Marcus smiled to the gathering people. He found himself going through his entire list of songs that he had on his shortened Nin Pod. He didn't have his full one on hand but this was more than enough. He could play the songs by ear as he had heard each of them so many times that they had become a part of him.
He smiled as he moved more and more of his own accord, forgetting that the jutsu was in place but never loosing the concentration of it. He wanted people to come and enjoy. To forget what had just happened. Sure, the crazy woman and her puppets were still around but for now, they were at peace.
The people of the village came in throngs from the mountain and other hiding spots and began to dance and experience true joy at this mans songs.
Of course... he needed a bit more to help with the feel of things... a little bit more... He hadn't brought much with him this time and his girls were back in Iwa, probably blowing a gasket at the fact that he up and left... again. Oooooh he'd get it when he came back.
The speed at which that left his mind was STAGGERING. There were ninja who trained all their life to do nothing but be fast who'd still be floored at how fast he pushed that out of his mind and populated his mind with another though... how to get the crowd really into things.
That's when he overheard the commotion behind him... hey, that chick was pretty hot... yea that could work...However... how to do it without droping this jutsu... he had to do something... that's when he had it. He would complete one song and use the lull between songs to move his hands quickly into a jutsu. Slamming his hands to the ground, he would soon be surrounded by a plum of smoke. Stepping from it was a pale white horse... no a Unicorn who looked to Marcus. She would smile a bit and nuzzle him.
The next song had no lyrics so Marcus could play while he explained the situation to Kirin, the haler of the Horse tribe. She looked to him and smiled with a soft laugh.Leaping from the pedistal that Marcus had created for himself, she would go near Nakamaru. The horse would kneel to the woman. "I am known as Kirin, a companion of Taida Marcus. he has heard your words wishing to 'bury the blades' with the village of Otogakure and he feels that maybe your assitance in his... plan would aid things along." She said the word plan rather hesitantly... It wasn't bad... at least it wouldn't hurt Naka but... well... if she only knew what kinds of things roamed around in Marcus' head, she'd probably attack him right now. Marcus playlist here [[Oh...ummm wasn't really focusing it at you guys but considering how he's playing it... guess it would hit everyone here. Heheheh, sorry bout that. Kaida saw water below them and then ice and before she braced for impact the girl knew who this source was. Once again, saved by her teacher and friend. She hit with a thud, and Wahotts hit harder beside her before the two slid stopping a few feet from Nakamura's side, damp from the spray of water at the outer edges of the jutsu that had become their rescuing slide. , and feeling rather foolish. However when her eyes glanced up to see the Otokage her moments embarrassment was largely forgotten as she snapped to her feet and glared.
Wahotts shook slightly for a second, to dry himself a bit before Kaida snapped to her feet and he stepped in front of his heckles raising as he bared his teeth caught up in Kaida's sudden shift in feelings. He loosed a low growl as his eyes stared at the powerful kage, disregarding the difference in strength for Kaida's sake. He'd fight anything to keep her safe.
"We came as fast as we could Na- I mean Lady Kage-sama." Kaida had to stop herself from using her teacher's nickname in front of her enemies. "Onii-sama is on his way too. He thinks we are back at the village still." Despite talking to Nakamura, Kaida was still glaring at the Otokage her hand holding tight one of her hidden Kunai fully expecting this to have been an aggressive meeting... So very much like her brother.

Raubahn stared from behind himself at the spectacle that had unfolded."Using a technique that you dont fully understand as it seems...quite dangerous." He thought as he stared his eyes blazed. A tingling sensation forewarned the Anzan clan head that this child would spark a conflict that both of the villages would regret.
eanwhile in a far off alleyway....
"Wow...Nakamura~sama has alot of power!" one of the masked ANBU stated obviously starstruck."Yea...she'll be quite powerful when we get turned into icicles." Stated the other masked ANBU seeming to roll his eyes.

Bury the blade.....
This music to his ears, Kasuke rolled waves of water air over the place, the ice sweating quickly away. His long neck rolled on his shoulders to the small girl who had appeared, shortly followed by a unicorn, no doubt their mysterious mystery guest at it again with tricks. Kasuke breathed a deep breath and bleed the energy through his skin and into the breeze around him, electrifying the air. Hair at the back of his neck and on his arms stood connecting with the energy. He stared on at the girl as music wafted past.
"Yes. More than anything let's return the blades, and every life that they've taken back to the earth where they belong." He said this so softly and quietly it seemed as if to himself, his gaze placid and warm as he stared at the girl, simply looking deep into her eyes.

