Well my Girlfriend/Fiancé lives there and when I tried crossing the border... when I was 18 I got arrested for stealing a magazine... a petty theft charge, and they said it's a felony in Canada so I have to go through immigration and get it taken off my record etc. I intend on moving to Canada but I can't cross the border so I have to go through a huge run around and file a bunch of useless papers over a crime I didn't even intend on committing. XD
Thankfully she lives in Ottawa, so Parliament hill isn't a far drive, we think if I ship her the papers and she takes it to immigration in Ottawa it'll speed up the process. D:

America has a few but they both never stand by their words, so no matter what options you choose it's what the government wants. ...Unlike the typical democracy where the government actually fears it's citizens... The way it should be. :

Right and that's one thing that's forgotten quite often. The govt should be afraid of us, not the other way around. 3nodding

I know right. Somewhere along the line, humanity lost the ability to think for themselves... >_< It's nice to actually talk to someone who gets it. D:

I guess that's kind of why I am cynical and people just assume I'm a jerk. D:

And on a side note: The new guy actually reminded me of this conversation.
Had a misunderstanding with this Navy sailor over the course of the exercise I was on. He spend a solid week bad mouthing America. Then spent the next thirty minutes unconscious.
If you have s**t to talk about my country, by all means you're free to do so. I'll fight, kill, and die to protect that very freedom, but if you hate this country so much don't join it's Armed Services! You're just giving us, those of us that joined for more than a paycheck, a bad name.
And on that note: Welcome to the Black Company! Do you take your ravages with or without bondage? KB can accommodate either way, but you're still getting plugged at least once.
