@ V: Yeah, I totally agree with you. I voted for Huckabee in the primaries. This would be my first year voting but I refuse to cast my vote with any of our three choices. I'm not doing it. They stand for too many things I'm against and half the time they're wishy washy to please the public. *shakes head sadly*
Worse part is, the candidates will only get worse as the years drag on...*sigh*
@ Dante: Ha! I am immune. I shall be the rebel that thwarts all your evil world dominations schemes for I am no gamer! Bwahaha!
... stare Now I'm going to work. I'll see you guys in 8 to 10 hours.

V - i don't think there are any wrong answers. specially in a subject like this. we all have different values and it's inevitable that we'll like different candidates. don't worry, i just like to debate sometimes but there's no ill will towards anyone who disagrees with me. i wouldn't mock anyone for choosing whom they choose, or even those who refuse to vote. Star - i think you're right. old people are fun to play with but damn do they screw things up sometimes. Dante - i remember that! this is like, revenge of the nerds because we rule now. actually, i consider myself a hybrid because i also play sports. NOT Wii Sports, but actual sports. behold: Mild-mannered geek by day... Ankle-breaking jock by... the weekend... yeah... anyway, today, Honh is no longer a teenager. happy birthday, buddy!

@Dante: So can Sara... who has a more likely chance of taking over the world? ninja
@V: Huckabee came off a too religious in a nation of the morally corrupt. What can a person like that do? They saw basically another Bush but with more religious tendencies.
@Cole & Dante: I only really play the GTA games so that I can randomly kill people and take their money. It's a bad habit. You are still geeks, but we love you all the same.
@Triskal: Sarai knew Cole was cute years ago... tis why she always attacks him. neutral

aw, thanks for the compliment, ladies.
and happy birthday, triskal!
as far as geeks go, i think there's still the misconception of the "geek" stereotype. that would explain the negative connotation because the stereotype dictates a strictly one-dimensional and generally socially undesirable individual. another explanation could be the environment that people have been exposed to. i'm lucky enough to live in california's silicone valley. we're mostly geeks here, and so i see geeks in different flavors. let's say they only serve vanilla ice cream in wyoming. and they just call it "ice cream". in this scenario, people who never wandered beyond the borders of the state (or was completely cut off to the outside world) will think ALL ice cream are vanilla. not necessarily their fault, just misguided. the media's potrayal of geeks still further the stereotype. the few, notable exceptions off the top of my head are peter parker, bruce wayne (yup. geek.), and hugh jackman's character in the movie "Swordfish". even angelina jolie's character in "Hackers".
so there. geeks rule. i'm late for a conference call so i'll talk to you guys in a few.

Triskal - whose bebeh is that? eek actually, my mom has repeatedly asked me to give her a granddaughter before. ever since my goddaughter was born. mind you, my mom don't necessarily want an in-law. just a cute little ron-spawn to spoil. she's saying all this outside of church... infront of our church friends. she's weird... but i love my momma. personally, i just wanna borrow a pregnant chick. people like to rub pregnant women's bellies for some reason. i think it'd be funny if i pulled a gun on them and said, "leggo my preggo.". it'll be funny! watch, someone get me a pregnant chick right quick... Dante - according to this, i'm a "Half Baked". i don't know if it's that valid, since i took it again and said i'm a "Cherry Garcia". then again, Jerry Garcia was probably half baked half the time back in the day so i guess the quiz has some merit after all... xp oh yeah, how long has your hair been... you know, this long? hahah. i still see that profile pic you have when i look through my friends list and i think you need to update that. heheh. my hair's really gone (buzzed) at this point and my photo album from the basketball tournament reflects that. the tournament went down a month ago and i've kept the style since. i feel aerodymanic, so it's a tradition for me to shave my head when i play ball. i'm like the Anti-Samson, because i think i play better bald. mrgreen Illyria - thanks for the vote of confidence, and i think we've all figured you're such an Angel/Buffy... um, buff. hahah. i never got into Angel and i lost interest in Buffy after season 5, when they switched networks. although the musical episode is one of my favorites. 3nodding