((Huh? o_O Nooooo! Nyame did not burn the village!!! She had the Katon jutsu hover over, enough to burn away the water in the mist from above.
Kasuke can technically combat that Genjutsu by compressing the wind to force the sound to not be able to carry as far.))
A small smile upon her lips, as Yuumei addressed Kasuke.
"It's whaa-...?"
The effects of the Genjutsu took hold, and Yuumei resisted rolling her eyes as she was forced along in the ridiculous dance.
What a stupid technique... She thought. She may be Odoriko, but that didn't mean she appreciated it.
"Your songs..." Deadpanned Yuumei (expression: -.-), addressing Marcus.
"...still sucks."
As traditional as ever, the Odoriko Sennin was.
And then, she laughed.
"...but thank you..." She said.
"...for trying."

Raubahn glanced towards the rock concert going on...even though he normally wasnt entranced by such a display of ignorance he seemed to be tapping his foot but soon it was more then that...he was soon prancing around and headbanging much like any younger Anzan would be doing
oh wait.....
Thats exactly what Shisui was doing in the next alleyway over along with his Kenkomishi companion both of them seemingly losing their minds to the musical performance in the town swuare.

((Nakamura's Will = 82 <--- Beat the DC by more than 10, applying "Dodge to Save Self and Another" razz Zenjin's Will = 85 <--- See Nakamura Hyousetsu's Will = 80 Ayala's Will = 75))
Nakamura watched on in silence as the music began to slowly come adrift over in their direction. Her calm expression was soon altering to display her eyes in a glare in the distaste she had just gained for this man. Trying to use a Genjutsu on two Kage? Really?
As a Genjutsu master herself, it was easy for her to decipher that this trap would not take hold. She didn't care that he was using a Genjutsu, she cared that it was beginning to affect those around her. Her body walked calmly over to Kaida and placed her hands gently upon the girl's ears to prevent her from being caught in the jutsu.
"It seems you've discovered one of my jutsu... but be sure to practice it. That one in particular is not one that can be used with haste." she whispered, tugging on a piece of Kaida's hair before removing her hands from the girl's ears. With that small amount of pain, the Genjutsu wouldn't have any effect on her.
That was when the unicorn had approached her. While Nakamura had never seen such a creature before, she couldn't help herself but to marvel at her own unique beauty.
"No disrespect intended; Kirin; but who exactly is Marcus? I understand that it is he..." she emphasized, knowing all to well where the unicorn had come from, "but I'll need to know what that assistance will entail."
Taking it upon himself, Zenjin stalked towards his pup, his golden eyes seeming almost misty in the fact that he had learned his lesson well. However, he knew that his pup would not be able to withstand the jutsu for long and would succumb to it in mere moments. He didn't have the training the rest of his pack did... being so young as he was... nor the experiences to decipher such a powerfull jutsu. Wahotts. Pay me no heed. he told his child, quickly nipping Wahott's tail to snap him from the impending dancing.
"Then consider our... Rivalry at a close. As a final solution to this problem, I simply want to address your people... as it seems... that man is taking care of the missing people issue." she said rather blatently to Kasuke. As she watched the trickling crowd of Otogakure begin to pour in, she wasn't sure if everyone was there. Only Kasuke would be able to tell her when they were ready to hear her.
Hyousetsu moved past several entranced citizens before coming across a rather musing display. A man in a mask... bobbing his head up and down in a rather rapid succession. Humans... I never quite understood those outside of her. They were always simply fleshy meatbags... amusing as they are.
Ayala turned to Kaida after she spoke of Kusari coming to the Sound Village. This can't be good. she said more to herself than to her fellow companions. Instead, she felt her tail shifting in rythmn with the music. Get ahold of yourself. Either Nakamura understood and didn't care... or she wants him to show up here..... Ayala could only guess at her charge's thoughts, for they were closed to her while she was focused on preventing the Genjutsu's hold.

