Lore chuckled at that, well he supposed some of the them would have to come. He didn't mind after all, it was good to have some of the children with them.
"Of course," he murmured as he picked the two of them up, "I guess you don't want to be staying at the castle hmm?"

Idhril snuggled into Lore's arms and stared up at him in confusion. "But that's where we are staying!" she protested. "Are you going somewhere different?" Her grip tightened on his robes as if afraid he was going to be leaving her.
Elnara nodded to her grandmother. Yes, it probably would be best to remain separate from the rest of the family, if it meant nothing more than avoiding Ruel.

"This way then," Atalya smiled, and beckoned for them to follow her.
Earendil couldn't help but laugh at Lin. She was so small, but so sure of herself.
"Anyways, bed then?" he grinned, heading out of the Dining Hall and starting for the stair tower.

Lin nodded it was a good full day unlike last time, "Okay! Or my head will be all messed up if I don't sleep like normal people."
Since she would be tired in the morning otherwise as she learned.

Lore laughed, he supposed he misunderstood her. He nodded, "Yes, we are staying here, but tomorrow your mother and I will be taking a walk outside the castle for a bit. But bed first for night."

"Oh!" Idhril smiled and perked up again. "Yes, I want to come with you! Where will we be going? Is it going to be pretty like the courtyard? Because that was very pretty! All those flowers and everything ... Aunt LĂșthien paints very nicely, doesn't she? Just like Serenity ..."
And as they headed off down the hall, following Elnara, Idhril chattered on and on about how much she liked it there.
Silvrendir was tired by this time, and he just lay his head on Lore's shoulder and closed his eyes sleepily.

Earendil laughed. "Yes, sleepiness does make people a bit disoriented," he agreed. "And thoughtless. But up early, head to the mountain, and then after lunch - brush writing!"
He tossed her up and caught her again, laughing, then cuddled her in his arms.

Lin giggled, snuggling against Earendil, something she would have not been able to do if she was older.
"Will you have to train tomorrow?"
Since she wasn't sure, since he would be near her when she gave it a try up the mountain.

Lore chuckled as he supported Silvrendir, he could feel the boy's breathing become steadily slower. He hadn't probably heard her talk so much since they were at the Borderlands.

"I'm finished all of my formal training," Earendil replied with a smile. "So I only train when I want to, and how I want to. If you'd like I can stay with you on the steps for once."
He was a little curious, he had to admit, to see exactly how she did it. It had been several years since the last time he'd watched her try.

Elnara glanced over at Lore and the children and smiled, then walked closer to him so that she could lay her head on his shoulder as they walked.
"Once the children are in bed for the night," she murmured softly, "would you like to go for a walk? Just outside a bit? It's ... more peaceful out there."

He was sure she would need it too, they both could.

"Oh... that's good... aren't you bored not having any lessons and things anymore?" she asked him.
Or maybe he was like that guard wehre he just never got bored.

Elnara smiled warmly and shifted Storm carefully in her arms as Idhril chattered on and on ... and on ... and on ...
Minutes later they were shown the rooms where they would all be sleeping. Elnara directed Celebor, Skye and Serenity to the rooms where they would be staying, then headed into the room where she would be sleeping with Idhril, Storm and Starr, beckoning for Lore to follow her in.
It was a large room, though to Elnara it was nothing more than par for the castle. In size it was about the equal of the dining room at the Cafe, perhaps even a bit bigger. There was a large (that is to say, big enough to fit at least five adults) canopy bed with the curtains pulled back, a couch beneath the tall window in the northern wall, and a chair and desk against the wall bordering the corridor. The western wall had another door in it, but slightly smaller than the door to the hall.

"I do sometimes," Earendil admitted, "but I can usually find something to do. There's always reading, or writing, or visiting with Sir Valdemar or someone else, and I do a lot of unoffial training with Trainee Haradhel ... sometimes on the mountain, sometimes in my training area. I tried working with Ada once, that didn't work out so well ..."
He frowned. "He likes the forge, but it's just not my thing."
They reached Lin's room and he opened the door for her and brought her inside.
