I know Joey is your best friend. That's why I'm not sure if I should tell you. I don't want you to be upset. But I'll tell you if you want to know. You still have to promise me that you won't tell him I told you- or tell anybody else," she said. It shouldn't be too bad though, afterall- it didn't really happen.

Sam nodded, "Yeah". She smiled as Atem rubbed her back. Joey never did such things as a boyfriend. Sure he would drape his arm around her or kiss her on the cheek but it all just felt friendly, not caring or romantic or anything. Atem was sweet and made her so happy. She really loved him. She grabbed the stuff and walked out to the car. She got into the passengerside and placed Pharaoh back on her lap. He licked her face and tried to jump around and explore the car but she held him tight so he wouldnt get mai's car ruined.
Mai giggled. "My little boy's finaly becomming a man!" She joked. She expected them to sleep together of course. Hoever, it was hard to picture Seto being lovey and stuff.
Yugi nodded. "I promise, I wont tell... cause it never really happened right?" He asked. He sighed. "No offense Akiko but I dont understand something, why would Joey tell you and not me? I thought I was his best friend, I thought he could tell me anything... I always want to be there for him... And this seems so serious...Was I not a good friend somehow?" He asked sadly. His friends meant everything to him.
Seto sighed, looking at his watch again. What was taking Joey so long? He was probably with that whore. He growled. Seto had changed into a comfyer outfit. He wore tight dark jeans and a long sleeved black shirt. He stayed in his office but kept the door open so he could hear if anyone entered the house.

"Oh no! It's not like that!" she said not realizing that's how Yugi felt. "No no, he wouldn't have told me at all but he had to ask me something," she said to explain why Joey didn't go to him. She curled her legs up and looked away from Yugi. "He told me because he had to asked me..... if Seto ever tried to rape me- because that's what he told Joey. He told him that he took advantage of him last night and he didn't need him anymore," she said as she couldn't believe what came out of her mouth. This whole situation seemed so strange, but it really happened. "And he said it to push Joey away- he didn't do it. But it still hurt Joey a lot. In fact, I think it hurt Seto saying it. His foolishness could really do some damage to Joey emotionally, and even if this blows over- Seto tells him the truth and they are ok..... I'm still worried. They just..... clash too much. You know?" she said. She peeked up at Yugi to see his face. That's it, she decided- she's not keeping anymore secrets anymore. No way no how. Unless they are small things between her and Yugi- but no more secrets that affect their friends.
Atem sat in the driver's seat and buckled up. He was becoming more and more excited about Sam staying the night at his house. He wasn't sure if he could ever sleep so soundly again without her next to him. Plus, it was great to wake up next to the one you love and..... play around. Let's face it, he's a guy. He started up the car and headed toward her house. He wanted to make it fast though, he didn't want Kaiba to see them. "Your brother is at work, right?" he asked restraining a harsh voice- he did a rather good job. He just wanted to stay clear of him because of what he said last night. He didn't fear Kaiba- he feared what he could do to Sam if they were seen together.
Joey laughed out loud and rubbed the back of his neck. Boy if she only knew what they did yesterday- and in public too. Yes, it was hot.... very hot. However, he didn't want to strike up the conversation just incase she had stories of her own. Not that he cared..... but it was Mai- the girl he once had a crush on. It would be like hearing your ex's stories- the one you used to be with. Mai seemed ok though with him and Seto. Well, that's good, he needed someone who wasn't too judgemental of Seto.

Yugi's eyes widened and he jumped up, forgetting that it didnt really happen. All he could think of was the possibility that Seto raped Joey and Akiko. He snapped out of it and put his hands on his head, pacing back and forth. "Thats, thats so low! How could Kaiba hurt Joey like that! We have to tell him! Kaiba wouldnt have said that if he actually cared about Joey!" He said, getting really upset and worried. He looked at her worriedly. "He never touched you right?" He asked quickly.
sam looked at the clock and nodded. "Yeah, Seto shouldnt be home for at least two or three hours." She said. Seto never came home early. They soon pulled up to the house. Since it was fenced in shelet Pharaoh off of the leash to run around. She laughed as he ran around in a circle. She chased him a little before going to the door. Pharaoh followed imediately, smelling the door and everything arund them. She opened the door and walked in. Pharaoh darted past her and into the house, wagging his tail and smelling everything once again.
Seto heard the door open and he grinned. He walked over to the mirror and looked at himself before heading out of his office quickly but trying to look composed. He stopped at the top of the stairs, looking puzzled at first as he spotted Sam and Atem instead of his Joey. He glared at them. Didnt she understand him the first time he said she couldnt be with him?! He opened his mouth to yell but he was shocked as a little puppy ran up the stairs and jumped at him, scratching his leg and barking at him. He backed away quickly, giving a disgusted face. "Sam! What the hell were you thinking?!" he yelled at her, trying to move away from the puppy but it kept comming after him.
Sam gasped as she spotted Seto at the top of the stairs. "S-seto?!" She said surprised. "W-what are you doing home?" She asked.
Seto stomped down the stairs, being careful not to stand on the puppy who was chasing him and nipping at his ankles. "Stop trying to change the topic. I told you you couldnt have a stupid mutt, or be around this loser." He growled at her, gesturing to Atem with his hand.
Mai saw her car in the drive way as they neared the Kaiba mansion. "Well it looks like Sam and Atem are here, I wonder if Yugi and Akiko are too." She said allowed. She didnt know Kaiba hated Atem even more now, or that he hated her too.

Akiko jumped back a bit when Yugi jumped up. Well, she kind of expected this, if not she expected worse. She understood though, she was pretty upset when she heard- and this was when she didn't know it wan't true. She stood up next to him and nodded. "No it wasn't the best thing to tell somebody that actually cares about him. Not a smart thing at all," she agreed with him. But she wasn't sure if Seto really cared about him or was just scared. "I agree, I think I should go tell him," she said. She started to bring out her cell phone she looked at Yugi when he asked whether or not Seto ever touched her. She couldn't help but roll her eyes, "Please, he barely even held my hand. Besides, he's gay- so that makes it a definate no." He could have done it if he wanted to- as a power type of thing, but she figured she wouldn't even say that- it would definately upset Yugi. She dialed Joey's cell phone, "Gotta see where he is first...." she said as the phone rang.
Joey heard his cell phone go off. Seeing it was Akiko he picked it up, "Hey there chickie!"
"Don't call me that," Akiko said rolling her eyes. "Hey Jou, where are you right now?" she asked him.
"I'm right outside of Seto's house. Listen, I'll call you back later? I got to go," he said and hung up before she said her good bye. He was excited to see Seto again and wanted to get inside as fast as possible. "Ok, ready Mai," he said.
"Hey wait I gotta......" she said but heard him hang up. She looked at the phone puzzled and then put it away. "That jerk..... hung up on me. He's gonna get such a beating...." she said kiddingly. She then looked at Yugi confused. "This is going to sound dumb.... I know, but he said he's standing outside of Seto's house. I know, weird- I dunno. And he sounded pretty happy and in a rush.......... Wonder what happened. Let's go find out," she said.
Atem walked with Sam inside the house. And low and behold, he saw Kaiba walking down the stairs. He was definately shocked to say the least. What was he doing home? He looked back and forth from Sam to Kaiba. There was no way he could reverse Kaiba's stubborn thinking- not only because he was there, but because of the puppy now. He crossed his arms and glared back at him. "Kaiba just calm down," he said in a bit of a sigh. These next few moments would be like hell on earth, only a miracle could get them out of this one scott free.