[You guys didnât really HAVE to dodge since it wasnât really focused here but oh well. No big deal. It was more so just a storyline plot. But at either chance, Marcus now has a new slave *grins to Yuumei*
As of right now, the music is still playing but the genjutsu aspect is deactivated after this post]]
Kirin smiled to the woman⊠although it was a smile with a tension/sweat drop at the same time. âHe⊠didnât really introduce himself again did heâŠ?â the horse sighed deeply as she stood before the lady kage. She would kneel again and soon have swirlies of depression around herself. âI try so hard to raise him with proper manors and⊠when it matters most around his fellow Kageâs he spits on them. Iâve failed as a mother havenât IâŠ?â
A grown horse crying⊠yea⊠yea it was a disturbing sight to be sure. However, she bounced back quickly and shook her head, âI beg your apologies Ms.â She would turn to the Otokage and speak to him as well⊠âAnd you dear sir. I beg your forgiveness for my sonâs lack of manors.â
Turning back to Nakamura, âLet me rectify this by speaking of him. My sonâs name is Taida Marcus of Iwagakure. He is the current Tsuchikage although youâd never know it by his behavior. He is wild⊠and yet beautiful in that respect I think. He is a free spirit and that is why heâs here in Otogakure. He simply had a whim to come visit the village that taught him so much of the ways of music and so he did. Nothing more or less. As for his intentions⊠well he merely saw a beautiful woman and thought youâd be a lovely addition to his performance. However he noticed the amount of care you too to your clothing and so he wishes to buy you new ones for the performance so if you get sweaty or some such thing, it wonât bother them as much.â
Lies⊠well truthful lies. Marcus had noticed her care during the fight and he was worried about her sweating and the clothes she was wearing but not for as noble a reason as Kirin has spoke. Of course, Kirin didnât know that⊠at least not with 100% accuracy but she had a hunch. Never the less, that was what Marcus had asked her to tell the woman if she asked.
As for Marcus himself, he was getting around at the fruits of his labor and soon looked up to the rooftops. He had heard the woman Yuumie speaking to him and smiled up to him. Thatâs when he noticed her beginning to dance. Granted, she had enough control to do a dance of her own design but she was still caught in his power, caught in the vibe of the dance.
He looked out to the crowd, âCome on Otogakure! You canât let fear grip your hearts! Let the music move you! Let the vibe flow through your core! This is the village of sound⊠or so I thought. I donât see ANY of you with any real rhythm or soul except that little lady right THERE!â
[Hybrid / number 17 on my playlist begins to play]
Marcus grins as he begins to strum his guitar. However, just as he strikes the first cord, he would vanish from view. The line connecting his guitar to the large speakers would stay there and would easily be traced up to the rooftop where Yuumie was. Marcus appeared behind the Sannin and looked to her, âAnswer me this Sannin of the land of rice and sound. Have you ever danced with the Devil in the pale moon light?â He would extend his hand to the woman to dance with him.

((Ha ha, Xen already used that line once... of course it was as menacing threat.))
Xen landed on the roof quite amazed, his eyes actively showing his shock. "Well... I'm man enough to admit it, of all the things I expected to find... this was not one of them."
Kimiko was staring completely amazed "Oh wow! Is this...is this a concert or something!? I...I mean...and since when did all the people start returning from the mountain!?"
Xenon dawned a slightly lopsided smile. "Interesting... he seems to have used this genjutsu to bring everyone back now that the battle is over... fascinating..." he pulled out his small black note book and began scribbling in it. "Very fascinating indeed, imagine using music as a medium for Genjutsu... I'd imagine seeing as this is the village of sound it wouldn't be to hard for me to find a Genjutsu with a similar effect...hmm"
Kimiko sighed slightly as Maboroshi entered one of his "Fascinating!" moods. She rolled her eyes and turned them back to the crowd. The village seemed to have returned and she even saw a fair many people dancing and happy. She smiled slightly. Well, this was certainly weird, but...she liked weird. Seeing the people unafraid, happy, that was what she liked more than anything, that was why she wanted to be a heroine in the first place. She wanted everyone in the world, even for a moment, to be happy.
Xenon shut his notebook and slipped it and his pen back inside his coat. "It seems he's cut the Genjutsu, and the situation is resolved..." his eyes scanned the gathering crowd, and he spotted the Otokage. "There is Lord Kasuke now... it seems he's parle'ing with Lady Nakamura after all...good." he turned to Kimiko "We should deliver that one to the ANBU, or Chuunin Authorities..."
Kimiko turned her head and seemed to remember she had a criminal slung over her shoulder "Oh... right."
"Yo!" They both turned to see Mikito running up to join them Mokutan swooping down from above to land on Xen's shoulder.
"Mission accomplished chief." Mokutan said proudly, but his attention was on the concert "Well hell, now this is my kind of party! Do ya think that guy playin brought any booze?"
Xen ignored him "Kaito-san...your timing is impeccable... I hate to count on your help again, but could you take this criminal to the lock up?" He pulled his note book out again only to rip an empty page. "Here...this is my unofficial account of matters...just give them this and I suppose you can call us even."
Mikito gave a slightly amused smile as he took the unconscious criminal from Kimiko, the girl herself looking slightly confused, like she was missing something here.
"Even huh? Heh...yeah right." Mikito it seemed had regained some use back in his left arm because he was able to take the note from Xen with his free hand, though his fingers were still trembling slightly. "See you around then."
Xenon nodded, smiling in his mellow way. "Indeed." Mikito took off and Xen turned back to the event. "Well... what to do now?"
Kimiko blinked a few times "Um...well..." 'Do you...want to dance? AH! Wh-where did that come from!? I don't want to dance with Maboroshi! That's crazy! I don't even know HOW to dance...thank god I didn't say that out loud...'
Mokutan of course exclaimed "What are ya kidding me boss?! There's a party goin on here! We gotta join in! Yo Kimi-tan, you wanna go party right! Come on I'll bet you cut a rug when it comes to dancin!"
Kimiko shook her head for some reason slightly red "No...I don't really know how to dance at all." 'No! No dancing! NO! No way! Never!'
Xen pushed up his glasses "Besides...we've still got to report to the Lord Kage before we can be excused from emergency duty... until then it would be most unprofessional to just burst out in dance."
Kimiko seemed utterly relieved for one reason or another.
Mokutan made a booing sound "Awww, that's no fun Chief." suddenly he turned to Lag and Hiro, who'd been close behind the pair. The Crow had seen Hiro before...but who was the kid. That's exactly why he asked "Who's the kid?"

