Streamjumper So you're saying that Nabs will be living on a steady diet of pickles and ice cream while you enjoy a ready supply of infant meat? I could think of no finer arrangement. cool ...For me, anyway.

I meant me! I need shoes! scream Honestly, my dear. What part of "barefoot and pregnant" suggests a need for shoes?

Found an amusing HP fic, but it's got huge plot holes all thru it. Guess the author didn't do much research. It's pretty funny, tho.

SHARE. scream heart ...Pretty pwease? surprised *already reading an HP-fic at the moment, but could always use more future material* X3 http://www.schnoogle.com/authors/cassie/DD01.htmlThere are some LARGE plot holes like the fact that Polyjuice potions take a month to make, electronics don't work on Hogwarts grounds, and if they switch, they're still wearing each other's house ties. You'd be able to tell something was up when you looked at Harry and he's wearing a green and silver tie and Slytherin's patch on his robes. If you're able to ignore these, it's pretty damn funny. sweatdrop

I'll have to read it after I finish what I'm reading now. I love reading complete nonsense that has nothing to do with veterinary medicine. crying Freedom is good.

Only thing with not being in school anymore (and currently unemployed), is that I find myself thinking I should be doing something or going somewhere. sad I think I need a job. (but not before taking a bit of vacation time. Ooh! No more stress!) Edit: I keep finding more and more plot holes. I can't tell if this person really doesn't know their HP, or if I know far too much. sweatdrop Maybe because I don't read much HP fics, I'm more canon than a person who reads lots. confused

Ran into her today, and she asked me about showing my apartment on Friday. I'm going to have to be out of here by the end of the month, with or without a job. sweatdrop There's an opening (or at least there was one) in my parents' town, and I know my mother would really like me to take it. It doesn't sound ideal to me, as far as the job itself goes, but the situation would be good. And I could count on my parents to help me move my things out and stay with them for a few weeks until I could move elsewhere, if I got that job. But I really, really need to get to work finding something, and for all that I know that, I'm having a terrible time mustering up the motivation to really work on job-hunting. For all that I keep fussing and stressing about it, I still haven't written a cover letter, nor have I arranged my references for my resume. ...I've been reading too damned many HP fics. sweatdrop I want HBP. gonk

Link: http://www.livejournal.com/community/shoebox_project/If you're a Remus/Sirius shipper at all you'll love it for sure, but it's also very well-written, funny, and well illustrated. And they portray Peter like a human being, something that you seldom see in marauder era fics. I really love it.

For all that I keep fussing and stressing about it, I still haven't written a cover letter, nor have I arranged my references for my resume. I would reccomend looking into that job back home. It might not be ideal, but will allow you to ease slightly out of school gear while taking your time looking for something else. While you're gaining experience and saving up money you can look into getting your license and a car (if I remember correctly, you don't have either) AND give you the chance to cherry pick another job. Not being under huge time/money constraints while looking for a sweet job would probably be worth quite a bit when weighed against the problems involved with that other job. Besides, its better to get your crappier positions out of the way right out of the gate.
