Dorenel didn't have a clue as to why this vampire had come here. But that changed almost immediately after the vampire opened his mouth. The vampire had come to ask about the pages that used to me contained in one book. One of those pages had been in Dorenel's possession until quite recently. When he heard the vampire referencing the pages as a prophesy, he almost laughed. Of what he knew about the page he had kept it was anything but a prophesy. "Are you speaking of a prophesy made by a vampire?" Dorenel said and continued in an attempt to anger the vampire, "I have never come across any of those that carried any weight. Vampires have never been any good at gleaning the future. Usually things like that are just wishful thinking. But I guess if you really believe things like that, then I should tell you that I don't follow the movements of Tramer intently enough to know what he does." Dorenel stared directly into the eyes of the vampire almost as if he were looking as the back of his eyes.

"Ah," Jigantro started to say, "Then you have not read the pages I used to hold. Much like the Incans, a lot of choices of vampires were given by the stars, and all these things the pages spoke of, match what is going on now." He felt the could stare of the mage and it felt as if Doronel had been reading his mind. "So you don't believe in any medieval way of trying to predict the future?" He was now trying to change the pace away from the mage's way of mocking his race.

Yuuki nodded to her friend.

"I am aware of that yes, and that's why I was leaning more towards a dormant spirit that was possessing you. However, even with past background knowledge I couldn't completely leave the other option out."

Follwing Destiny over to her computer, Yuuki was shocked what was brought up. The picture in question was even 'talen' per se, at the time of that rebellion she thought Trena meant...

"So, let me get this straight, if you remember seeing this figure from that other woman, then she was in love with Tramer? The second in command of the vampires, Tramer? Dear Lord. My guess is we should see how she can become dormant once more." Yuuki went deep into thought for a moment.
"Wait a sec, if you take a look at this whole situation, doesn't this give us a clue about the pages? We didn't know a whole lot about this before, but doesn't this give us some sort of time frame? From when the pages were created? Or even a clue about its contents! I can't help but think that Trena wouldn't have appeared unless she had some sort of deep connection to these pages..."

Scratching her head she smiled at her Yuuki and Iana. Then taking a deep breath started to try and make sense of the string of questions Yuuki had just brought up.

"I am pretty sure this Trena person is one in the same. Unfortunately with cases of past selves intrudeing on present times there is not alot I can do to stop when she wants to take over my body. Really sucky if you ask me. But with my telepathy it makes it easier to regain control before she relinquishes it totally."

Looking down at her computer then up at the two witches again she sighed.

"As for that last bit that you brought up, I think it is safe to assume what time the pages were created. Just to make sure I think we should have the blood it was written in checked out. Who wants to bet it would match moi's. And if I know anything about vampires especially ancient ones, they liked to try and pull some sort of shinanigans when they killed someone of even mild importance. Maybe their attempt at being assholes will work to our advantage. Her fa.... My past father was a slayer. Hopefully she is not the weeping willow that first meets the eye."

Taking a deep breath she waited for her friend to reply and hoped she did not sound to crazy to Iana during her little rant.

"On the contrary, I have found that some of the most discounted and ancient ways of predicting the future tend to be the most accurate. But only if done by someone skilled at the art. Also one must consider that every action anyone makes will effect the end that is seen. Great conflicts will destroy the ability to see the future accurately." While he was saying this, Dorenel was also laying out the framework of a portal. It was being created under the vampire's feet and went to a meter radius around him. Once enough power was put into it it would become a one way portal that would open to an grassy area in the park. Dorenel then continued to speak, "I wouldn't have wanted to read any more than I have, I have no reason to take anything in your possession."

((Jigantro, If your character has the ability to detect the use of magic and know what was being done. Don't just post that he gets out of the way or avoids it, Dorenel would have sensed that you could tell what he was doing and would have done something in anticipation to that.))

((Don't worry, I wouldn't have even bothered to say that. It would've been just dumb to me.))

"Well then, I guess my trip was a waste then." Jigantro said as he felt the portal pull him in and set him in the park. The sun burned his skin and he had to put his hood back on. There were many people that saw him appear out of nowhere and were afraid of him. "Great job Doronel," He said to himself, knowing that there was a small chance that someone there would alert the hunters. He had to leave, and fast.

While walking outside the park, he noticed a strange bird on the fence. It didn't seem like the kind that would usually migrate around the park. But as he neared it, it flew to a different part of the fence. Something didn't seem right, as if the bird was relaying information, but he shrugged that off and left the park. It looked so different during the day.

((And yet you manage to slip through an underpowered portal. I was planning on opening the portal before you could walk away but the opening of the portal and the first moments after it I wanted in my post, that said you might want to go back and mind the weather.))

After the vampire spoke but before he could start going anywhere Dorenel pushed more power into the portal. The portal became active. Its plainly visible surface was black and rippled like waves. The vampire then fell through it. Once the vampire was completely through Dorenel withdrew the power from the portal, absorbing all that he could and letting the rest dissipate and collapse. Once he had finished pulling his power from the portal he started to draw upon his ability to manipulate the weather. First he pulled together the natural winds and directed them into the park where he had just sent the vampire. Next he drew winds from the north that would run through the city as a cold gale until sun down. After that Dorenel had much worse things planned.

((Sorry, I thought that that was where you were heading. Didn't know.))

((Another thing that you should know, the portal wouldn't pull you into it. You would simply fall through it because the is no longer a floor beneath you.))

((Once again, I hadn't a clue what you were fully going at.))

Jigantro had to grab hold of his hood to keep it from falling off and exposing him to the sun. "What is up with this sudden spike in weather?" He said to himself, another strong gust slapping him in the face, wanting to force the hood down. It felt like a hurricane was going through the city. He looked at a nearby newspaper and it said that the winds would only get to 3 mph. The wind was much stronger than that though.

Yuuki gave a nod to her friend.

"I wouldn't be surprised if she was. In any case, it gives us another lead into the pages that we didn't have before. And any information about them is good, considering we still know little to nothing about them besides a little bit of what they say from the last time you handled them." Yuuki gave a smal sigh.

"If anything, we can figure out why she may have helped write the pages. In a way, this gives us even more insight to them, considering. This may have been the big breakthrough with the pages we were waiting for."

Iana was listening to the two, but didn't as though it was her place to contribute. Besides she really found a lack in any comments she could possibly produce at the moment. This was all a bit too confusing. It was comforting to know that the two there were probably as just as thrown off balance by this whole thing as well. Silently she nodded when suggestions were thrown about.

"Sweetie, I doubt that she said here have my blood to write in your diary with."

Standing up she looked over at the pages and swore to herself.

"Iana, you are being very quiet today. Is everything alright?"

Destiny made it a point not to pry into her friends minds, but she could tell something was not normal. Not bad but just alittle off.

Constance fiddled with a pen on her desk then yawned and stood. She needed to get out. She needed some air. Her jacket was in the corner and she shrugged it on. Click was the sound her parasol made as it opened and then she began walking. She decided to remain under ground for a while before emerging. Might as well not risk being murdered, but she didn't trust any of her 'loyal' body guards either. Darkness would need to be deep to hold cover for her.

When addressed, Iana snapped out of her dazed state of confusion and attempted to process what Destiny had just said to her. Once the words and registered in her mind, she merely shrugged.

"It's a lot at once to think about. I've indirectly worked with possessions before, but nothing like this," she admitted truthfully, trying to accept her own excuse.
