You know you've been brain washed by the Army when: (1) You sing cadence in the shower (2) You walk with a 30 inch step, effectively marching everywhere (3) Your idea of a relaxed posture is at parade rest (4) You're quicker to respond to your last name and often forget to respond to your first (5) You 'fall in' while walking next to someone without realizing it
I just discovered over the past week that I fall into every single one of those categories. Not even going to mention the severe change in dialect / jargon.

Well, they have to 'break' you before remolding you to do their bidding. If you've been brainwashed-- mission accomplished for the army.

Well then...I say Hooah to the Army.
Every time I hear mission accomplished I think of those interactive suicide prevention videos they make us watch. "Mission accomplished...Good job." In that slow drawl at the end.

I was like that...For all of a couple months. Now I've broken away from the brainwashing. Being in a shitty unit will do that to you. I still speak much differently though and I think I have gotten much more stupid.

D, thus far all of my units have been shitty ones. I'm just comfortable this way. I've always been a bit on the orderly and discipline side, so the uniformed style the Army is suppose to follow fits me pretty well.

75 is ok. It's getting closer to 35 here. Couple light snows already, ice fog, etc.
