"I'm sure you will" Jackie said looking at him resentfully "you are to depart tonight" she said leaning forward on the desk "Do not disappoint me this time or you might end up playing with the bandersnatch" she added with a smirk.

Ace of diamonds smiled at the pleasant memories not feeling disturbed by Lewis closeness "Ah, yes, the Knave of hearts" he said remembering the incident fully in detail "I was merely a Two at that time, and therefore not in charge of the mission, but it was quiet an enjoyable job" he said as his eyes sparkled maliciously, he could clearly hear the cries of the little girl he had shot repeatedly for fun as she called for her dear brother, her pain had been quiet delicious.

"I suppose i should take responsibility for finishing it though, now that the one in charge is resting comfortably inside one of your coffins" Ace of diamonds continued calmly before grabbing one of the long strands from Lewis hair "I'm glad you where able to have fun with the boy but I'm afraid you might have to forget about him or find him before i do" he said this looking at Lewis' hair on his hand before looking up at Lewis himself "Unless you want me to bring you the corpse to practice necrophilia" he said with a smirk.


Eight of spades beamed inside, closing the door right after he was inside "Greetings, Sir" he said smiling sweetly but not half as cheerful as usual "I'm here to atone for my sins" he said happily yet his words carrying a sarcastic undertone to them, he just couldn't bear being all that cute and bright in front of the Jack of Diamonds himself.

Ace of clubs picked up the small diary from the floor and flipped trough the pages, a photograph falling while she did so, she picked up the photograph and squinted her eyes to see it on the darkness on the night, it was a family portrait, 3 smiling woman and a serious looking man, despite the short hair and the innocent look she recognized herself almost intermediately, the older woman must have been her mother, she had beautiful black hair and sparkling hazelnut eyes, nothing like her really, her father was also quiet different from her, dark brown hair, dead serious black eyes, the only one that looked a bit like her was the little girl she was hugging, the same silver hair and gray eyes.

The Ace of clubs smiled a bit at the irony of the tricks genetics played sometimes until she noticed who the girl next to her on the photography was... the Jack of spades? the Jack of spades was her sister?

Nobody smiled back at maria, understanding what she meant even if it had been not quiet what he was referring to, they had reached Marcie's home but there seemed not to be anyone in "I wasn't really referring to the suits" He said not looking at her, did she really not remember he tried to kill her before?

Ven then stopped when he seen the mysterious person in front of him. " You....it's you! What are you doing here?!" Ven was shocked to see him out in the woods like this. " Well, I have had a crazy couple of days. I’ve bin running non stop trying to find the suits and kill them for them killing my family." Ven then takes in a deep breath. " And not to long ago, I was touched by another man named Lewis." Ven felt really bad talking to him about what happened to him. " I was sacred...I honestly thought I was going to die after if he would have continued to do what he wanted to do." Ven then paused to get rid of the image he was having in his mind. " Now I am looking for the suits to kill them at will for what they have done, but why are you here? " Ven said while putting his sword away.

"yes, yes, off you go" Jackie said waiving her hand dismissively at the Ace of spades before getting back to her work, she needed to get it done before going to bed.

"I'm sorry but I am not much of a team work man" Ace of diamonds said with a calm smile letting go of Lewis' hair and grabbing his wrist forcefully instead, somehow bringing him closer by doing so but not caring if he hurt Lewis at all "you are welcomed to watch if you want and, well..." he paused a bit, Lewis' smell making his head spin in ecstasy, it was the smell of death after all "If you do find him first, keep him safe for me, will you?" He whispered malevolently as a morbid smile formed on his lips.

eight of spades' eyes widened a bit "you haven't been informed sir? the eight of clubs was meant to turn in the report, i wonder what might have happened to it, oh, wait, i think he died this morning,maybe that's why... Well, nevermind" he said smiling again "I kind of... sort of... forgot some procedures" he said not looking directly at the jack of diamonds on the eyes "from when the Hatter's son was captured and interrogated before" he admitted finally

Victor closed his eyes, sickness in his stomach. His heart ached in empathy for Ven. "I . . . was violated by the previous Ace of Hearts," he said quietly, "He took me into the execution chamber late at night and did things to me I'll never forget. It happened about six or eight months ago and I am still not passed it. I'm afraid this will haunt you. Lucian . . . I am so sorry that sick, disgusting man did that to you."

