Did I ever tell ya about the scouts? When I was younger, I was in the girl scouts. BUNCH OF SLUTTY LITTLE PERVERTS. stare All this order, all this 'be nice for society'.....and yet those brats were bloody messed up in the head! THAT is what happens when you try to make kids and teens conform. Just DON'T!
That was back when I was still in my "Eurekaintheearlyeps" phase too, so you can't imagine the torment.....Sho being in scouts says alot about him....

Oooh, boy, I bet! Especially after what my friend has told me about the scouts. Back before the 70s they actually go to go out and do cool things. And their clothing was actually good and useful back then. My friend went out and got the old clothing because he didn't want to wear that cheap crap they were now.
He told me they cut the neckerchief in half so it was pretty much useless after that. Before it was a full-on square that the kids could do cool things with. And the clasps that keep them around the neck don't work; they just slide off. My friend had to go to an antique store to get a functional one.
And man, the clothes. Those little shorts can't do crap. They're some cheap little cloth thing that only covers the butt and some of the upper leg. Back before they changed that, they had full on pants you could go roughing it in.
The boy and girl scouts are just a joke now. Because of kid safety laws and crap, they can't go out and go roughing it in some woods or go climb Mt. McKinley or whatever.

Oh trust me Rekka, scouts is annoying and torture even WITHOUT getting to climb mountains.
You know what I did on every trip we ever went on?!
I got shoved off stuff, tripped, tricked into doing things, stuffed into a CLOSET more than once, and just plain laughed at because 1) I don't cuss and 2) I didn't know the definitions of any of the perverted nasty words the girls talked about when the leaders were busy.
I dunno much about the boys end...Sho says he's an eagle scout...whatever the hell that means. I think he's a mama's boy. stare

And Eagle Scout is the highest rank a boy scout can be. They're like... the supreme and top of the totem pole. Of course now, I don't think there's anything that great about it since the scouts pretty much suck and all.
And that poor Sho. His mother sure is controlling and domineering. I bet he's an only child, huh? She needs to learn to let go and let him do his own stuff. She's like Ned Flanders; she doesn't let her kid go out and experience stuff, it seems. Glad I'm not her kid. razz

The only camp I've ever been to is one of the the ones my church organization organizes. We've got them all over the US, one in Chile, and one in Ghana.
But even some of the kids there are pretty wordly, too. But the worst you get from them is just some cuss words. Man.. almost my whole dorm last year hated our counselor. They'd talk badly about her all the time. But they all love our assistant counselor! xd

I went to a soccer camp once and we did all sorts of stuff most of it consisted of setting up times with the boys cabins to sneak out at night. It was fun.

I was....really weird back then, yeah. >>;; Actually guys, in real life I don't cuss. On the internet or in writing yes, but audible speech doesn't work. It gives me an icky sort of feeling like things touching me...>.<
I'm glad too. My mom's niece Laura is a HUGE controlling nutcase. Her oldest girl, my second cousin, is almost my age. She's home schooled, not aloud to watch gory movies, has only a few friends that have to be religious...hell, I don't even think when she was young her mom let her use dolls because they were naked.....NUTCASE.
Reason 138 why I don't go to family reunions. They'd think I was evil, and then I'd have to kill them for being churchy god-humping freaks. Faith is one thing......

I need to get really angry to say the SH word, and I've only said the F word once in my life and I've regreted it ever since. I really want to get better on my language, I really do! ^__^''
Wow... crazy cousin. o_O` I'm going to try and not be a domineering b*tch on my kids, they need to be exposed to some things in life that can help them later as adults.
Man... I'd love to go to a family reunion on my dad's side. That is... if any members besides cousins and distant cousins were the only ones alive! xd

Rekk, I'm glad to see you want to expose your kids to stuff like that and let them know it's bad and such. Hiding children from things like that at the expense of their innocence is just stupid. Knowledge is the best way to handle things, and it teaches you how to react to certain situations BEFORE they arise. *cough* Anyway... that's just my thoughts. ninja

Just another reason I'll never have kids....too much hassle.
Yeah, my mom's side of the family is all a bunch of freaks. I think the only reason they let her stay around is because their religiousness keeps them from being unkind to their 'family'. (And yet they dislike me...must be my aura. I'm too 'influential'.)
And my dad...well, he has no family. He was adopted, and everyone in his adopted family are either freaks or died.
We're more like the black wolves in the fam. Or rather, I am. I dunno, I guess religious morons are scared of someone who just knows their all full of three kinds of excrement. mrgreen
