Two hours later, Shinji collapsed to the ground. He was outside the maze finally. His body was covered in scorch marks, with parts of his clothing being melted against his skin from places where he had stumbled against the Static Strings. He rolled onto his back and released the jutsu finally, panting from the exertion of keeping that many Static Strings active for over two and a half hours. When the chakra drain stopped, the pains of all the burns and scorches finally slammed home to the poor gennin. His mouth shot open in a silent scream as he blacked out from the overload of electric shocks.

ANBU of Cloud Village   Kazuo thinks about his squad and remembers who his members were. He had met them already! He looks over to see Shinji a member of his squad walking strangely. Kazuo cups his hands over his mouth the project his voice. "Hey Shinji! I remembered that you are in my squad!" As he waits for a response he makes handsigns and a lightning clone forms next to him and runs to the raikages office.

ANBU of Cloud Village After waiting for a few minutes with no response he gets angry. "Why is he just laying there not responding to me!?" He walks over to Shinji and finds that he is electricuted. "Holy Crap!" He kicks Shinji in the side a few times. "Wake up!"

One of Kazuo's kicks hit a burn on Shinji's side. The pain of having an electric burn kicked brought Shinji back to the land of the conscious, screaming in pain.
((Wow...that's kinda mean.))

Shinji blinked several times. He couldn't focus all too well, but he could tell that the person who had...abused him... was the instructor. But for some reason... he seemed different.
"A..a.a...are you....t.t.t...the ....r..r...re...real in...in...inst...instructor? Wh...wh...why....?"

Shinji reached out to grasp the proffered hand. With all those titles, this man couldn't be mean on purpose too often could he?
Shinji blanched in fear however when he tried taking the hand and he found that his hand was a charred mass that wouldn't bend readily.
Staring at it, he managed to stutter out:
"I...it... must.. ha...have be..been...all....th...the....t.t..testing..."

She was surprised to see a familiar face, Kazuo. What was he doing here? Shouldn't he be on some mission for Hero and the Mist Seven? 'Whatever. It's not any of my business.' Ame took a seat at the side as she watched him kick some kid awake. "Talk about a rude awakening," she chuckled. When the child asked to have his hands cut off, she couldn't help but gag a little. "I don't think that would be a good idea." Wasn't there some medical procedure to just remove the dead flesh? You didn't have to cut off his hands completely, right? How did he expect to continue training to be a ninja without hands?

Shinji's tan face turned bone white. For the first, and probably last time, he spoke without a stutter.
"NO! SENSEI NO! I meant can you the off the charred skin!" Shinji's eyes widened as he realized what just happened.

ANBU of Cloud Village "Oh!! Your hands are charred! I thought that you didn't wash your hands in a couple months." Kazuo grabs Shinji's wrists after making handsigns and then grasped his Mist 7 sword and whipped it out flipping it about and re-sheathing it. The charred skin suddenly fell off and green healing chakra flowed from Kazuo's hand healing the hand where the skin was now missing.
