Nobody smiled remembering the note maria had left behind, he chuckled a little getting from under maria and sitting in the dirt, not caring that his white robes might get dirty "Well, you could always stay at a friend's, I've heard you befriended my Knight, Marcie" he said smiling a little as his face started to cool down.

Maria held a hopeful look in her eyes as Nobody said what he did. "Do you think she might possibly let me stay with her?" she asked, not wanting to sleep in the forest in the least. She was more likely to get found here.

Nobody smiled sweetly before getting to his feet and offering maria a hand to get up "I'm sure she will, but we should start walking if we want to be there before it's too late in the night" he said taking off his pocket watch, 10:15 it read, he had barely enough time to drop maria by and go back to the carriage to then get to the looking glass, why was everything so far away when he had so little time?

Maria accepted his hand, standing up with Nobody's help. "Mmkay." she said, waiting patiently for Nobody to lead the way. After all, she had gotten herself lost once again. She knew not how to get anywhere from her current location.

Raven sighed, remembering his last mission. "Before the one where I had to find the Wonderland stranger," he said wearily, "The Jack of Hearts terminated my mission . . . and then the Two of Spades attacked me, leaving me hospitalized in the world beyond the Looking Glass."
He hung his head low, shaking stray fringes of hair out of his eyes. "It was a disappointment, really."
Raven lifted his head with a quick motion. "If this has to do with the resistance, Jackie, I assure you I have no part in it. I don't have the desire to participate in that rubbish. I intend to stay loyal to the Suits and serve this organization until I die."
"Ace of Diamonds!" Lewis shouted, holding his arms out as if he wished to embrace the Ace. "You're just the person I wish to speak to! I have a warning for you, and you will not believe this!"
Gestalt glanced at the Eight of Spades. "Perhaps I should give you a little more time for awaiting your punishment," he said, "I need to speak to the Jack of Diamonds in regards to a prisoner."

"You won't feel uncomfortable though, Will you?" nobody asked a bit concerned as he started to walk not letting go of Maria's hand so that they wouldn't get separated.

Jackie smiled "I see, you will have no problem on putting the revolts on the west to an end then i suppose" She said handing him a folder with the names and pictures of the involved people "The Ace of Diamonds recently came back from 'cleaning' the east district and i already sent people to the other zones, I supposed this won't pose much trouble for you" she said smirking a little.
"As you wish sir" Eight of Spades said placing a hand to his forehead as if addressing a military officer but with such a bright smile you couldn't take it but for a joke, he was truly happy for once so that helped a lot on his act.
"A warning?" Ace of diamonds asked raising an eyebrow and disregarding Lewis behavior as he stepped aside to allow the Jack of clubs to enter Jack of diamond's office, he just leaned his body against the wall and crossed his arms, forgetting for a moment about the hatter's son.

"I was extremely uncomfortable back at my castle. It just doesn't feel like a home." Maria stated, thinking for a moment. "I would be far more comfortale if I were away from that place. That, plus, I've been feeling like something terrible is going to happen any seccond there. Perhaps it's just paranoia, but still."
Pyria followed the two, silent as she kept a look out for any potential meal.

Nobody chuckled a bit, he wouldn't feel at ease near the suit any day either but he couldn't help feeling amused at the accurateness of maria's sixth sense "I see, i was just worried because of the incident at the castle a couple weeks back" he said feeling a little ashamed at the memories of almost killing Maria but smiling at the irony of it.

Maria thought back, a slight frown and worried look placing itself upon her delicate features. "None of the suits have been so bold as to try an assassination against me since that day. I still do not trust them, Nobody. They just give me a horribly ominous feeling."

"It won't be a problem at all," Raven said, now at ease. "The Ace of Diamonds, heh. Well, I'll bet it was no problem for him at all."
He gently grabbed the folder from the Jack of Spades, offering her his usual smile. Raven wasn't afraid of killing people, especially not after killing the man he loved.
"I will get through with this as quickly as I can."
Lewis smirked, inching closer to the Ace of Diamonds.
"I trust you remember the mission to kill the Knave of Hearts and his family ten years ago," he said in his usual quiet voice. He crossed his arms, slipping his hands through his sleeves this time to tap on his arms with his fingernails. To think he has kept his position after all these years. I wonder how many Twos he has killed . . . and I can see why he hasn't been executed by now. He is a vital asset to the Suits.
"Well, you and the rest of the Diamonds assigned to that mission didn't finish your work." Lewis began to chuckle, his smirk becoming his usual grin, showing his line of pointed, yellowing teeth. "You see, today, I met a young man who seemed to be about . . . in his early twenties. We talked to each other, one thing lead to another, I tried to rape him," he spoke nonchalantly, as if rape was something that could be spoken lightly of, "And I learned that he is the son of the Knave of Hearts. The resemblance he bears to the late Knave is remarkable . . . and he has a vendetta to the Suits, particularly you."
"Master," Gestalt said after shutting the door. "I have retrieved the girl."
Jack turned his attention to his doll. "Where is she?"
"I sedated her and left her in the lab," Gestalt responded, "I came to you for further orders."
The Jack of Diamonds pondered for a moment, gazing upward and leaning back in his seat. "Take her to interrogation for further questioning," he said, "And tell them to lock her up when they are done with her. If she is truly important to the Jack of Hearts, then I wish for him to suffer because of her."
"Yes, Master," Gestalt said with a bow, turning to the door.
"Oh, Gestalt," Jack called, causing his doll to freeze. "As you can see, my dear friend Lewis is here and he wishes to play doll games with you later. I trust that you will return later for that."
Gestalt was wordless for a moment, hundreds of thoughts processing through his manufactured mind at once. "I will," he said, quieter than usual.
With that, Gestalt opened the office door, beckoning the Eight of Spades forward.

Victor was alone again, feeling more empty than he ever had. He was empty when the previous Ace of Hearts tore out his dignity, he was empty when that very same man tore a large fragment of his soul out, and now he was walking farther and farther away from the woman he loved, walking closer to his death. A part of Victor's young yet burdened mind told him that the kiss he gave Elizabeth before he departed would be his last.
I need to shake off this worry . . . maybe I'm just far to anxious . . . still, I can't get rid of this feeling. Maybe it's because tonight . . . the castle and the Suits are going down. I want this. I want this so badly.
A sudden sound alerted Victor, causing him to immediately place a hand at the side of his pant leg. Wait a minute . . . I don't have any weapons on me . . . damn, this isn't good. I need a gun before tonight.
The Ace adjusted his glasses, standing with his fists up.
"Identify yourself!" Victor called, "I hope you know you are up against a Suit, an Ace at that!"
Victor gasped lightly at the sight of a familiar blond-haired man dressed in black. His eyes, however seemed different. The green eyes he usually saw filled with determination were now beaten, as if he had just been through something tiring and horrific.
"Lucian?" Victor called, lowering his hands, "Lucian? Is that you?"