Hiro walked next to the pair and surveyed the area for himself. People were dancing, but judging by the fact that he had not been ensorcelled by the Genjutsu himself, the jutsu wasn't active anymore. Hiro smiled as Kimiko hopped around the fact that she probably wanted to dance. "They seem to be speaking.. Interjecting might not be good. For now I guess we should just wait" With that, Hiro sat down on the edge of the roof top.
Lag jumped behind the group and watched Shin be taken away, "Good riddance.. I hope he gets locked up" Lag jumped when he heard Mokutan talk. A talking bird wasn't something he'd seen before. He assumed that the bird was talking to him and answered accordingly, "My name is Lag.. And.. What is yours?" He squinted his eye in a look of confusion ((Time to pull a Proto here.. Looks like 0.o)). A talking bird.
Gomankeii yawned and stretched within Hiro's conciseness. He started to prod through Hiro's memories and found the most interesting thing. While he was sleeping, Hiro had fought with another Ninja. He cackled and thought to himself, "That tickle of chakra I felt earlier.. I should have awoken! I didn't expect Hiro to fight using taijutsu" He smiled and thought, "That was his first victory since he had been within his mind.. He should be rewarded" Gomankeii's face twisted into a smile, and he slowly mused, "Hiro.. I have something I'd like to tell you about that lady over there. I see you were victorious over some peasant.. Therefore, I believe you should be rewarded."
Hiro's eyes became sharp as he heard Gomankeii speaking to him. "What are you going to tell me?" He thought, addressing Gomankeii. Hiro hoped that of all times he could do it, that Gomankeii wouldn't decide to take him over in some power trip. Although it didn't seem like it, Hiro stayed on guard, "Which lady?"
Gomankeii answered, "That one.." And with that, Hiro's eyes turned to Nakamura. "She... Is your Takikage"

Raubahn and the two ANBU in the distant alleyway stopped their sudden dancing the two ANBU sweating but...the ANZAN ANBU and head elders where agitated and their eyes burned with an azure blue flame."INSOLENCE!" Both Anzan shouted drowned out by the rock concert above and as the kenkomishi drowned out the music he rolled his eyes and stared at the newcomer." If Yuumei~sama wasnt under a genjutsu...im pretty sure she would knock the s**t outa that random guy!" Shif stated folding his arms and fuming as he stared from the alleyway to the rooftops.

