"Aw, jeez, again?" He rubbed his head, looking up and to the left. "Yeah, I think I can take some time out of my busy schedule to run the Ijutsu Dojo. I just hope it's as inactive as it was the last time you were gone." He paused, thinking for a moment, and coming to a silent conclusion.
"But as soon as you get back, we begin. That should give me time to teach the basics to Mai."

Reeve's pace quickens as he gets closer. And as he gets closer, he grows more afraid.
"Fen...Iri..Fen...Iri...Fen...Iri...I'm leaving."
Run, run, little boy, time to pack your things and flee the mistakes you've made.

Fenris slipped into the kitchen and grinned to Nyl, Sephiroth and Sage. "I smell tea, mind if I have a cup?" She asked before drawing closer to the group.

The voice breezes through again. It's louder this time. Reeve may or may not hear it. "Where're you going, Iri-Iri?" And it's because of the voice that Iri doesn't catch the last thing Reeve says. The crow does catch it.
For the first time, the bird shows a definite sign that it's no ordinary avian. It looks at Reeve and glares. Then, it mind links. "Running won't do you any good. Or do you plan to leave and never return? Either way, it will haunt you."

He claps a hand over his mouth, then keeps walking.

Nami carefully picked her way up the path towards the main dojo. Though her stomach had grown considerably over her absence, she seemed to have adjusted well enough and was clad in a comfortable pair of jeans and a tank-top, sandals on her feet. It was unseasonably hot out. Clow had gone ahead with the bags, refusing to allow Nami to , heft or lift a finger. She'd had to talk him out of simply carrying her the entire way.
There had been some complications with the pregnancy and the doctors had been very firm in requesting that she stay under observation for an undetermined period of time. Things had seemed to even themselves out and she was given the go-ahead to return but not before learning that she carried not one child, but two. A boy and a girl.
The idea of twins had thrown her through a loop. With the worries about her family already firmly planted, the history of Hyuuga twins was a prospect she didn't want to consider...although it explained why she seemed larger than she should be at seven months.
Sighing under her breath, mind heavy with thought, she continued on her way, barely paying attention to her surroundings but deeply happy to be home.

Fenris grinned softly, rubbing the back on her neck. "I had to meet with Neko quickly so see if I could become friendly again with him. Turns out things of gone from no respect to very little... That's some improvement..." She shrugged, a smile stuck on her face and her grabbed a mug and filled it with the delicious scented liquid. She then sipped some of it and took a sip.

(( RP Iri doesn't even know what it is yet. But the truth behind it is this: The head of Iri's family banished the soul of one of her kin into the body of a crow. The crow was sent to Iri to be guarded by her. And pretty soon Iri's going to be leaving to put an end to the matter. ))
Iri's eyes widen in concern. She coughs once and then says, "Eh, what was that?"
The crow drops its head in regret. "I oughta bite you for that. She isn't supposed to know yet! Top secret info. But Iri must be leaving soon, too. It's important. She has ignored her family for too long, and now she has to face up to that fact."

She mounted the front steps slowly, passing to the door and inside before remembering Nyl's warning about it always bringing trouble.
Brushing a strand of dark hair behind her ear, she glanced around the room, taking in the familiar surroundings and feeling content. She could sense other signatures, scattered on the grounds and a large group in the kitchen.
Guilt tugged at her. They'd left without a note or word of any kind. When she'd woken up in pain the first thought had been the safety of their future family and had immediately flickered to Barton without thinking. Of course, they eventually sent a message when things had calmed down but she still felt remorse.
Using her byakygan, she spotted Clow in their room, asleep on the floor beside an open duffle bag.
I forgot how tired he must be... She thought affectionately, a hand resting atop her stomach.

"Oh really? How will you protect her once she leaves and you go your way? Lenora has been calling for her, and she won't leave unless Iri goes with her. Then there's this poor Fenris girl. You've got a tough situation, boy." The crow gives its head a shake and goes silent.
The voice rises again, keeping the same volume as before. It doesn't want many people to hear it. "Iri, it's bad. We need to go. I already have your things."
Iri stops in her tracks. As much as she wants to be there for Reeve, she needs to help her family. She owes them as much for ignoring them for so long. "Reeve, I have to be going. That letter I told you about--Someone's come to get me. What're you going to do?"

Iri gives him a nod. Just before turning away, she says, "I really do love you, Reeve. And I'll hurry home."
She turns away and heads back toward the forest. Tears form in her eyes as she links with her sister's mind. "I'm on my way, Lenora. And I have that weird crow with me. Someone is going to give me an explanation, right?"
A giggle on the breeze is her only answer.
