I finally bought the ToS Walkthrough. I've played the game several times, and unlocked quite a bit, so I don't feel cheap. I'm actually quite proud of how much I figured out on my own.
well, the only times i used a walkthrough, was for the Ymir Forest, Tower of Salvation, Ice Temple, and getting a bunch of recipes
if you want the last few recipes, get the Chef costume for Regal from the wonder chef in meltokio (right before you beat mithos the last time), and every cook you meet in Tehealla or Sylavarant will likely give you a recipe
