Chris Custard Is the adapter picking up that there is a wireless network in place? I went into device manager, and the adapter is saying the driver files haven't been installed... when I have the friggin install cd in the damn drive. D link airplus G dwl g510 wireless pcs adapter (rev. b) Thats what the Install new Hardware wizard crap thing keeps saying cannot be installed since it cannot find the file specified.

Can't you download the driver you need from their homepage?

The computer in question has no access to the net, so I had to use my computer which already has an existing connection to dl the driver from their site, burn it to a disc and transfer it to Erinn's computer.
It still does the same thing, whether I use the install disc or the disc with the dled drivers.

I guess...
I mean the green led in the back of it is blinking on and off, so I'm assuming its installed properly in the physical sense, I didn't break it or anything.
Just the hardware is not doing what it should be doing..and telling me file cannot be found.
