*Chris sat on the steps of the boys' dorm. What was he going to do? Was Dani right about space between him and Cassie? Maybe...but he still loved her. But did he deserve her?
There wasn't much left to do now but brood. Brood like no one has ever brooded before. All brooders before him would roll under the steamroller that his brooding was.*
God, I am getting weird.
*goes back to brooding*

All the girls in the dorm adored Megan's dog and even put a red cape on him because it was 'cute'. However, it was getting late and they went to bed.. The dog was still up when Wendy walked into the dorm..
"Hello there... Are you lost?"
The dog turned to her... he was no longer normal but a demon dog.. He ran after her... Wendy's scream could be heard all though out the dorms...
"Ahhh!"
Cassie ran out, lasso in hand, to see what was going on. She saw Wendy's dead body and bloody foot steps she ran outside the dorms to see Lycrus facing her.
"Who the hell are you?"
" Ares true champion.."

"Excuse me, but are you Christopher Powell?...because if you are, I must have a word with you..." asked a voice. When Chris looked up, he'd find an older gentleman standing amongst the shadows, but clearly distinguishing himself despite the blacks of his outfit syncing with that of the shadows themselves.

*Chris had stood when he thought he heard a scream but became distracted by the Man in Black.*
Uh...I'm not Roland that's for sure. The Gunslinger? Never mind. Yea...I'm Chris.
*He had to be a teacher but he didn't look like any teacher Chris heard of. Maybe he was a new English teacher?*

"And you are the traitor... who I must kill.."
He swung a sword a Cassie who quickly dodged. But then he punched her.. knocking Cassie into the ground as she spat up blood.
"Y...y...you"
" This is too easy."
He punches her again Cassie grabs her lasso the one weapon she has left... Cassie lassos him and it sends a bolt of lighting towards him but instead of harming him it fuels him..
"Sorry Aunt Cassie... this is the end"

The Man in Black blinked at the reference, which of course, went over his head. He hadn't read anything by Mr.King...much anyone in the last 100 years...
"I apologize for bothering you but I like to keep my promises...and I've made one to your mother..."
Stepping forward, the shadowy gent looked into Chris's eyes and sadly, with warmth and honesty that seemed out of place with the man's appearance, but nothing about it seemed to say he was lying.
"And she told me to tell you that she's sorry...so, so sorry..."
He removed his hat, bowing his head in a way so solemn, it was like he was respecting one's passing at a funeral service.

Sorry? She's sorry? For what? Disowning me? Or murdering my friend? Does she know that everyone on campus blames me now? I'm freaking pariah. My own girlfriend hates me, partly because of what she did.
Sorry...right. She can cram her 'apology' up her Reverend's a**.

Lycrus grabbed Cassie's lasso and used it against her. Strangling the poor girl with it... Cassie struggled but couldn't break though.. Her body hurt all over... Her eyes rolled to the back of head.. she was so close... so close to death. Then suddenly a twinkle.. no something more then that. Cassie's power.. her own power.. not that of her father or of Ares flowed though her body.. She broke free and gained control of her lasso then banished him to a different demension...
"I didn't know I could do that..?"
She wiped some of the blood from her face... The lasso again opened up a portal... and Raven.. passed out landed on top of Cassie..
"Rae.. Raven"

"She's left the Church."
There, it was said and could not be taken back. He put the hat back onto his head, but remained comforting as best he could
"I helped her escape the Church of Humanity, and now, she's somewhere safe and currently working on her penance for what she's done...as for the Church of Humanity and its Purifiers...the sect that came to Midvale..."
He tipped his hat over his eyes, letting darkness fill his face.
"...Won't be bothering anyone else...ever again."
He turned from Chris, walking away, but held a hand in a gesture of warning.
"But...look out for Stryker. He was the one who got away...but when I find him..."
He let that hang in the air, for Chris to imagine...as the gentleman in black headed for the main school building, having one more appointment to meet...

Cassie was holding Raven.. Lycrus was gone but Cassie was still injured... She tried carry Raven back to the girls dorm but collapsed on to her knees.. She was panting.. tired and confused ... what was that power. Cassie took out her cell phone and sent out a text to Dani, Billy, and Chris.. The text only read one word..
"help.."
With that Cassie collapsed onto Raven.. their two energies conflicting with one another.

*Chris's phone buzzed.*
Hm? CASSIE!?
*Chris ran towards the girl's dorm while dialing. He could hear a trilling around the corner of the buidling. Sprinting around the side, he almost tripped over Cassie and Raven.*
HOLY CRAP! Cassie!
*They both looked badly hurt. The only way he could help was to get them to the med center. He armored up and gently lifted Cassie on to one shoulder and Raven on to the other. He made his way to the med center as fast as he could manage.*

The girls were rushed into the med center.. Raven was giving off a dark aura and Cassie was giving off a light one... The injuries started healing themselves. Mr. Wayne ran inside he looked at both the girls and then looked at Chris.
"WHAT HAPPENED?!"

I have no idea! Cassie texted me that she needed help. I ran to the girls' dorm and found them in a pile around the corner. I damn tripped over them...brought them here right away.

Heading out to town with Lisa, Hartley comes to a stop at the torn up remains of Wendy.
"Oh, for gross. Did nobody think to clean this up?"
The two walk around the mess and head on their way.
"Another pointless death..."
"Eh. What are you going to do?"
"Be more prominent in my own personal story, I think."
