Ronin Misaki Rayne Hawk Ronin Misaki Rayne Hawk Rayne blinked, her eyes fogged again. "I... couldn't be sure..." she sat next to him and looked at the sky; already it was evening with spotted stars. "I can't remember their faces... I only remember stories told to me. Other than that, everything's... gone from my memory." She sighed, leaning back on her hands. "What about you? What's your history, Ronin?" "My history.." Ronin repeated like he had just forgotten al labout it. "Well...I was born in a not so rich village. My mother died when I became 2 years old. I lived with my father ever since, who was a samurai and a very strong swordsman. He trained me when I was 4 to become a swordsman. He trained me until I was 7 years old, when he died by sacrificing himself just to protect innocent villagers from a murderous ninja clan. Now I lived by myself and traveled by myself for a while to train as a warrior like my father." He looked back up in the sky, perhaps in the heavens where his parents were. "I miss my parents. I truly have wished I could meet my mother...." Rayne smiled wanly. "At least you can remember one of them... I don't remember mine, and not of my own choice," she whispered quietly. Swallowing, she patted his shoulder warmly for comfort. "I'm sorry to hear that, though... I don't even know if my parents are alive or not... I was told they died protecting me, others say that they disappeared to come back later for me..." She shook her head, her eyes closed. "I don't know what to think..." "Who knows? Perhaps your parents aren't dead yet. I knwo for sure mine died..." he smiled sadly at her. A tear flowed down his eye though, and he couldn't help but just let the tears flow, so he hugged Rayne close to him like she was the only person left for him. Rayne blinked at the sudden gesture and put her arm around his shoulder. "I'm... I'm sorry..." she said quietly. "I wish... I wish I could help you." Her breathing was different, no longer elegant and even, but too human like to be anything like a nymph would do. Even for mourning, she didn't sound right. Her hand slipped into her pocket and withdrew a small necklace that seemed ancient and scratched with age. "I could.." she took a pause to breathe normally, "I could time travel.. and bring back pictures, if you'd like... But I'm not sure what age I'd be if I get back.." She tried not to emphasize on 'if' for his sake.

He was more afraid of what might happen to her because of how she was uncertain as to what my happen to her should she time travel. "I already have pictures of my parents here in my wallet." he took out his wallet from his pocket and opened it. There in the transparent sleeve was a picture of a middle aged man with messy hair and a topknot with facial stubble who looked very much like Ronin, and a beautiful, young woman with silky brown hair tied into a bun. The man was wearing a traditional hakama and geta, and though he stood tall, he had a silly but brave grin on his face, much like Ronin's grin; silly, but friendly and confident. The woman had such a young pretty face she almost looked like she could've been Ronin's sister.

Some wandering woman once mistakened me for Ryomaru, thanking me for saving her village, which was the one my father had saved..." it seemed more or less that he's just trying to get back to having a normal conversation, though he still thought of his parents and loved them in his mind.

((ok, I AM LOST IN THE WORLD OF SKATEING!!! so i rely on YouTube videos to get my way out...))
"Hmm, that boy seems kinda good, right?" Kat asked, but she smiled. "Still, I bet Mikey can do better." She was fasinated by the abrupt movements and the smoothness of their landings. Her life and her movements had always been rough and clumsy. Heh, I'll never skate...
((nah, she just seemed kinda abandoned, so i just felt like talking to her))

Rayne blinked at his expression, obvious that she was either confused or was trying to think of something to say. "Hmmm.." she pondered to herself. Then she made a snap decision. "Be back in a moment. I need to stretch.."
She stood up and walked to the edge of the building, jumping off and diving head first for the ground. In an instant moment before a foot of reaching the ground, she spiraled upward, leaving a trail of sparkles behind her, her wings beating evenly, quietly. Ah... it's been so long..! she thought. I love this feeling...!
Circling the building just a few more times, she landed on her toes, her eyes deep in thought. She eyed Ronin with an awkward look, thinking up something fun for him, though she wasn't sure he'd be afraid of heights. "Ronin..." she said finally. "Want a ride around?"

((Haha, yeah, Youtube is where I learned how to Kickflip and how to Shuv-it and Pop Shuv-it)) "Yep yep, Mikey's a lot better than how he's doing." Glane said, a dissatisfied smile on his face. He knew that the kid wasn't going to be that great, but couldn't Mikey try and pull something off that was a bit better?
The boy laughed and dropped in, a quick one footed nose manual up to the tip of Mikey's end of the ramp and back. "Go, old man".
Mikey rolled his eyes 'puss' he thought as he dropped in, he gained a lot of speed quickly this time, he kicked hard against the ramp and got major air. A triple Kickflip and a double Impossible were his tricks, and they seemed to send everyone into shock and awe. The crowd cheered loudly and you could see Mikey flush right red.
Glane rolled his eyes "Okay not that big! Show off!" he yelled at Mikey.

You mean you'll fly me around?" he was use to heights (he's jumped off the top of the roof before). But then he looked at her with concern. "Well, I'm not sure if I'm heavy or not to you, but I hope I wouldn't put too much strain on your body while you're flying."

Kat laughed and agreed with Glane. Mikey was certainly performing well, . That kid was in for it, but why did Mikey hesitate? Only he knew. She smiled. Mikey seemed like he wasn't used to attention and praise.
"What? You jealous?" she joked with Glane.

You'll never get the physics of nymphs..." she said when she walked forward and past Ronin to get behind him and hook her arms under his shoulders. Easily she lifted him up about ten feet before placing him carefully on the roof again. "See? Do you want to go for a ride? You'll have to hold on tight." Rayne smiled warmly.

He knew that Mikey wasn't blushing because he was unused to the limelight, it was because he didn't think he was good. The boy dropped in and rode up the ramp without any single emotion in his eyes. The boy hardflipped and Mikey tappes his trucks against the boy's deck, it set him off balance, and he fell. The boy skid to the ground on his pads. "Good game, old man" the boy said, smiling still though he had lost. "You got passion kid" Mikey said with a smile as he shook his hand "What's your name?" "Rowan" he said "My parents are ex-hippies" he continued, his smile never leaving his face.

Ronin felt liek he was flying by himself, except with her support, since she carried him effortlessly. He was already having this exilerating feeling, that he'd wanna fly around again. He turned to her and smiled cheerfully "Yesh!! I wanna ride!" he laughed and relaxed himself to let himself be carried.
