Well, the exam is done! I have no idea how I did though - I have to give up to 4 weeks for the delivery of the test results. I am completely drained after this test though. *snores*
On the plus side, I found some fantastic shoes at payless for half off! And with the weight loss not only am I down a pant and shirt size, I'm down a half size in my shoes. smile
Woo woo to Golden Sage for that!

Ha ha! That sounds like me. "I went to payless and got a pair of shoes half off" I LOVE shopping for shoes. Even though my feet are huge-I love buying shoes and finding cute ones. Like these little black mary-jane shoes I got at a boutique. ^-^ I love them.
I'm sorry you have to wait for your test scores for so long-that is annoying, but it is also great to finally have the exam or test out of your way... so its a good evil. (That doesn't make sense, but oh well)
Well, Hopefully you'll get some sleep tonight to repair all of the energy lost.

I love shoes now - it always seemed like the cute shoes were gone when I got there. But now that I'm a smaller size, they are there! smile
I got these:

and

Aren't they adorable! The cutest flats I've seen, although there was another pair of flats and a pair of heels I would have loved to take home with me. smile

Congratulations! I'm still a humble first year-I cannot get on as often as I would like.
So, how is everyone this fine day?
I hope you are all well. For I do not know about the rest of you, but I'm hoping it will begin to snow today...that will be a good and a bad thing. #1 I'm not bringing a coat with me to school, and #2 I'll be in a classroom if it DOES snow, and that's depressing. No one should be forced to stay inside when it's snowing outside. Now for the good-I LOVE SNOW! There's something about the winter crystals that cover everything within reach that is magnetizing, and captivating. Have you looked at a field or flat patch completely frosted in that icy lace-and then you saw the morning sun shed light upon it. It seems that thousands of fragmented diamonds were splintered and littered all over the ground-a rich gift to behold. It is fascinating. I love snow. I love how thy sky is always over-cast, and the sun hides his face. The silent world yeilds, as it does not to many other things, to the falling cotton, it is hard to compare. What pleasure is in the child's eyes when she finds after a warm restful sleep, a blanket of glittering snow outside of her window? Snow.
Winter is my favorite time of year, it's true, for so many more reasons than I can express. Thanks for listening and have a great day!

Congratulations Candy! smile
No worries Empress, you'll get there.
I completely understand where you're coming from with snow - I love snow as well. Unfortunately, I really haven't had a chance to really enjoy snow since I moved down south (no white christmas for me this year..)
My favorite season is autumn - I truly love watching the season turn! The whole concept of the leaves changing, falling, twirling on the breeze.. Seeing tree's in all their glory with the branches stretching into the sky - beautiful. So many people hate autumn because 'everything is dying' - but I LOVE the whole idea of the season. Yes, everything is 'dying' but it's not a permanent death - it's a season of peace and contemplation; without this season spring and summer would have no glory.
To me, it's so peaceful and fills me with hope. No matter how dreary something seems like it is, there is always a season of hope and life to follow. I feel like this is another way for God to display his glory and to remind us of the possibility of redemption.

Sadly...it didn't snow today, but I DID clean out my car today! ^-^ I love my car-his name is Snoopy....(he's black and white).
I hate it when people have only the shallowest of retorts to my like of seasons by saying "It's a dead season." How "lame" is that?! Fall and winter are my times of the year. A cool breeze replaces the suffocating heat of summer, and people pull inwards and find more time to spend with family. The season brings that time when people turn their heads from their downfalls and problems, and look at their blessings. During the fall, the reds and golds show their beauty, and truly bring about the rich "warms" (as in colors) in the world. And then after their moment of bright glory, the trees shed their leaves to the joy of children wishing to jump into the piles of crackling paper. The mighty oak is stripped down to his bare skeleton, left only in his simple state...but oh, the beauty that is still to come. When white diamonds descend from the steel grey sky they layer the ground with white frosting, making the world like one large three-D cake. The trees are black and skeletal against the newly spread layer of powdered sugar, and all the land is a white playground. It is like the ending of a day. Spring is the morning, Summer is mid-day, Autumn is evening, and Winter is the night. It is the world's day that is taking into effect-all are necessary parts to our world.
Others do prefer warmer seasons compared to people like me, who seem to be uneffected by the cold, and love the white purity and rich chocolatey goodness of winter and fall. Some like the blooming flowers and cool showers that spring brings, while others prefer the dazzling sun that bakes the world (like Bella! -Oh, such a great series!-).
It is true, Orna-that spring and summer would have no beauty, no magic without the change from winter to the coming of spring.
I want to here your (Orna's) and everyone elses opionions. Question: What is your favorite season and why? (No "dumping" on the other seasons. ^-^)

I cannot understand not having seen snow-or not having a white christmas, or snow in the winter! I cannot fathom it, nor do I wish to...one season that doesn't bring snow seems like an imperfect world. Snow is unique and beautifully pure, and there is only one time of year that it comes, although I would like it to come more often. The crackle of the wet packing snow beneath your feet as you wonder through a forest of frosting...the feeling of cold lace flecked in your eye lashes, the taste of snow. To never take a handfull of snow in your bare hands and "chuck" it at your house? Never to feel just how red your hands are after delving them into the frozen snow? It hurts me just thinking about it. Why would there be a reason to come inside and grab a cup of hot chocolate, warming your aching hands? I cannot imagine a world without snow....

It's definitely hard to have a Christmas without snow - or a season without snow.. I know the first winter I had after moving into the south was hard. I would love to see snow sometime this winter.
