You still know more about it than I do.
I don't read comics, period.
My dad told me that one of his friends is doing a LARP (he told me this because I am a gamer).
I don't LARP. Period. When I RP, it's either stuff like I do here on gaia, or I have a set of dice in my hands.
The LARP would end up going like this with me in it:
Other LARPer: Draw your sword, knave!
Me: Ha, you were a fool to challenge me! Roll initiative! (I throw a d20 at him)

Academy X in a nutshell. (Reaver, have you read it?)
Genosha, Magneto's mutant haven, was nuked. He hade a copy cat of him blow up New York. World loathes mutants. Xavier's place is safe.
Mutants of all types go to the Institute. It's just like a regular old high school. There are ALOT of students. The Hellions retain the 'bad boy/Brotherhood' approach. They're Emma Frost's team of students. The New Mutants are the 'good guys' team. Much conflict goes on since they're all together in one school.
Xavier doesn't run the Institute in the book. Scott and Emma do.

hmm well I had an idea, I have been throwing past cloudkicker and sith back and forth
Basically mastermind has a devious plot. He created droids that are specially designed to be destroyed at first, as the send info of their demise to the mother board. New robots are created with defenses agaist mutant tactics, leading them to invincibility.
And to aid in a second a villian I want go along with my old plat that siryn is found amensia like, and master mid convences her to be dark scream... or mabe not I dont know just a suggestion

Is Xavier dead or something?
Ok, so New York is gone. The world hates all mutants, Xaviers has two groups, the Hellions ("bad" guys) and the New Mutants ("good" guys).
Are there characters who aren't really part of either group? I mean, they attend the school, but don't really associate with either side?

People thik Xavier is dead but he's in the ghetto Genosha at the moment with the real Magneto.
New York is there, just attacked.
Yea, there are a lot of characters who don't want to be x-men or bad guys. They're just there to go to school and then move onto college or something.

Interesting, but it wouldn't be EVO if it was Academy X. Then we wouldn't be the EVO guild anymore, we'd be the Academy X guild.

Mastermind is just an illusionist, not a builder. He usually is doing underhanded things for somebody like the Hellfire Club.
Cameron Hodge would be somebody who would do something like that. He is a crazy mother.
This sounds like something like Alpha Sentinels. That definately is always a good running plot.
Just throwing an idea out there, Moren. Technically, Evolution is an Evolution from the X-Men in many senses.

There are always wayts to interact no matter the playing field. Evolution always has Bayville High to interact.
