Bungie spoiled it themselves because their little figurine things show the chief being held up by some brute chieftain.
I'm assuming he blows himself up with a plasma grenade.
But that doesn't matter, because they've made multiplayer incredibly awesome.

Chaplain Fenix Bungie spoiled it themselves because their little figurine things show the chief being held up by some brute chieftain. I'm assuming he blows himself up with a plasma grenade. But that doesn't matter, because they've made multiplayer incredibly awesome. Actually, I found out that the guys who made that diorama took creative liberties without consulting Bungie, so it's entirely possible that it might not even come up in the game. o.O

Then they've either took liberties in spoiling the ending or turning Chief into a p***y.
Because I don't see how he could get captured when he still has a grenade.
