I watched my first episode of Hoarders the other day. It was kind of depressing. :{

Ok, Woman in Black...do you think it'll actually be scary?

"Oh, here's a bunch of pages."

Said by co-worked 10 minutes after I told her that's where the rest of the pages were, after she spent time sighing all over the studio looking for more pages.

Let me weave you a tale. A tale of deceit and thievery, of villains so foul that it would make you swoon. SWOON.

It all started on Thursday, March 15th. Linda contacted me on AIM and asked me an innocent question.

Curious Linda
Did you get that thing I sent ya?

Wait...maybe it wasn't so Peter Potamus but she inquired about a package she sent us via the United Parcel Service. I said, "Why no!" Linda said it was left by the backdoor and it was supposed to be delivered on Tuesday. So I went in search of the mysterious package.

Alas, it was not to be. No package was here. I was packageless. That was when Linda realized it was delivered to 615 4th St instead of my address, 615 5th St. No big deal. The next day I would visit 615 4th and ask for the package.

Again, it was not to be. The husband and father who answered the door couldn't find any package with my name on it. We even went to the back door but no dice. I informed Linda of this and she began a claim with UPS for the missing package.

But UPS is clever...like a hobbitses. It seems they take satellite images of deliveries. And the UPS guy in question remembers that he delivered 7 packages to that location that day. For the next TWO WEEKS, UPS called 615 N 4th St and rang the door bell. No one would answer. EVER!

Finally, UPS sent a bigwig up here and laid an insidious trap. They waited outside early in the morning, waiting for the husband/father to go to work. The man came out of his front door and BAM! UPS was on him....like a boss.

The UPS boss leveled an ultimatum. Return the package that we KNOW you have....or you shall never receive a package again. EVER! It worked. They turned over the package and it was given to us.

THE DIRTY ******** LIED TO MY FACE IN FRONT OF THEIR CHILDREN! THEY EVEN OPENED IT UP TO SEE WHAT WAS INSIDE! GAH! I HATE THIS TOWN AND THE BUNCH OF JACKASSES THAT INHABIT IT!

Btw...thanks, Linda. Heather and I love it.

Can't believe this mule hasn't been kicked out during what I assume to be annual sweeps of the guild, but figure I should just drop a note anyway.

Currently going back to school for Graphic Design but have to knock out my core courses first so no real drawing...outside of my notebooks anyway.

Hate Art History with a vengeance though. Probably not a good quality in an artist, huh?

I also managed to snag the gig as an internet reviewer's titlecard artist, though the episode with my first card hasn't premiered just yet. Might be a little while more.

But if you follow the Blockbuster Chick, you'll see my arts-farts soon enough.

Depends. Art History generals are notoriously dull. I had mine a 8:30 in the morning for 3 and a half hours of mostly slides and lecturing verbatim from the book. You'd think that'd mean you could skip out, read the book and ace the tests, but you'd be wrong. There were "class participation" and "attendance" points that were ineligible for extra credit (you could take EC to raise the score of a paper or a test). So yeah. Hated that class.

But specified art history classes are great, especially since those teachers are usually pretty passionate. Film Noire, Film Survey, Comic Book history and Animation History? Good times.

It's been a long time. As far as Art History... I've taken it before.. it depends on the professor. Mine was a super hot guy who had just started as a professor.. Needless to say I paid a lot attention in that class, so did all the other girls in it... but not to the material xd If you have a great professor you'll get through it, a good teacher can turn dull material and make it interesting.. check out Rate My Professor if you want to see what past students of your teacher have said.

Don't trust the hotness rating on their site though. I looked up some of my teachers and I'm not sure who's rating hotness, but I can tell you first hand some of those peppers were vastly over-rated.

Hey everyone. I just wanted to let ya'll know I'm home safe and sound from Afghanistan. I've been home for a few months now, but some personal things have kept me from the Kapow! at large. BUT I'm home and gonna try to be a bit more proactive on here again.