He sighed deeply and adjusted his glasses. "However, it gives me great pleasure that you are joining the resistance tonight. When in the presence of the other resistors, simply address me as Caterpillar. When we are alone, address me as Victor."



Understandable," Lewis laughed, despite the strong grip on his wrist. "You're a strong, independent man who does not require the assistance of others."

He inched closer to the Ace of Diamonds until they were only millimeters apart. "I would love to watch what you do to the boy. He is the son of the man who crippled me, after all."



Jack sat his glass back on the table. "Ah, yes that," he said, almost annoyed. He had been bedridden for a while since his illness was worsening and was hardly updated on what was going on in his organization.

"So, the Hatter's only son is dead. That's fine with me, since he was one of the resistors."

Jack gently moved stray strands of hair out of his face. "Now, Eight of Spades, by 'procedures', I'm assuming that means you didn't handle his body correctly."


Gestalt walked quickly to the experimentation laboratory, despite Lewis' plans for him. He didn't know what Jack meant by "doll games", but he knew it couldn't be anything good. Normally, Lewis enjoyed tormenting Gestalt and found it entertaining when Jack would injure Gestalt. The doll could only tell that he would go through Lewis' torment once more.

He reached the lab, noticing the wakefulness in the girl's eyes.

"I see you're waking up," he murmured, walking closer to the girl on the bed.

Ace of diamond's morbid smile remained in place, the strong smell of death making him stay motionless when he should have been backing away "I'll be sure to 'play' with him on your name" he said before closing his eyes and taking a deep breath, inhalating the sweet smell of the rotten corpses and dried blood that emanated from Lewis "Now, if you excuse me" he said opening his eyes and releasing his grip on Lewis "I have orders to follow and i do not wish to make the Jack of diamonds wait" 'or the Ace of Hearts for that matter' he added mentally.

A sad smile formed upon eight of spades' usually cheerful features "As sharp as always sir" he said finally looking up at the jack of diamonds on the eyes, a cold wave of panic filling him as he did so but his features didn't change, if anything only his eyes became duller, foggier "Punish me" he whispered not caring that the gleeful tone of his voice had been replaced by a husky and raspy one.

"Well then," Lewis called with a laugh, "Enjoy yourself! Don't get yourself killed . . . well, I trust that you won't. I assure you that the boy is a thrill."

Lewis crossed his arms, watching the bob and sway of the Ace of Diamonds' ponytail until he disappeared at the end of the hallway. It was people like the Ace of Diamonds that Lewis loved, those who loved to spill blood. At the same time, people like the Ace of Diamonds made his job more difficult. He had to clean up after those people after all. Business had been busy for Lewis and Lewis knew that it would only get busier.

The undertaker grinned widely, leaning against the door of the Jack of Diamonds.I simply cannot wait to see what Ven is put through by that lunatic.



Jack sat tranquil as ever, despite how suddenly the Eight of Spades had changed. He uncrossed his legs and crossed them again, switching the position of each one. He had been faced by bold Suits before, but none of them had ever demanded a punishment. He is definitely a brave one . . .

"You're definitely a strange one," he said, scrutinizing the Eight. "Shall I give you my favorite punishment? I believe you will definitely learn to . . . not be so forgetful. Certainly, you must know what my favorite punishment is, Eight of Spades."



Victor smiled gently, placing a hand on Ven's shoulder. "Very well then, Ven," he said, "Hang in there, please. If all goes well tonight, the Suits will never see daylight."

The Ace walked silently alongside Ven, his hands in his pockets as many thoughts went through his mind at once. "Ven . . . tonight, if you see a Suit with long silver hair . . . and maybe a lab coat . . . do not attack her."
