Acelr The Knave just smiled at Ora pleasantly. "The Knave of Clubs," the Knave told her. Leaning back, the Knave pulled out a spiked mace and smashed Ruby's head into pulp with one very swift and fluid move. "No emotional attachments," the Knave said in monotone, standing. "And my queen would have been pleased." Ora was swifter still, a blast of dark energy pushed the spiked mace back and away from Ruby's face. Her crimson eyes flashed. "Do not be foolish." She said it simpley, and stepped forward, standing between the knave and Ruby. She of course understood the irony of her protecting Ruby and almost wanted to laugh, but she was one to pay her debts.

Acelr ignored them, caring niether about poison nor about being crushed. Actually, she just didn't care, period.
"Touchy, touchy..." she teased with a broadening smile. Her eyes glittered, and golden sparks gathered at her feet.
Finally, after a moment that seemed to last far longer than time counted it, her left eye twitched, and Acelr sighed impatiently. "Fine."
She crossed her arms in front of her and swung them both outward, slicing half the attacking vines with her sword and half with the silver dagger. The vines kept coming, the thorns growing longer and sharper as Death grew even more angry. "You will die today!"
In a grating voice normally reserved for fire victims and men trying to sound like and evil overlord, Acelr replied, "You can't kill the dead."She launched herself at Death with a trail of golden sparkles, blades crossed before her as they had been when she slashed the vines apart.

Blitz slid to a stop and set Amanda down. "Did you catch the explanation before?" He questioned as he turned to the knave and Ora. "Ora what's up?"

((swift enough, she already had the blast prepared the moment the knave approached, and it was targeted for any action of aggression...Her auto-defense, I've used it before I believe. So it wasn't Ora herself sending it out so to speak.))

Acelr just grinned and winked, slashing at Death's chest as she had done the vines.The slash at Death's chest healed immediately, an echoing scream coming from Ora further away. A stone hand shot from the base of the hole, grabbing Acelr, and pulled her back.
