*Sips her latte.* I have not been to a wedding ceremony in some time and the ones I have attended have always had someone giving the bride away. Katana said that in modern weddings it's acceptable for brides to either give themselves away or their Mother's can give them away. Imagine that! surprised

Odds are my Mother is going to be too emotional at the ceremony. This marriage is a really big deal to my family and she will probably need to be seated.
The good thing is though, I don't have to worry so much about it. If nobody wants to give me away at the wedding, then I have the option to give myself away. Frankly, I don't think there will be many wanting to or willing to be giving me away at this wedding. neutral *Sips her latte.*

*Puts her latte onto the bar and looks intensely at Ayami.* There are lots of people who never thought that Officer Dougherty and I would be capable of having a long term relationship. In fact, there are STILL lots of people who think we will never even get to the wedding. STILL people who can't see this marriage taking place. We have fought obstacle after obstacle together…he and I.