Mokutan tilted his head slightly, his eyes now in better position to observe the boy. "Eh, name's Mokutan Kid." he turned his head toward Xenon. Speaking in a hiss, as though he thought he was a whisper, though was still rather audible. "I don't like this kid... he looks too...nice."
Xenon pushed up his glasses, rather amused. "Now Mokutan, you shouldn't be so contrary. Wasn't I too "nice" when we first met?"
The Crow ruffled his feathers. "Hey, hey, you were like six, and you're an exception boss. I mean how many people's villages turn around and try to kill them- mmph dhsj!" Xen's fingers had secured his pet's beak shut.
"Now, now, it's bad form to go around telling other peoples stories." His eyes met the bird's, their two golden gazes locking while Xen's seemed to become dangerous. "Besides, I don't like to brag."
He released the bird's beak and the bird coughed slightly "S-sorry boss. Gotcha. Manners." The bird turned around back to Lag. "It's nice to meet ya."
Xen's eyes were calm once more, turning back out to the concert. "Momoe-san, is something wrong? You're giving me a strange look."
Kimiko looked slightly taken aback for a moment, but her expression straightened itself, her gaze turning to the event before them as well. "No...it's nothing." She looked a little more distant all of a sudden. 'Maboroshi... so...it's not just his mother's sacrifice for him...but his village tried to kill him? But why? And...Moku says that he was actually a nice boy when he was six? That was only two years before I met him, when he entered the academy. What happened between then and then...' she crossed her arms. 'Darn it Maboroshi... I'm gonna figure out what made you into an anti hero, then I swear I'll get you to see the light! Yeah! It's a Heroine's promise!'

Lag ignored the bird's comment and said, "Likewise..." I guess. He diverted his attention away from the bird because honestly, it creeped him out. Even when he was a runner for illegal goods and saw many unusual things, he never saw anything of the avian-talking kind. "Hiro, I've never met the Otokage before, let alone a kage from another village.. Should I act a certain way? What if I accidentally offend them?"
Lag's question was lost on Hiro. Hiro had entered a trance like state, trying to commune with the creature inside of him. The conversation he was about to have would be held solely in his head. "So.. I am a citizen of Takigakure?" Hiro turned his head down, trying to remember his life there, "I don't remember much. Wait- Raine. Who is he? Did I save his life?"
Gomankeii shrugged and said in a huff, "You didn't save a thing. Kusari SPARED Raine. And if it wasn't for that, he would be dead. Simple. In fact, a lot of your accomplishments were based on dumb luck. The simple act of shielding an enemy villager should of had you killed for treason. Luckily, you have a merciful Kage" Gomankeii laughed and disappeared from Hiro's sight.
Hiro began to remember the finer details of that situation. Kusari, which was the Takikage Nakamura's friend and a new member of the Fifth Dawn, had hit Raine with the blunt side of his sword. Then, he was put under a Genjutsu. He was lucky to be alive. Hiro then addressed Gomankeii, "Don't leave. I still have one more question. If I am a citizen of Takigakure, then why do I have memories of the sand?"
Gomankeii spoke from every direction, "I don't know. I have shared your memory ever since I entered your mind. Anything before that I can't tell you." Gomankeii's eyes narrowed in annoyance. "I'll tell him everything. But I won't mention that Hikaru. That was all so... Disgusting. I'll be glad to purge it from his mind" Gomankeii cackled.
Lag looked at Hiro with concern. Hiro's eyes were completely glazed over. Lag walked closer to Hiro and sat down next to him. He slowly lifted his hand and poked Hiro in the arm, rocking him slightly. "Hiro... Are you okay?"
Hiro snapped out of his state. "Well.. I still have things to ask you. But that can come later". Hiro then turned his head to Lag and smiled, "I'm sorry. Just tired I guess" Lag asked his question again, and Hiro responded this time, "I wouldn't worry about it. They are both kind people, although the Takikage can be pretty... Cold." Hiro winced as the pun left his lips. Luckily the horrible joke was lost on Lag, and nobody else would have to hear it.

She raised an eyebrow, merely held up her yari spear, and taking her opposing hand's finger to the point, took care to p***k her finger. This particular Genjutsu...a few moments was enough to figure out what it did and to find the exact amount of counter-balance. She knew of the people of Konoha's less...convenient methods, they not the kind willing to take a chance, but Yuumei fortunately had not inherited that particular sort of self-injury streak from her Konoha mentors. And the pain, although minute, with the steady drip of ruby-red drops from the acupuncture wound, her movements stilled, and a smile appeared on her lips.
Her right fingers just curled up...you know, a natural reaction really.
A twitch of the eyebrow.
She addressed Kasuke. "Otokage-sama...requesting permission."
Permission? For what?
Her arm went up.
And naturally, her fist went out.
...she had decided Taida Marcus could use a little bit of force to put him back to reality. Or if that didn't work, at the least he'll have a proud bruise to display on his cheek. And all the while, that sweet, sweet smile did not - not - leave her lips.
