Gaijin. I'm so ******** fed up of this. Would you leave the leadership to me? I mean, last time I checked I was the one who paid 20k for this guild. GaijinFlameSage Well Rikku, the thing about it is that there are a lot of stupid people. I'll admit, I have a personality that starts fights at times and I'm truly sorry about that. But the thing is that you are the leader and the leader has duties. GaijinFlameSage Honestly, I don't want to be an a** about it but when you take on a leadership role you take on responsibility and the job of dealing with those people. If people don't read the rules and obey them, kick them out. GaijinFlameSage If you did post as I commented before, it would help prevent future arguments on the same because if someone disagrees, they are pointed right to the FAQ thread and that is that. GaijinFlameSage Like D&D, the DM is the ultimate source, what she says goes end of discussion. Sometimes people won't like what you say, but you are the DM (or in this case the Admin) and that is your right a privelage. If they don't like it, they can leave. If they don't listen, you kick them out. I'm sorry if I seem to be preaching. Honestly I'm just trying to give constructive criticism so that DNY doesn't collapse in on itself. GaijinFlameSage I'm not telling Rikku how to run her Guild, I'm just giving some good, blanket advice about leadership. I SUPPORT Rikku, I don't try and shoot her down or tell her she's not doing it right. GaijinFlameSage I'm simply giving advice to try and help her to deal with these things, since you as Mods don't seem to be doing much. Honestly, the best I've heard you do is tell people to shut up about their disagreements. That doesn't help a thing.
And something you've said has just caused Xandora to storm offline. Well done.
I know I said I didn't want arguing in here and I'm being so damn hypocritical right now, but I don't ******** care right now. Hell, why should I bother? I mean, DNY is going to collapse in on itself apparently.

Wow. Another post colored by emotion. I'm being honest. Sure, it's been up for a year, but there are more and more fights cropping up about what can and can't be done. I am not telling you how to run the Guild, but giving you advice. It is up to you to use it or reject it. There's no need to call names. Honestly, I don't believe the Mods are doing their jobs but that is just my opinion and I'm entitled to it. As I said, you don't neccesarily have to agree. But then, I believe that Mods are around to Moderate, which includes spending time putting out rules. If you give special powers, you either have to trust people to be logical and fair or you have to put limits on them to make sure they are. Currently, you do the former and problems crop up. I understand you have a life, so do I. If you don't want to listen to the advice, then don't. It's merely a member expressing once again that there are problems that are not being taken care of. The Guild is for fun, yes, but it also needs rules or else it WILL eventually fall apart. Everything ends, it's true, but if you put the work into it I was suggesting, you can atleast help it to stay up longer. I am as, I said before, not suggesting a dice rolling system with hundreds of rules. I AM suggesting that you put pros and cons to the races clearly stated out as well as limits. It's fact of life that not everyone can do everything. If I didn't care whether or not the Guild went to hell I wouldn't have said a word. But as-is, I'm just being honest and pointing out that people with problems are being told to shove it by you and the Mods and I'm really sick of it. I have nothing against any of you personally, including Xan, but if you're going to run the Guild then run it. I get complaints too about the s**t that goes on in the Guild and I'm not even a Mod. Why? Because I'm the only one that seems to care enough to put it to you. If you really hate me for caring that the Guild I've come to enjoy so much gets worse and not better, than ban me. And I'm sorry if you do, because honestly I only want the best.

You know Gaijin, why do you just shut up for once? Yes there are more fights cropping up, have you noticed that about 3/4 of them are down to you? And we are doing our damn jobs, just as Rikku told us to do.
I would rant on but I'll leave that to her. But I doubt she's coming back tonight.

Why am I having flashbacks to the whole dealy with the demon problem from before? Oh yeah, because you're all blowing it out of proportion. That's not my only beef with this, so I'll order them all nicely for you all.
What happened to taking arguments to PMs or IM windows? Hello people! Do you think the rest of us want to actually READ your pitiful insults at eachother and your mudslinging? Take it to where you're not broadcasting it to everyone!
Again, guys, stop taking everything out of context. If you don't agree with what someone says, ask them why they feel that way and try to find an agreement you can both agree on, and NOT blow the whole thing to high heaven and make a mountain out of a molehill. It gets dull, and annoying, to watch you all bicker.
As another thing, PLEASE put paragraphs in your posts. One long post of type is VERY hard to read....
Now if anyone wants to discus any of this with an unbaised third party to help moderate, I'll be happy to help out, but please, I like this giuld, I like you all, and I'd rather not ahve your bickering and useless fighting tear this place apart like it almost did before. Thank you for your time.

Apparently, I've stepped into this guild at an awkward point in time. I'm new, and I don't know if my opinion is worth a grain of salt in here... but I'll give it a try anyway.
On several different chat, and here on gaia in my own guild, I have led several groups and guilds and clans in my time. I've seen arguements beyond those you can imagine in my time in rp... and the thing that I've found works the best to stop arguements about what a character can or cannot do is a simple character registration.
You just put up a sticky forum, and require every player to fill out a simple form. Work up a list of things that certain races can and cannot do, and then say that you can pick "x" amount of these powers, which you have to list next to all the other good stuff: character name, age, height, weight... add a section for weapons and limit it to one or two... then, when these arguements crop up, the players can settle it themselves by going back and looking at their registrations.
Like I've said, I don't know if you guys even want to listen to me, but I've seen fights like this so many times before, and this is the way that I've found simplifies things. Sorry for butting in... *puts two cents on the table and wanders away*

Why thank you! *chuckles* I have handled one of the most powerful vampire guilds online for several years, although I doubt you've ever heard of them, the Dragosani? Well, at any rate. I have dealt with almost anything you can imagine, and I'm willing to put in my two cents at times... you can normally ask me if you want it. Otherwise, I tend to try to stay out of both trouble and everyone's hair.
