The lower half of the model is green stuffed and sculpted, along with some of the chest and back growths. Sorry for the bad pics, cell phone. It's supposed to be an evolving spawn I suppose, just came up with the idea. 5hours work.

Firstly, thank you for using this thread rather than making one.
Secondly, regardless of photo quality points just for sculpting something freehand.
By evolving spawn, do you mean from that psyk power gift of chaos or whatever where you can turn a model into a chaos spawn, or just a generic spawn model but converted to look unique?
And out of my own curiosity, is that a specific marine from a certain chapter, or just something you threw together?

Well I used the new Black Templar conversion sprues, mostly because they look really good. I had a few choices, but I guess I wanted the marine to be specifically touched by the void, just a lucky heretic I suppose especially because he's a turned ''divine crusader''. On the specific marine question, I'll just end up scanning the Templar codex for a name. No one special, though.

By specific marine I meant one of the known chapters or legions, or one of your own, etc. Basically a fluff question.

Either Undevided chaos or Tzeetch When I get a digital camera I'll take a few pictures of it and afew of my other conversions..

This is the current state of the Death Korps of Krieg 501st Regiment: Soon to be in are three Thudd gun teams, an Executioner turrent, and sooner or later, some Death Riders. I'll post the detail pictures later once I shrink them down and whatnot.

Okay, I've sized down all of the other pictures and uploaded them, so... here we go. First is my tank. It was my Vanquisher (and the Vanquisher turrent is still on it) but I decided to make a Exterminator with three Heavy Bolters, and just have my Vanquisher with a single requisite Heavy Bolter. After all, when would it not use its ultra tank death cannon? I tried to make it have some WWII German-esque camo, and it came out alright, I should've used more reference. (And that is a .22 rifle round, and is actually the perfect fit for the Battle Cannon/Vanquisher.) http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y198/rashakiya/Warhammer/Camo1.jpghttp://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y198/rashakiya/Warhammer/Camo2.jpgNext is my commissars. I have two of the Armageddon ones, and one of the rare-ish female commissars, which I love dearly. She originally came with a really old school laspistol, but I cut it off and replaced it with the Sister Superior plasma pistol. (Take note that both models are made of metal...) I'm very pleased with the paint job, and especially the details on the face (which you can't really see). http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y198/rashakiya/Warhammer/Commissars1.jpghttp://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y198/rashakiya/Warhammer/Commissars2.jpgThese are the Death Korps Genadiers. They kick a**. http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y198/rashakiya/Warhammer/Grenadiers1.jpgThis series of photos is of my painted Death Korps troops lined up behind some mounds of dirt... or something. I made them both myself, and obviously, one is of much higher quality than the other. A few details I'd like to point out are the smoke coming out of the flamer, which I think is pretty neat; and the autocannon, which just kicks a**. http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y198/rashakiya/Warhammer/Line1.jpghttp://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y198/rashakiya/Warhammer/Line2.jpghttp://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y198/rashakiya/Warhammer/Line3.jpghttp://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y198/rashakiya/Warhammer/Line4.jpghttp://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y198/rashakiya/Warhammer/Line5.jpgAnd lastly, a couple of Tau that I've painted up. I was inspired by a Golden Daemon winning entry which had a custom made Crisis suit, and I decided that I'd use a similar colour scheme, somewhat urban and badass looking. http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y198/rashakiya/Warhammer/Tau1.jpghttp://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y198/rashakiya/Warhammer/Tau2.jpghttp://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y198/rashakiya/Warhammer/Tau3.jpg

Xenos, now that I see your tank camo scheme, I can say that it looks effective, not quite German era camo, but it does hint at it in broad strokes. I like it.

Germans didn't have alot of camo, they mostly wore grey and black because it was guerrila warfare in buildings and streets. Look up Forgeworld.com for model suggestions.

Granted, this is a good example of a WW1 German uniform, used fighting in trenches: http://www.diggerhistory.info/images/uniforms3/1917front.jpg In WW2, most commonly German soldiers were found wearing a unique pattern of camoflague, looking like this: http://www.tridentmilitary.com/New-photos16/rgc4b.jpg Most conflict durring both wars (in fact, almost all conflict) was fought in the wilderness, and small villages. However, there are notable exceptions, such as the sieges of Stalingrad and Leningrad, and the Soviet taking of Berlin. There are instances of using urban camo, using greys and blacks, but this was an exception, not the rule.
